Ann I'm sorry you had to have the tooth extracted.LOL on you and your sisters fighting over the vinegar.I may buy some tomorrow and just try a regular tbsp.
Thanks LaDonna.I hope the tax mess gets straightened out and your day at work isn't too busy.
Susi I can't blame you for cancelling that dental appointment. That's a lot of money.
Bee Your chicken noodle soup looks good.
MJ Those MRI's are loud and obnoxious.I hope you enjoyed lunch at the Outback.
Ann Sending prayers for your tooth situation.I'm glad the pain is finally subsiding.
We went to town this morning for cattle feed and a coffee. After lunch I went for a walk. Will still do recumbent bike later. It was nice and sunny but coming back that south wind was a little rough.

Ann Hope that the pain can continued to be managed by OTC meds. Aw shucks! So wish that the infection could have been resolved in a less painful way. Honestly, dental care can cost a small fortune. Yes, the one foot in front of the other strategy is an effective one for many of life's challenges. About apple cider vinegar-- I just use it in salads and sometimes in cooking. I like the taste. LOL about the idea of ANYONE fighting over ACV. tooooooooo funny!
Bee j Willingness is at the heart of it all. Oh My Goodness... that soup look divine. THx for sharing.
Becky Sorry that winds chased you inside. But I know you have worked out other options for those situations. I ended up making a huge vegetable egg scramble and stuffed half in a pita pocket. Thinking about cooking steel cut oats tonight.
Mj Am glad that you cleared that first hurdle and know what comes next. Praying that you will be in the best hands and for the best possible outcome. Nice that Toots had a Outback gift card to treat you both to lunch. (I like lunch out the best-- meals that I enjoy at a better price!)
Susi I can see why you cancelled that appt. Seriously--$170 just to tell you about the procedure! That's insane. My SIL has had one or more dental implants, but my brother makes a great salary & earns a hefty bonus. She had her jaw broken and moved over 30 years ago to help w/ her mouth/dental alignment. Apparently, whatever is happening now is still linked to the jaw issue.

Okey dokey
I can report that I have about 8200 steps logged.
Ya got laugh. . . all day my intuition was trying it's darnedest to give me a heads up. I finally got smart after the third--gotcha moment. When I arrived on campus, the lil voice in my head-- walk up the steps, then down the halls. So I added the 5 flights of stairs & hallways on each floor to reach my office. This led me to see a cancelled class notice for a colleague. As I read it, I just knew he was in the hospital. Had a niggling idea that I might be substituting for him. Then I shook it off. Later in the day, the Chair just stopped to chat. I got a mental image of him asking me to take one or more of my colleagues' classes. this week. But then he did not. As I walked to my car, my ESP sent the idea that it was a good thing that I have a very small batch of papers to grade. Why? Because I would be substituting for Fred. I said to myself-- "girl, give it up since I was mentally calculating the extra money."
So... as I was leaving Aldi's, no surprise, our adm. asst. called for the Chair and asked me to teach for Fred tomorrow. he's in the hospital. Dropped my groceries off, drove back to school to pick up the textbook & his syllabus so that I could guess where he is in the course. As I was driving, my intuition said that my chair would ask me take on more classes. At that point, I stopped arguing w/ my little voice.
Got a call to that effect while I was driving.
So now I am filling in for Fred on W, TH, and F. Came home-- and my spider sense was still tingling-- the message was that there's a glitch that you better discover. Otherwise, you will walk into the classroom totally unprepared for something about which student will want answers.. Believe me__ I said I am listening! You have my attention, Discovered that Syllabus states that there is 100 point quiz scheduled for W & TH. At least I know that and can tell the students in 3 different classes that is postponed until Fred returns. So I will not look like a boob tomorrow. Or at least not for that reason!
He's teaching about the New Deal. I am off to review my notes on the N Deal. Fred probably will not like how I handle the material. I will spend a considerable amount of time examining the CCC,

June Wow when it rains it pours doesn't it?Prayers all will go well.
I actually did get my whole walk in.It was just windier than I would have liked on the way back home.I do have my recumbent bike but it's been getting harder to get in a full session on because I think it's on it's way out.So I will be shopping online for another one.I figure that would be less expensive than another round of x-rays and gel injections for the knee.I also have flat feet(just found out a couple of yrs ago)and that may be contributing to my knee pain while walking.

(((hugs))) June. Just what you need...more on your plate. Becky good luck in replacing your recumbent bike. Hope you find something that is more suitable and comfortable for you at a good price. Well, I did get out for a short hood walk. I was sitting down reading and just getting bummed out so I put on my coat leashed LuLa, called for Carl and off we went Now it's time to relax. Again, thanks for all the moral support.

I do have a question for those of you who are maintaining under goal on freestyle.Do you eat all your maintenance points every day or do you let some points roll over?

Becky I let my scale be my guide. If it's a special occasion I will dip into them. To me it's a balancing act. I almost never eat my fitpoints.

Ann, I’m glad the dentist found the infection and hope you feel better. La Donna, hope the taxes are straightened out. I have a post it by the coffee pot that says ACV, honey and stevia June, I am so sorry you have additional teaching responsibilities. Just what you don’t need. Definitely don’t worry about the other teacher’s thoughts on how you teach He should be glad someone is teaching his class.
So my son calls at four to say he and the boys would like to come for dinner tonight because his wife is going out with the girls.I am in the process of dropping off two meals. One is for a woman who lives nearby this has been died recently of a massive stroke. The other is for my daughters friend whose husband is still in the hospital in Argentina. She lives across town.So I told my son don’t you dare show up before 6 PM because I have to do the clutter the house for the boys for two loads of laundry and relax for 15 minutes or so.Today was the massage then CVS and the grocery store and then eating a fast lunch before I went to Leo’s school, doing two loads of laundry still not put away, and delivering those meals. I could probably fall asleep soon but I’m off to get ready for the boys and I’m sure they will all have a great time.I told Rob to pick up Middle Eastern dinners for him the boys and my husband and I would make my own meal that I had planned. I will reimburse him for his expenses, Awesome soup Bee, and I wish I had some now
