Good morning all. Didn't sleep that well. My mind was in 'full race mode' and I'm sure y'all know how that can be. Judy good to see you. Enjoy your vacation Pam that is incredible......I'm sure you worked for that 5.2 weight loss. I shall check out that link later. For some reason my desktop is acting up once again. I also love garlic in my hummus. I use the chopped garlic and also garlic powder This time around I added crushed red pepper and the 21 Salute seasoning mix from Trader Joe's for an extra kick! Hope everyone enjoys a good Monday. Will try to CBL

Good afternoon!
Well, I had planned to get up and go to yoga this morning, but when the alarm went off at 6:45, I decided what my body really needed was sleep. I woke up 2 hours later and feel MUCH better. I have spent the morning catching up on household chores that didn't get done last week--cleaned bathrooms, washed shower curtain, cleaned and mopped kitchen floor and started laundry. I got word from a friend who is a handyman that he may be able to address some of our minor plumbing issues either this afternoon or tomorrow AM. Since one is a leaking toilet, I thought he might appreciate it if I cleaned where he needs to crawl around on the floor, lol.
We lost 4 hospice patients over the weekend, so I will need to go in and set up bereavement folders and services, but that can wait until tomorrow if necessary. I also need to make 3 visits this week. And I have a Senior Medicare Patrol webinar at 2:00 PM and Penance Service at church at 6:00 PM. I really need for things to slow down for just a bit, so I can catch my breath.
We have a partly cloudy 75 degrees today and our expected rain didn't materialize. I guess that means I'll need to water my newly-planted flowers today. I have quite a bit of clean up work to do outdoors before our big family crawfish boil on Good Friday. DH will also be boiling some on April 7 for DD2 and some of her out of town friends who will be spending that evening with us. That means I have a deadline to finish getting the renovated bedroom and the one that has been used for storage back in shape.
Ann, my 5 lbs. loss was over a month, not a week. And, sad to say, since Friday I have been "off the reservation" with my eating. I am reining it in today. I have been more active, so burned off a few more calories than usual, but not nearly enough to cover yesterday's indulgences at the Book Tea dessert table. Since I have the thing at church and DH has been invited to a men's prayer group (I am dumbfounded that my very non-religious spouse agreed to go!!) tonight, we have decided to eat leftovers for dinner. I'm not sure what's actually in the fridge, but will get it figured out and tracked.
Well, the dryer is telling me it's time to shift laundry loads again. Later!

Pam still 5# loss rocks. I had a very hungry day today so there will be no shock when I do my am weigh in lol.
So sorry for all the deaths you ate dealing with.
I am totally exhausted as I spent hours on the phone with AT&T. Hopefully it's all set.
Talk tomorrow.

Hello to AWF!
I made it up and into town in time for the 8:15 yoga class. Afterwards, I headed to the office to send out the sympathy cards and set up bereavement folders and mailing labels for the newly deceased. I sent pics to the handyman of the work we need done and he called and we made a plan to meet at a local hardware store to pick out new faucets and a showerhead, as well as other supplies he will need. I got one hospice visit in, picked out what I thought would work at the hardware store and opened an account so he could get the other stuff he will need. I got groceries and headed home about the time he finally got to the hardware store, but it all worked out. I hurried home and got some measurements he needed, sent them via text & photos and moved stuff out of the way so he could work. He got the showerhead replaced and fixed the toilet in the master bath and will come back in the morning for the kitchen and bathroom sinks, which will take longer. I was thankful to be able to use my dishwasher tonight.
I made potato salad, DH grilled ribs with a dry rub and we had sugar snap peas as a side. It was 7:45 by the time I got back from RCIA class to eat dinner and I was starving. I held it to 2 ribs, which were DELICIOUS, and tried to eat slowly. I missed breakfast and had a Kind bar and a banana for lunch after the hardware store visit. Not a super nutritious day, but I am proud that I stopped and considered and made the best choices I could.
Last evening, Callie, our little calico cat didn't come home when I called. Usually, she comes running when we rattle the treat can. I found her in the yard lying under a bush and had to crawl under and pick her up to get her in. I put out treats for both cats and she sniffed hers, walked past and climbed into her favorite box and stayed there. Later, she moved to a bed in the spare bedroom, but clearly isn't well. I fed her some hairball remedy and some wet food today, but she only licked a little of the gravy off. If she isn't better tomorrow, we will be off to the vet. I'm not so worried that she's not eating, but we haven't seen her drink anything and I am afraid she will dehydrate.
Ann, have you tried clearing the cache and history and rebooting? It sounds like your banner may be one of those scam things. I have had a problem with my ad blocker slowing down the browser. I delete it and add a different ad blocker and it works for a while, then I have to delete it and re-add the old one. Crazy!
I hope Judy is having a wonderful time with Mickey & Minnie & crew!
Sue - Hope your kids are measles-free! Sounds like MI is working toward an epidemic along with several other states. It is a shame. I think if those parents had suffered through measles, whooping cough, mumps and chickenpox, they would be in favor of vaccinations.

Good morning all. Yes Pam I've done that and I guess I'm just getting sick and tired of it. I'll post when I'm able LOL. I'm also in favor of vaccinations!
Wishing AWF a great Wednesday.

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
Happy Hump Day! I peeked in a couple of times but didn't have time to post anything. This week has been exceptionally busy for us. I went to Ulta this afternoon as they have their "20 Days of Beauty" special running and my Pur Mineral make-up was on 1/2 price sale today only - and I got 2 mascaras (B1G1 half off) and cashed in $9 in points I had accrued , so my entire purchase was only around $20 (outstanding!).
We are still having chilly mornings, with temps in the 20's. I am hoping it warms up soon. Today the sunshine is glorious, but it still is not as warm as one would hope. And it promises to cool down more this weekend. I have been communicating with our Child Care coordinator the past few days as they need extra hands for next week. I had already offered to sub again in the summer program (like I did last year) so they called to ask if I'd also do Spring Break week. I offered them two days and they chose Monday (8-4) and Friday (9:30-5:30). Both of those will work for me.
Pam ~ Thankfully we don't have any kids with measles (yet!) but the news reports are dire about the potential for an epidemic. Fortunately DH and I are not in the age group they are concerned about, but we are watching it unfold. Hope Callie is okay ...
Ann ~ Sorry your computer is causing your grief. I absolutely hate when that happens!! I am not a techy at all and usually prefer to take my computer to the shop (which is why I went to a laptop on my desktop).
Time for me to go check the news and then start supper. BBL. Make a great day!!

Good happy Thursday all. Sue we are having the same weather....cold in the a.m. and then it warms up. Yesterday during mid afternoon it was simply beautiful out there. Plenty of sunshine and no wind which made it pleasant to be out and about. I am also not computer savvy and that with having little patience doesn't make it a good fit to be on proboards. I do read but posting is another issue. My smartphone is fine, just hard to post on. I'll do what I can. Today we don't have anything on our agenda. I like having a 'free day' to do whatever You hit some great makeup deals. Waving to Pam and Judy. Judy I bet is having the time of her life. Will TRY to pop in and post later.

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
My work week is OVER!! It was a busy one. We had a Federal inspection one day, then a contingent of Japanese educators touring (and sitting in) today. They are interested in developing a program like our Head Start Program. All in all, it was just more hub-bub in the building. But now it's over (for the time being).
We were struggling with our school email accounts. My partner had called me because hers wasn't working and when I checked, mine wasn't either. We finally got to the bottom of it this morning at school, when we were able to change our passwords on the school network computer. Then our secretary returned and she knew what happened ..... seems someone opened a spam email & therefore computer services had to reboot the entire system. My first clue was when our principal said she had to reset her password this week too. Geez, it's always something .....
Last night we had the last of DH's VBF's venison pasta sauce last night over spaghetti squash along with a great salad. Tonight we are having leftover pork sirloin tip roast with sides yet to be determined. Tomorrow night we are going to Red Lobster for dinner and taking advantage of their "before 6 special" just for fun.
It is (finally!) in the mid-60's here so when I got home I cleaned the inside of the door wall windows and also the front and back doors and exchanged the screens & storms, so now I have some fresh air coming in. It will cool off before too long, so I only have a very few minutes to enjoy it. Tomorrow it is dropping to a high of 47 and Sat 39 and Sun 37. And so it goes in Michigan ........
I have tomorrow free, but I have some things around here that I want to get done. I never was able to cancel my Purple Heart Pick-Up for today, so I went downstairs and sacked up some bedding that I no longer use and a few other odds and ends, and put them out this morning - and they came!! I am slowly but surely getting rid of things that I have replaced. I plan to switch over to a brighter colored quilt tomorrow for April and May. I bought that quilt last year when I went to Frankenmuth with Red Hats for the Annual Red Hat Ladies Days (end of April) and look forward to shopping at their Woolen Mill again for perhaps another one this year. It isn't pertinent, but I would enjoy it.
Time to go figure out what we're having for supper with the pork sirloin tip roast.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Just got back home from running around. Picked up center cut pork chops that Carl will cook up on the grille for supper. We'll have sf applesauce french green beans and mashed potato. It's beautiful out there today. Started out cold and windy and now I am going to leash up LuLa (and Carl ) and take another hood walk. Take care, all. Taking a long time to get into the board to post. GRRRRR

Wishing all a happy OP day.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
TGIF!! Our beautiful Spring-like day yesterday was a breath of fresh air (literally since I opened some windows for the first time). Our weatherman said the last time it was this warm was in early October!! Nonetheless, we all enjoyed it very much and gave us a taste of what is to come.
Today is my do-whatever-I-want day and so far I have changed our bed (and top bedding) and started some laundry and paid some bills. Sheez ...... I really need to find something FUN to do!!
We decided to have noodles & gravy with oven-roasted broccoli & cauliflower last night and it was very good. Tonight we are going to Red Lobster for early supper, so I will eat light today. I also plan to get on the exercise equipment downstairs even if only for a few minutes. Tomorrow I am going Red Hatting, so will need to get a hat down to wear and (at least mentally) put together an outfit. It is one of our more casual ones, lunch at Ruby Tuesday (salad bar!) so not much is needed.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Just a quick good morning before I get that dreadful yellow bar. Taking LuLa to the vet for her shot and then we have the entire day to ourselves I like that. We were going to get together with friends, but it won't happen as he is not feeling well. Sue your day today was like mine yesterday. I also paid bills and did laundry. I think we both need something FUN Will try to pop back in later if the computer gods are on my side.

I have not clue what Carl did to my computer, but it appears that the problems I had are now a thing of the past!!! Crossing fingers that it won't come back anytime soon.
We went to the Vet and came home for lunch. Started out for a 'hood walk'...got as far as the end of the driveway and the sky opened up! Luckily it happened then rather than while we were out and about. So, I guess I won't be getting a walk in today.
Tonight I'm going to throw together a tuna noodle casserole. No real recipe LOL...I'll just add as I go.
Take care, all!
