Audrey Thanks for the warning.I have seen 2 ortho surgeons in the past 3-4 years and both said knee replacement wasn't necessary yet. However after I walked this afternoon I did make an appointment for Monday with my NP to at least get the process started for injections. My right knee is the worse as it also hurts in the back of the knee and I guess I overcompensate and now my left(better of the 2)started with a dull pain.I did buy some arthritis orthotics this morning and so far they help the associated ankle pain I had been having.
Susi Thanks. This isn't the first time it has acted up.I know it's osteoarthritis and I won't be able to straighten my knee out until I get a knee replacement if I can get a surgeon to decide it's time for the replacement surgery.I have heard so much good and bad info on the surgery and my last ortho surgeon agreed about the good and the bad so hopefully I will be referred for another injection.Cortisone no longer works so I will have to wait for Medicare approval once I get a referral.I am glad your cable is straightened out and you can troubleshoot from your remote.Enjoy the soup supper at church tonight.
June I am glad you survived the back to back teaching gig.

LaDonna enjoy your time with Jayleigh with or without the pizza I would go for it, but then again I absolutely LOVE good pizza! Becky same deal with Carl and his knees. One surgeon told him to have both replaced. When he went to a different surgeon and had the xrays done he said that they were not in need of replacement and all he did was have them scraped out. At times he is in pain, but not enough to have him go to a doctor. Good luck with the NP. I think that's a good way to go. Susi how nice of your DF to offer to spend time with your fur kids. I'm sure they will enjoy having the company If I lived closer I would do the same. Happy your cable issues are a thing of the past. yeah June on surviving the back to back teaching! You rock Well, I am all beautiful LOL..well fingers and toes anyway. Kathy and I had a good chat also. Such a sweet girl. Traffic was totally insane. Someone came to a dead stop on the highway....sheesh...talk about white knuckles!!!!! I'm glad that I am home and jammified I did take one short hood walk earlier and that's it for me for today. Pam I'm sure you are 'in the blue' Will try to CBL...if not catch ya tomorrow

Okey dokey..... Am soooooooooooo glad to put this busy day to bed. Was nice to have several students in the US 2 thank me for teaching the material in a way that was clear, informative, & interesting. Made my day. Even nicer that one of those students was an education major, while another one was a history major. I substitute for one more class this week, and then, who knows. W/ luck, my colleague will be back to work. My Chair asked, however, if I could be prepared to start w/ WWII just in case. We will see. I have a plan in place.
Was able to spend more time visiting w/ my mom this afternoon. Much nicer visit than than quick in/out on Weds. before I dashed off for R's appt. w/ a hand specialist.
I am 100% happily jammified! Unless I decide to grade a few papers, I can just piddle tonight. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Ann Am always so impressed that you pack a healthy lunch or snack when you head into the city for a few hours. Hope that the pampering was relaxing.
Thx for the reminder about the full moon. A 11:30 pm, the moving cloud cover parted so that the moon appeared to flow into view and then hung in the night sky like a radiant white globe. Very intriguing and beguiling.
Audrey Yes, your friend really is doing up her 70th birthday right! Celebrations galore! Yum.... melted cheese in a pita pocket.... 'nuff said! What a great option for lunch. Ha ha ha ... my DH would be just the opposition. Let's buy an entire pork loin, because it's on sale. I sometimes buy a nice pork at 1.49 then cut my own thick, lean center cut chops from the middle. And then have two roast left from the ends.
Bee j Hope you enjoyed the babies. How is the potty training coming along? Exactly-- that is what made the story interesting. Long was somewhat of a snake charmer. The Bayou Brief carried the alternative story in April 2018. Allegedly, Weiss punched LOng in the face. LOng's bodyguards let a hail of bullets fly, killing Weiss. A bodyguard's stray bullet hit a wall and ricocheted fatally injuring Long. The bodyguards planted a throw away pistol by Weiss's body. Interesting twist on an old story. Long was charismatic, certainly. I told my students that if he had ever a a moral compass, at some point he threw it an the ground and stomped on it. Kids seemed to like the story.

Cathy Ha ha ha... yes when you can answer that question, plzshare! Regardless. Give yourself credit for the string of days when you were OP and the willingness to eat healthy now.
Susi Grrrrrrrrr..... I find it annoying to have cable problems, unauthorized charges, and a steadily increasing bill. Good for you! Glad that you got everything squared away. So nice that you are going to see C H E R. What a blast! We sometimes stay overnight near the airport and leave our car at the hotel. Makes sense if the flight is early in the morning. So less stressful.
Becky Sigh.... sounds like the condition of your knees are in that "gray area." I do not know if that is good or bad. Hope that you can keep the pain and inconvenience to a minimium as you look into your options at this point. Kudos to you for being asactive as you can be despite everything. You could just as easily give yourself a pass, but you do not.

I enjoyed the babies.
Yep, Long was a colorful character.
Termites have been discovered on the other side of the duplex I live in. Got to start packing stuff in case they are on my side also. A carpenter was replacing the floor in the hall.

Mj Oh no.... your poor lil one. Being feverish a second stinks. Sort of sounds like what I had before break. Hope your DG child soon feel safe better. I hate to be cold. My Escape has an old quilt and two cotton hospital blankets in the hatchback. I would have likely made a cocoon for myself!
LaDonna Love that your own lil the of sunshine came to see you. Does my heart good to think about the joy that she spreads.
Bee j yep! I did point out how Long took on big oil and improved the lives of ordinary people. Yup on the termite threat. Can you lay down a protective barrier of repellents?
My sick colleague has an office that belongs on a show about hoarders. As I was inside it, I kept praying that it did not have bugs. Seriously, the floors of his office are carpeted w/ paper. There is only one small, heavily stain, open space, on a short file cabinet where he can sat a coffee cup. Otherwise, two desks and the top of the cabinet are covered with paper. Mercy!
Pam Hope your day went as plan and you add another blue dot to your string!

We did it! Lily Belle and I walked 1 3/4 miles today through the country club and circling to home. She is sleeping π I saw a lady leaving the golf course whom I havenβt seen since our children were in elementary school. We decided we both look the same π

June so happy that this busy day is a thing of the past. Glad that you are 'jammified' Me too! Feels great to just lounge around. I'll be in bed early tonight as I am way past tired! The pampering felt great. I never leave home without a snack (or two) lol. Not fond of getting hungry and heading to a fast food joint. Oh no, Bee. I hope the termites don't invade your home! Awesome to you and LB for taking the walk and running into a long lost friend Yeah Pam for KOKO. Time for me to check emails and then sign off.
