There is a book called "Salt Sugar Fat" by Michael Moss that discusses bliss point and how the food industry works hard to get the right bliss point for the foods they push, usually by adding the 3 ingredients in the title. Salt Sugar Fat

Salt Sugar FatYes, I found the book interesting, too; although he kind of beat it to death by repeating the same info over and over. Most interesting was how experts in bliss point science hire out as consultants to food companies and restaurants. In addition to food product addiction, there is a reason that we feel compelled to overeat at many restaurants and have the urge to go back over and over.
