WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (therefore acknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going

Good morning. I feel so on edge and nervous. I had some kettle corn last night to help calm myself, but of course all that led to was regret this mornjng, lol. Looking back on my week, I had some great food victories. I will focus on those instead.
The podiatrist was great. They took X-rays, which of course confirmed my plantar fasciitis. Iβm doing everything right, other than not stretching my calves enough. I did the walk test for orthotics, and when the company sends the estimate theyβll check with my insurance to see how much is covered. Iβm willing to pay whatever the cost is out of our HSA. He said my foot structure combined with my lifestyle is whatβs causing my pain, but said he wouldnβt tell me to change anything Iβm doing. I wouldnβt listen anyway ππ
Happy Saturday.

C40. D1. Got in some walks. A few feet of running ;-) And ate everything and anything I wanted, whenever I wanted. Scale up 3#.
It's so obvious to me that I don't check in when I'm not doing well.
Sigh... I'm going to work with a health coach, monthly, to reduce my work and life stress. And I fly out to a warm island on Friday at 5am!!
Do any of you use the WW app or on line program to do Simply Filling/ Core. I.e. not tracking? Just eating from the Core list? I did that 12 years ago and it worked. I cannot find that option on either the WW app or the on line version. Please help if you can.
Nancy - glad that the biopsy went well with no pain/bruising. Hoping that the results are just fine.
(((Jan))) what a hard with with all the testing and trying to motivate DS. Nice that the bit of chocolate didn't send you into an all out search for more. I hope the docs find a way to counter the pain. I saw a notice for a foot stretching workshops and looked into it. I didn't go, but have brought some of those techniques into my life. Like sitting in a meeting in a way that I'm streching the top of my foot. It feels good.
Lori - How. Do. You. Do. It? A pita pizza with a salad. I gave into my two 14 year old boys and for just about the first time in their lives, we had freezer pizza for dinner. I added extra veggies to both and one was a chicken/red pepper pizza. We also had organic salad greens with fresh pear. But as for the pizza - I ate. And Ate. And Ate. And Ate. Then I topped it off with a mini-soda - regular. I bet I drink one of those every 2 years. But something about that processed food made me crave the sugary pop. An UNVIRTUOUS Cycle!
So frustrated with myself. And today will be packing for vacation. Trying on swim suits (I have a range of sizes :-(
Thank you all for understanding.
It would be great to hear from Beth, EDESIA, Cindy, Meg, Louise, Jane, and all the old friends.
Take care all!!
Kathy

Kathy, just saw your post. WW no longer has the option of tracking simply filling/core. What I do is track only foods that have point value and stay at the low range. My daily points are 23 - so the lowest for me is 13. Ten points below Daily target. Hope that helps.
