Sunny and upper 80s all of a sudden! not used to that.
Up before six without alarm and boarding passes for before dawn pickup for airport printed with tsa precheck , yea! Boy, there is a lot of typing and checking of international documents just to go to Canada. Process took 15 minutes! And you pay for the checked bag at that point. Now I need to get out the meds, food, instructions, blankie that go with Micki for boarding this afternoon.
so off to art class.

Thanks for the start, Chele. Rain has not yet started here, but it won't be long. Mostly cloudy but mid 50s, so not real bad. I'm glad you were able to get everything taken care of yesterday. We may jettison our landline after Dale retires. We only got it because we didn't have great cell phone signal when we first moved here. That has changed in the past couple of years, however. I hope you were able to get a decent TV package. Is your internet unlimited?
Linda, good job getting up before 6 and getting the airport stuff done. I hope you'll be able to get some sleep tonight. I would be tossing and turning, afraid I won't hear such an early alarm. Early to bed! What time does it get dark there right now? Will you have to take Micki for boarding today, since you're leaving so early? How did art class go?
So sorry for UCF, Kathy. What a nail biter and I wish that last shot had gone down and the result would have been reversed. TN game went into OT but at least we ended up on top. They have had great first halves in the tournament but fizzle out in the second half, so I have my fingers crossed for Thursday, but there are no guarantees that won't be TN's last game. Have you heard from DM? What's on your agenda for the week?
I didn't think pollen should be so high this early in spring but I have been sneezing with itchy eyes since yesterday. Somewhat unrelated (I think) I have a rash on the back of my neck from ear to ear. It has to be some kind of contact dermatitis because otherwise it would be on other parts of my body as well. So I'm applying Cortisone frequently. I did my usual workout and have laundry in both the washer and dryer. With the afternoon's rain, this will be a good time to read.
Waving to Liz and Becky!

Linda, good thing you aren’t getting used to warmer temps. It will be cooler in Vancouver. Gone are the days when a driver’s license would get you across the border. It sounds like you have the males in your family prepared. Enjoy art class.
Karen, I woke up with itchy eyes and ears and comgestion. The tree pollen is already at the moderate level. I hooe your rash disappears soon. New laundry detergent? Has Arya shown any signs of allergies? We have unlimited internet and also unlimited data for the phones. The company used to pay for Iggy’s phone and now we will but we are still going to save 60 per month.
Kathy, sorry to hear that ATT is not offering a deal. A visit in person might help. Any news from NOLA?
Becky, is there a Marie Callander store in Austin? All I have ever seen are the frozen pies. My DN loves the banana cream pie. We have a pie store here that avoid like the plague. It is close to where we used to live amd they make the best lemon meringue pie. A nine inch screen is pretty good for a portable DVD. Mine is a lot smaller and it had a remote but who knows where that went.
Liz, I hope the hectic is taken down a notch this week.
Since it was raining, I did 4 loads of laundry and prepped for dinner. I did my workout but I am still not back to my 45 minute mark. So long to gain strength, so short to lose it.

Chele, it was overcast this morning, but the sun came out this afternoon and it's in the 80s. We'll have to try the in person visit to ATT when DM gets back. Karen, I hadn't realized until the game last night that UCF's coach used to play for Duke's coach. It was a tough loss. There was one stretch where they made a few mistakes and that wound up costing them. I think we'll be seeing some of those players in the NBA next year. No word from the travellers which I take as a good sign. Have you used any new soaps or shampoo/conditioner that might've irritated your neck? Interesting article on the author of Outlander: First Lady of LallybrochLinda, sounds like you're about ready for your trip. Not surprised on the security checks, but it sure is a pain.
Waving to Liz and Becky.

Thanks for the start Chele.
Linda Wow on upper 80's.We have gotten up to 81 the last two days but we are going back to low to mid 70's and a little cooler at nights.I hope you enjoyed art class.I hope you can get up early tomorrow without too much trouble and hope you enjoy your trip.It will definitely be cooler.
Karen They said tree pollen is early here also so maybe that's what you have although we are warmer.
Chele Tree pollen is already high here.I don't know if Marie Callender is still in Austin or not.It wasn't just a pie shop.It was a restaurant and they had the best pies. They also have frozen dinners for sale in the grocery stores here. That's a lot of laundry for two people.
I had my appointment with my NP this morning and she said because of my insurance plan I didn't need a referral. The problem was finding one who took my particular plan.None at the place I went to last year in Round Rock were on it but she found a couple of doctors in another part of Round Rock which we weren't familiar with at all.So I looked on Humana's website and found out the first ortho surgeon I went to in Bastrop(although he was a little forgetful then I think mostly because he's only at the Bastrop location once a week)is still coming there once a week so I have the initial visit with x-rays a week from Thursday. Then it will probably take another 2 weeks for Medicare approval and since the injections are so expensive and he is only there once a week he doesn't keep them in stock so he will have to order them again.
Since my knee was hurting more after the dr visit this morning I decided to stick with two rounds on the recumbent bike instead of walking on the road.Maybe tomorrow afternoon.I will see how it goes.

I went to art, started a new parrot painting and it just did not proportion right. I redid edges at home and will have to do a lot next class.
There. needs to . be a special place in Hell for insurance company people who make life hard or deny needs in the name of profits.
Did an errand, walked Micki, spent a lot if time with him, fed him early and he is now at boarding.Glad he likes them, but That just never feels good. Sure is too quiet here now. I plugged in light timers with right time and will plug the lamps into them in the morning. Not feeling very well...hope just allergies and /or nerves. I love being in fun places, just hate getting there. DH is getting easy microwaved teriyaki noodles.

Chele, I haven't had the congestion, but the itchy, watery eyes are about driving me nuts. I think I have had that more of that since Saturday than all of 2018. It also makes it a little more diffiicult to focus on reading. The rash cannot be from detergent because we don't use any. We have one of those ozone systems, so we also do not use any fabric softener. I also have not used any new soaps or lotions, so the rash and its location is truly a mystery.
Thanks for the Outlander article, Kathy. Very interesting. I didn't realize the author was a university professor. I'm sure that was a very tough loss for UCF. I have a feeling the stretch of mistakes may end up happening to TN on Thursday, as they had one of those in the 3rd quarter of the last 2 games. Yes, no news is good news from NOLA. They are probably too busy whooping it up to think about the folks at home. Haven't seen any reports about arrests in the French Quarter--yet.
Becky, maybe it is pollen causing my problems. It started raining mid-afternoon, so maybe that will knock down the pollen. Being on Medicare/Humana/UHC really limits our medical professional choices. It's good that you could get a closer ortho appointment than RR and relatively soon. Hopefully your approval on injections will come through sooner than 2 weeks.
Safe travels and have an amazing trip, Linda. I know what you mean about never feeling good to board them. It's good that he likes them there. That helps.
