First of all, Happy 1st day of Spring !!!!
Now, we are going to make one more trip over to our favorite grocery because they got in a whole dairy case full of dairy and dairyish or dairy like items. Milks, plant based milks, yogurts, cheeses, you name it, they got it and you can pick one !
Tell us what you would pick (all zero points again) and then give us an idea of a meal you would prepare with some of the items that you picked this week as your absolute must haves.

Holly, I can open the email and see the picture, but I can't figure out how to paste it here. When you hit the reply button on this page, one of the choice above where you type is an "insert image" box, but it wants a hyperlink to the pic.
Do you want to share what it says ?

* potatoes and eggs * bulgur and whatever veg I said or with wild greens * lemon/citrus on greens

I would pick milk. I'll be back later to post what kind of meal I'd make. I have to go in to town this morning so I need to get ready and get going.

What dairy to pick ? My first thought is greek yogurt. Pretty versatile and what I use for sour cream and smoothies and to just eat. I think I will stay with that.
So much choices for the week were eggs, potatoes, cabbage, blueberries and now yogurt.
I will make a frittata from my eggs and add some sauted cabbage. Fried potatoes and yogurt topped with blueberries will round out my meal.

I'd pick yogurt for a dairy.
As to what I'd make with beans, corn, apples, potatoes and yogurt...
Hmmm...Right off I can see a baked potato topped with the yougrt (instead of sour cream). I'd think some sort of dish could be concocted with beans and corn (I might need to borrow some tomatoes from a fellow island dweller) and I suppose a crispy apple would round off the meal.

My dairy would be rf shredded cheddar and colby.
So meals using eggs, rf cheddar, broccoli, tangerines, and sandwich slims will keep me satisfied. Thanks for a fun week Jan.

Oh, how long have i yearned to drink a tall glass of cold milk, whole milk of course, so whole milk is what I will take with me!!
I took a chicken with me, I hope she is giving me eggs, I will never kill her for food, I will keep her around for company & entertainment. I have bananas, bread , milk & potatoes, what else could I possibly need? This has been much fun to think about.

So, for a meal I'd make a dish with rice, beans, and sugar snap peas. I could make mashed potatoes with the milk, and have an orange for dessert.
