* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you realized how powerful your thoughts are you would never think a negative thought again.

I don't think we can unthink a thought and I do think that thoughts can be powerful BUT we are not our thoughts though our thoughts can impact who we are/become... I do try to think positively more than negatively and switch the negative to positive when I realize what I am doing...
I had to look up "thoughts" and "self" and see that it is a BIG topic.
BOB: I don't think you need to add Madagascar on a bike to your bucket list...I am sure there are much nicer places to ride your bike
KAREN: Falling is the pits! I am glad you are okay. I had to look up what you made that your husband loves...those cookies look delicious! What filling did you put in yours?
Okay...going to go out and walk six laps unless my knee tells me to stop but since I am thinking positive...six is in the forecast.

Karen: Hammentashen looks delicious Karen. Sorry ya tripped yesterday. I fell tripping over an "imaginary" object in a fun run one time. Never did find what it was. Glad your shoulder seems ok. WHEW!
Hmmmm. Not sure I like the way this quotation is phrased. I am not sure that we can completely control some at least fleeting negative thoughts and emotions. I agree that we shouldn't let them rule our lives. My dad discouraged negative thinking for sure.

I used canned Solo fillings rather than make them from scratch. Prune plum for most and cherry for the last couple of dozen. Finished last night. Sore, but I think I'm OK. Couldn't sleep last night either. Not sure why.
Yes, the topic of the power of thoughts is huge. Many of your quotes illustrate that in one way or another. Being positive is so important and catching yourself and changing the direction of your thoughts can make a huge difference in so many ways. "If you think you can or you think you can't, you're right" is one I recall which I'm not sure I wrote the way it was said and not sure who to attribute it to, but how we approach something can affect the outcome for sure. We make it so by thinking it will be OK, or not. It's helped me to embrace difficult tasks by smiling and cheering myself on and when I complete it or am successful I know it was because of the attitude shift. So very important. bob, I think it's important for us to recognize and identify where our negative thoughts and feelings come from. Sometimes they can be important red flags. I'd hate to think I had to deactivate my inner warning system to be a more positive person.
Only ate 1 cookie last night. QC, of course. Had to make sure they're OK for my peeps. I will bring some to my sister-in-law whose birthday is today. We are meeting her at an Irish steakhouse near her home. It will be a big midday meal so hopefully a very light supper. Have a great Saturday!
