Thought I'd jump start us. Feeling much better and decided to come in and say 'hello'
Tomorrow I plan on having another good OP day just like today. I also scheduled a mani/pedi for later in the day. We'll take our time getting there and stop at BJ's on the way home.
Will pack a lunch as I don't want/need to go to a fast food joint. Have some nice turkey from the turkey breast we had so I'll make sandwiches.
Hope everyone remembers to look at the full moon tonight on the equinox. Last time a full moon fell on the equinox was 19 years ago. I just LOVE the moon
Wishing all sweet dreams and a wonderful Thursday.

Ann, enjoy that mani/pedi. Yes, take your time doing all you wish to do.
I am off to babysit early tomorrow --- it is Thursday. LOL
Continuing my quest to be willing to be WILLING and AWARE. We have a week of low to high 70's, so I will be in and out and drinking more water.
Hope AWF have a great day!

Sadly it is too cloudy to see the full mood in all its glory. I am having cable issues and they will get a scathing phone call tomorrow. I can't wait for vacation next week!

Susi I'm sorry it's too cloudy to see the moon.It is absolutely beautiful.I hope your cable gets fixed sooner than later.
We will be going into town to pick up some prescriptions I needed refilled.I need to take a couple of things back to Walmart so we may do that while we are there.
I am willing to be OP again, hydrate and get in some kind of exercise if my knee will cooperate.

Popping into to say, rest well my friends. Have finished up w/ my preparations for the substituting gigs. Had to tweak my presentation materials-- so that I could condense it for the two, 75 minute classes on Thursday and stretch it out for the second 50 minute class on Friday. (Each section meets for 150 minutes a week. The MWF section meets for 50 mins. Each class. The T TH sections meet for 75 minutes). Think I will be aokay. FOund some interesting tidbits to insert about the New Deal's second flurry of legislations. Bee j-- am talking about Huey Long, former La gov & senator. He proposed a populist program "Share Our Wealth." Just last year, a La. newspaper published a story that claimed he was not assassinated. Instead, a stray bullet from him sub-machine toting body guards killed Long. Interesting account. I will qualify it as allegedly since I have no time to verify the story. Students might find it interesting. Am going to brush my teeth, then head to bed. I need to run off a writing exercise for my regular class, since my voice will need a break by the time I teach that third class! Will have water, peppermints, and a fizzy Vitamin B12 energy to get m ethrough the day. W/ luck, my colleague will be back on Mon. . Next stop is WWII, nad I have always been far more interested in WW I.

Ann, I am glad you are feeling better. Enjoy your mani/pedi and lunch. I know what you mean about fast food joints. My friend who is the rabbi's wife and I are going to lunch with her 2 year old next Wednesday. It was hard to find a restaurant where a woman who will only eat Kosher meat who does not want to spend a lot can eat and I hate Deli Delicious which is IMO a poor man's Subway. I came up with Bobby Salazar's Mexican Restaurant and she can have a plain or a vegetable quesadilla, large enough to share with the baby. Who doesn't like a grilled cheese on a hot flour tortilla. She thought it was a great idea. Bee, enjoy your babysitting. Susi, I just talked Comcast into bringing my bill back down to the level I paid last month instead of $30 more as they tried to charge me. At least the guy did not ask if I wanted their phone service. They are our only good option for tv and High Speed Internet. Becky, I hope your knee feels better and you get your errands done. Neighboring Tulare County is under a flash flood warning but we just got intermittent showers. June, that is a lot of last minute prep for you to do for those classes. June, what interesting things you dug up on Huey Long. I have a minor in history. I have to take water and peppermints with me during the day. Our air quality is so bad I tend to have coughing fits. It's air, allergies and I don't know what. Tonight I volunteer at the antique show pre party. I bought Bob pork chops for $1.49 a pound to have at home. There is a glut of pork so the prices are so low. He was so funny because he wanted just two. I reminded him that he could freeze the rest, I ordered a tray of caravan sandwiches as my appetizer for the party. Caravans also called arams, an Armenian term, are rolled with ham or turkey, mayo and lettuce and tomato or other fillings in pita bread. I wanted to bring something that would fill me up. They are each about one inch thick. I will go alone because my neighbor's husband has not returned to Los Angeles where he runs a cleaning business. I have Pilates at 10, the first time since November if it is not cancelled, and at noon my neighbor and I are taking our friend Charlotte to lunch for her belated 70th birthday celebration . She had the party at the restaurant at the beginning of the month and on Saturday 10 women are going in a small limo to Bass Lake in the mountains for her girls party. She knows how to celebrate! At least the end of my week is less tiring than the beginning.

It's 43* and will stay in the 40s, with lots of rain and wind. <meh>.
DivaTaxi's done its morning run and MHMR is modified again. SonIL is WFH since MousekeTWO's fever spiked again last night. So I will go over at 8:30 AM to take the Mouseketeer to school.
Then I'll head to a WW workshop for 10 AM. I do plan to go on Saturday but I want to hear Suzanne's spin on the topic. She's got over 20 years as a leader/coach; Debbie-on-Saturday is brand-new.
We're going to pick up the Kressling's soccer gear sometime during the day, and Son#1 will reimburse us. We'll pick up the Kressling himself at 4 PM (after band rehearsal), and then Son#1 after that π§βοΈπ§.
MIssMouse & I are supposed to attend another presentation this evening but she will have to stay who-knows-how-late at the office. I will consider whether I will go alone.
Grocery run got done; picking up medScans got done. I froze my <aHEM> off last night at the soccer stadium; temps dropped and the winds really picked up.
Still need coffee... still trying to take the chill off... βοΈβοΈβοΈ...
ππ§βοΈπ§ππ§βοΈπ§π Have a healthy-eating day, all! ππ§βοΈπ§ππ§βοΈπ§π

June, never heard that that I remember. Always heard a doctor killed him. He was killed before I was born. All the old folks say he was silver tongued. We still have bridges built under his and O.K. Allen's administration. My state is known for crooked politicians --- and it seems the more crooked, the more loved by the folks. LOL Here is an article, but I haven't read the whole thing yet. www.hueylong.com/life-times/assassination.php

Good morning, Got breakfast planned and that's it. Jayleigh is coming over after work for pizza night - Not sure yet if I'll have some or go in a different direction. Depends on what I decide for lunch. Hope to get another walk in today. Ann, very smart of you to pack your food. I tried to look at the moon last night but it was cloudy. I could see it behind the clouds though and it had the whole yard illuminated. I hope it will be more clear tonight. Enjoy your day! Bee, I'm getting to where I don't trust ANY politicians. Hope the baby sitting goes well. Susi, hope u get the cable straightened out. I know you are excited about vaca! Becky, take care of that knee. sounds like it needs a rest. June, sounds like you've brought everything together successfully for the classes! Great job! Audrey, great buy on the chops and happy birthday to your friend Cathy, I could have written the sentence you just wrote...why oh why? MJ, sorry about the cold nights at the ball field. I can relate. Do they have anywhere you could plug in an electric blanket

Ann - That a good plan to take lunch with you. Enjoy your mani/pedi now that you are feeling better. Bee - Enjoy the time with the kids and thanks for the link. Becky - Maybe you should get your knee checked out before it gets worse? Good job on the prep work June. My goodness, you have a lot going on Audrey. Enjoy pilates, lunch and the auction. Saturday also sounds like a lot of fun! That's a great buy on the pork chops! You've got this Cathy. MJ - Maybe keep some extra warm stuff in Amazin'Grace for this changeable time of year? I fortunately have a good group because the topic was definitely not interesting for someome in long term maintenence. LaDonna - Enjoy the time with Jayleigh. I would plan lunch around having that pizza! Hope you get your walk in. It's way to raw here to walk. Cable has been straightened out and I found that I can troubleshoot right from the remote if I need too. And they are crediting back the channel I didn't order. Tonight I am joining DGF and family at her church for Soup Supper and Service. Saturday will be spent in NYC for brunch at a nice Italian restaurant and then the show Cher. Carol still doesn't know about it. Sunday I will focus on cleaning and packing and a mani. Since my flight is so early Tuesday morning, I opted to do a park and fly at a nearby hotel. I'll drive up Monday night after work. DGF very kindly volunteered to spend a few nights with the furkids to make it easier on my sister as she is working full time plus the planning for the Annual Charity Ball on April 13th. I pretty much don't do fast food but on the very rare occasion I do, it's Taco Bell soft tacos al fresca
