Chele Thanks for the start.
Everyone must be busy.
It was too beautiful not to walk this afternoon.I had bought some arthritis orthotics for my shoes and it helped the associated ankle pain I've been having but not the knees.I have made an appointment with my NP for Monday to get a referral for injections and then as Linda knows wait for the Medicare approval after I get the referral.
Have a good day all.BBL.

Hope you get approved quickly
We got a saline spray with moisturizing agent that is highly recommended last week through Amazon, I think Walmart carries it...Rhinase.They also make a tube if gel for dry noses
More laundry, long dog walk , and trip to Lowes for carabiner clips to attach jacket grippers to our carry on luggage. it is a clip-together strap that goes around your jacket or sweater, but the attaching opening metal circle was not wide enough to get around the luggage handle. It would fit brief case or tote or purse, So I found something bigger. I hate having to carry jackets while juggling purse and carry-on. and it easily unattaches from luggage to stow luggAge.
Off to dr to get gel shot three. I will do molds for orthotics after the trip to stabilize high arches, the walking , and to help slow down the knee deterioration. Medicare only covers them for diabetic feet. So it is out of pocket but needed.

Thanks for the start, Chele. When did Iggy roll in last night? Will he get to take off early tomorrow to make up for all the extra time he had to put in this week? Glad you finally got to use your Golden Buckeye card. TN doesn't have an equivalent but I wish we did. The Egyptian exhibit sounds very intriguing. Glad you enjoyed it. I didn't join a committee. I got asked to chair it, so more work than just being on it. But it's for a good cause. I cut back on my committees this year and this one should really be knocked out in 2 or 3 meetings, compared to the monthly meetings for the one I backed off.
Becky, good move getting with your NP to figure out what's going on. When will you get your new DVD player? What kind did you get? We got a Sanyo when ours gave out a few months ago and it's ok but the remote is a piece of you-know-what. Don't blame you for not wanting to stream. Same here. We do have unlimited internet from 2 to 8 am, so if there's something I want, I get up really early to watch it or get it downloaded for later viewing.
And, Kathy, it seems the River Song episode is on Amazon Prime, so I may watch it from there instead of trying to fast forward through what we recorded, since the remote seems to be having issues. If you've been to NO and would be "5th wheel" I can see why that might not be particularly appealing. At least you have the grocery trip out of the way for the week. I guess you'll be at DM's helping with her guests.
Liz, I'm amazed you are still at 90% occupancy. What's the deal with all these sick people? At least you had some sunshine and tomorrow is Friday. I hope everyone will leave you alone this weekend.
Did the lawn guys show up yesterday, Linda? You will definitely need your jacket in Vancouver, so it's good that you have a somewhat convenient way to carry it. I don't necessarily hate carrying a jacket, but I'm always afraid I will accidentally leave it somewhere. Hope the shot went well and that the upcoming orthotics will work well to take some pressure off your knees. I didn't have the foot problems that required surgery until I had been wearing orthotics for a couple of years, so I don't think I'll do that again. Not surprised about Medicare only covering them for diabetes. As little as they can get away with seems to be their motto.
Osteo went well and my numbers weren't as high as last time, but not bad. The Hydro Massage was very relaxing and I have an appointment for another post-Osteo next week. My back was sore from AF the other day and I think it helped a bit with that and the legs aren't as sore as they usually are. So well worth $20. Had a good bit of rain, some of it heavy, and it's still raining. We also had some thunder a few minutes ago, which I wasn't expecting because it's only in the upper 40s. We did have a pretty double rainbow that I'll have to download a photo of for my avatar. Got the grocery shopping done on the way home. It was nice to feel back to normal. Arya got us up at 4-something for a potty trip and I don't think either of us got back to sleep after that. We're going to call it a night early as a result. Over 13K steps today that wasn't intentional and I hope I don't pay for it tomorrow. Planning to keep a low profile and might just read.

Becky, I am glad you are having good weather for walking and hope the gel shot is approved quickly. Linda, I hope the gel shot went okay this afternoon and you stay off your feet tonight. You did enoightoday to deserve it. Good idea on the jackets. Karen mentioned she is afraid of leaving her jacket somewhere and I have done that before. Karen, I am happy you enjoyed your Hydro Massage and that the feet did well for you today. It’s good your committee chairmanship will be only for a short term. I like the new avatar amd look forward to the double rainbow. Iggy got in around 10 last night and went in around 9 this morning and got back at 5:30pm. I don’t think he will be getting any shortened hours. Kathy, I don’t blame you for not wanting to ride 5 in a car. It gets a little cramped. Your DM and aunts sound like a lot of fun though. I read that a lot of the spring break destinations in Florida are cracking down in the shenanigans like public drinking etc that the kids participate in. I hope your fam does not get in trouble in NO for being rowdy. Liz, almost FriYAY! I spent a lot of the day in the kitchen chopping veggies and roasting them and making veggie soup. I made a small tuna casserole for dinner and just sliced some tomatoes to go with it. The first time Iggy had tuna casserole was at my Aunt Esther’s house in Bunkerhill, Indiana and she had sliced tomatoes from her kitchen garden to go with it, so every time I make it I have to do the same.

Becky, it was beautiful here too and I took a long walk. I think it was the best day we've all this year so far. 72 degrees and sunny, but the only drawback was it was windy. Sorry the knee is still bothering you and hope the gel shots help. Linda, I'll have to check out the Rhinase since it sounds like it might help my sinuses. The driveways are yellow with pollen right now and the oaks are really dropping a lot of stuff everywhere. Karen, that's great that Amazon Prime has the River Song episode. It's a good one and I wish Capaldi had been more like that throughout. Wow on the 13K steps! Hope you're not sore tomorrow, but glad the Osteo went well. Chele, my aunts are a lot of fun. If you see three 90+ year old women on the news in NO for being rowdy, that will be them. Tuna casserole with tomatoes sounds delicious.
Liz, one more day!

Linda I hope your injection helps.I have flat feet and I think that may be contributing to some of my pain.
Karen I have to see my NP first before I can get a referral to an orthopedic surgeon for the injections. Then it will be who knows how long once I get in there for Medicare to approve injections.I ordered a portable DVD player. We can't get ours hooked up to our TV for some reason so I will just use this one for exercise DVD's.It should be here sometime tomorrow.I think our unlimited is only from midnight-3:00 AM and I'm not getting up during those hours to watch anything.I'm glad the Hydro massage helped. We have still been in the 40's in the mornings but up in 70's for highs and sunny. We may have some rain Friday night into Saturday but not much expected.
Chele I have never even had tuna casserole.I'm sure it was good.
Kathy We got up to 78 here today and a beautiful sunny day. This is one day we didn't have the wind.

Interesting...professional orthotics caused foot trouble? I had trouble with over the counter ones.
Medicare takes about a week to approve shots. Medicare advantage takes two!
Shot went well and knee is starting to feel better and interestingly other joints feel better when I have these. Doc says it does not stay in your knee..it encourages system to make your own.
Allegies, on the other hand ramp up immune inflammation that makes it worse. Joints are better with antihistamines on bad days.
Today was cleaning, getting stuff at Lowes, Tax refund to bank before I lose the check, Knee gel shot 3, and TJ's, dinner at P F Changs...not that fond of new menu. We were bad and each got an Easter treat at nearby Sees Chocolates. Early night. Alkergies are making us tired and grumpy.
