⭐ No Excuses ⭐
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN

Never stop doing your best just because someone doesn't give you credit.

Reading between the lines:
* your best...or at least give it what you can in that moment...one's best is difficult to sustain 24/7 * sometimes a break is required to regroup and rest * credit...this one hit home related to weight because if the scale doesn't bless us with a loss/maintain we sometimes don't continue doing what we know will help and "blow it" so...give yourself credit for doing what it takes to lose/maintain/exercise/attain
Karen: Love the idea of "one"...one step begins the journey (or something like that) and your comment ties in with that. I have read that a person who does not want to exercise should do five minutes (or the one) and then reassess and often does more than the short time limit they set for themself. After I finish here I will go down with my timer/phone and do a bit on the air walker and elliptical
Bob: Hope you had a good weekend
AND - <hee hee> I was back OP with the food yesterday recording every BLT on MFP and in my journal. The scale gave me credit this morning

Good morning Cathy & Bob.
Yay! Good work! Mine has been going up but went down .2 this morning but I'm OK & am staying the course. Why do we seem to need so much validation, especially with the scale? When motivation comes my way it's not such a ferocious need. But all it takes lately is for the wind to blow in a different direction and I'm derailed. So sad. But I'm pushing on against that current and trying to minimize any damage I may do along the way. Good message to start the week with. P/T in a bit.
