Skype is nice, though, Cathy. My daughter and I sometimes face time on our phones, especially when we want to show the other one something.
I don't have any special plans for the weekend, other than going to town this evening for Mass. Tomorrow my son should be coming, although he won't get here until fairly late. If I had a lot of choices, I'd probably go to some event with a friend. I don't think there is anything going on this weekend near by. Today it is mostly cloudy with a high around 50, but tomorrow there is a chance of snow with the high around 33. Tuesday it is supposed to get back up in the 50s.

Nothing special going on here for the weekend. Today is the Soup for Souls day. After helping serve lunch there, I will probably come home & take a nap before church this evening. Tomorrow, maybe some housework? The excitement never ends.

Weather is looking nice this weekend. It's just a bit above 40 now, but it's supposed to get above 50 yet today. Some rain possible tomorrow. I don't see any snow in the forecast, but it's still getting below freezing at night, so it could still happen.
We're going to go see a college baseball game this afternoon (artificial turf field..otherwise, it would be too wet and snow would not be gone). Volunteering tomorrow. Not sure beyond that. I'm planning to do some cooking for the freezer, so I'll likely do some prep work for that.
If I could do something else - I'd like to double the time available so i could do those things as well as do some crafting and reading too.

Services Saturday morning were spectacular! A visiting (well known) rabbi outdid herself! (I've been at services with her numerous times over the years; I first met her when she was in rabbinic school close to 30 years ago.)
Took a nap in the afternoon, watched movies with DH; has anyone ever seen Adam's Rib with Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn? It was made in 1949. I loved it!
Sunday I have a relatively full day planned. Services 9:00, tutoring one girl at 10:30, tutoring a boy at noon, meeting with someone (we're planning a women's event early in April) at 2, and talking with my youngest DGS at 3:30 (he lives in another state; we talk on the phone every weekend).
Would like to spend more quality time with DH. His hip replacement surgery was a couple of weeks ago, and he's been cleared to drive (takes a load off my time). We have satellite TV; one of the stations (Turner Classic Movies) plays really great classic movies. We've been recording quite a lot of 'em to watch at our convenience. Would love to watch one or two more Sunday afternoon/evening.
Weather: Saturday was the first day I wore short sleeves (and no jacket); sunny and warm expected during the day on Sunday.

Just staying home today, doing a little cooking for a dinner that I am helping serve tomorrow night. We are expecting a little rain, if it doesn't rain, I will either walk the dog or take him to the dog park. Either way, maybe I will get in a little exercise. Have to clean bathrooms today & a little laundry. Great day all!

Cathy - that's great news - a round of applause! Grateful for the the wonderful, sunny weather yesterday. The temps made it just into the 50s. I really enjoyed the baseball game, even though I was still bundled up in winter coat, stocking hat and so on. Sitting in the shade and a breeze, it was still chilly. Along with the volunteer event and food/cooking prep today, I'm working on some de-cluttering. The kitchen drain needed some work Saturday morning - plumbing/jet cleaning - badly clogged, so I had to move some things so they could access pipes, etc (could have been worse - just that one drain, not the main line to the street!). Sorted those things as I put them back and I'm motivated to tackle a couple of other cupboard areas.
