Hi Ann ~ I am so glad you got rid of the yellow bar that was troubling you! Sometimes a fresh set of eyes can spot the problem. Aren't helpful husbands just the very best!?! I so appreciate mine!
Tuna noodle is one of our favorites. Definitely a comfort food from childhood for both of us. I use elbow macaroni (whole wheat) and a can of FF Cream of Mushroom soup and a can of tuna and half can of LeSueur peas. Talking about it made me hungry for it - so maybe next week?? Tonight we are getting ready to go to Red Lobster for our "fish fix". I also bought a can of red sockeye salmon last week as I used to eat (and make) salmon patties when I was younger. I had asked DH if he liked them and he does, so that is on the future menu as well. Glad you discovered the rain before you got too far from home!
I did some exercise on my Power Rider today as well as a full set of stretches and a lot of my stiffness is gone! The hot shower afterward helped even more. Now I am all doodled up to go out. My DH was home, but had to go back out to take some stuff to his Shop and then come back. I'll be ready, and he is much quicker than I am so no worries.

LOL Sue the only thing I did differently was I used shells and added cheese to mine. It was very good and yes, 'comforting' It stopped raining long enough for us to take a little hood walk. Wasn't very pleasant as it was too damp out there for me. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Great job on the exercises, Sue. Yes, DH's are very handy and I also so appreciate Carl Sleep well all.

Happy Saturday ladies So far it's not raining and the temperature is 41! I'll take it. We have a few in town errands to do today. Other than that, nothing much on the agenda. I do plan to 'hood walk' providing it doesn't rain. Will pop in later.

Happy Saturday Morning, WW Friends ~
We woke to pouring down rain and temps in the high 30's but at least now it has stopped raining. Last night I stuck with my plan and had the seafood stuffed flounder (lunch portion) and was very pleased. I need to rein it in some as my waistlines are getting snug and now is NOT the time for that!!
I was up and out early this morning. I had planned to go shopping at Kohl's and take advantage of a spring sale as well as a couple of special offers (15% off and $10 off on >$50 in women's wear). I had a $50 gift card from DH from my January birthday, so today was the day. It was a slow start when I took an armful of pants into the fitting room and nothing worked for me. But I found another armful and it was exactly the opposite! I came home with three new pairs of capris in colors I don't already have and newer styles and only spent $22 on my credit card. On the way back home I stopped at Office Max and picked up a new black ink cartridge for our printer (getting low) and then some essential oils at BB&B. I had a $5 coupon as well as a $20 gift card, so my purchase only cost me a dollar and some change. It was all in all a very successful morning!! I love when that happens!!
I am planning to meet my Red Hat group for lunch at Ruby Tuesday in a little while. I am glad all my shopping and errands are done, so after lunch I can just come home. I started a new book yesterday and read some while watching the MSU basketball game and I am looking forward to reading some more this afternoon. Good plan for a cold rainy afternoon.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Sue so happy that you scored bargains at Khol's. Our rain ended yesterday. Now the sun is trying to come out. It popped out for a second or two. Hopefully it will make it all the way out to stay. I could use a nice sunny 'hood walk' to brighten up the day!
Enjoy your luncheon with the Red Hat group and also your reading.
Will try to pop in later on.

Good morning, happy Sunday and happy 'last day of March'. This month just seemed to fly by. Looking forward to April and being closer to more spring like weather I just plugged in the crock pot. Cut up my veggies last night and this a.m. all I had to do was add the meat put the cream of mushroom soup with water and a half packet of Lipton onion soup on top and supper will be served around 5:00 ish. Quick and easy and I'm all about that these days. Yesterday I walked my fool feet off. Clocked in over 18,000 steps! It was so beautiful and a lot of people were 'out and about' in our retirement community and we were all chatting and walking our dogs together Made for a nice day. Not sure what's on the agenda for today......but it won't involve that many steps! Waving and wishing all a great and peaceful Sunday. Looking forward to hearing all about Judy's trip!

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Sunday!! We had snow overnight It was supposed to be "just a dusting" but there is a ground cover on the grassy areas. YUK! I could really have lived without that!! Our predicted high today is only mid-30's but up to mid-40's tomorrow and mid-50's the next couple of days. I'll wait and see ......
My lunch out with my GFs was fun. I ordered the 3 sliders special which included salad bar - and afterward I wished I had stuck with just the salad bar (which is what went for). The sliders were a disappointment in every way. I had them in the past and they were good but not yesterday.
DH and I had planned to have salad and pizza last night. He had a completed punch card for Jet's for a free small pizza. We ended up ordering a large and a small and then freezing the small and half of the large. Now we once again have pizza in the freezer for when the mood strikes. He also stopped and brought home DQ blizzards which we enjoyed while watching TV last night.
We caught up on a new show called "The Village". The ads looked good and then someone at school told me they watched it and enjoyed it very much. It airs at 10 p.m. which is past our bedtime; so we will use it as a filler for days when nothing is on that we want to watch. Since we have been following The Voice, and consequently miss a couple other shows (including 911) so we catch up on them on the weekends as well.
Today we are meeting a Retrouvaille couple (who we are mentoring) for lunch. They knew of a specialty place some distance away and the menu sounds delightful! I am glad we are going at noon so I can get back home in time to get ready for tomorrow and still watch the MSU basketball game this evening.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Back from picking up what I forgot to get yesterday. Sheesh, I'm so happy that I bother to make a list...only to forget it at home! I went out yesterday without my purse which I hardly ever do. Luckily we made it back before the rain. We are in for rain today...then it's going to clear up. Sue YUK to the snow! I mean the ground is warm and all that, but like you said you could live without seeing that!!!!! Sorry about your slider fiasco. Sometimes it all depends on who is doing the cooking. Glad you got your pizza and have some frozen for leftovers. Nothing better than being prepared Have fun catching up on your fav programs. We are thrilled that they are coming out with season 2 of Castle Rock. Especially seeing as season 1 was filmed one town away from us Also have fun mentoring and having lunch out! I have lots of time on my hand, seeing as the crock pot is loaded and on and our supper will be done at 5:00. I did plan on taking a short hood walk, but I'll wait till the sun comes out. I don't want to get caught in a downpour. Take care, all and will try to CBL. If not see y'all tomorrow!

Hello to all! Once again, time got away from me and I haven't posted since Tuesday. Wednesday was full with the handyman working all day. I had to leave for a credit union meeting before he was done, so DH settled up. It was about $1000 with labor and parts, but I didn't care. I am SO happy to have it all done!!! I was elected chair of the board at the credit union meeting, mainly because no one else wanted the hassle, lol. We had a nice dinner out and I stuck with 1/2 of my chicken parm entree with aspargus on the side. Callie seemed to be over whatever was bothering her and began eating and behaving normally again, thank goodness. Thursday I was up and out early to clean at church, did 2 hospice visits and then hurried home to meet the cable guy. We were unable to get our PBS channel and he decided we needed a new cable box. That turned out wonderful as we now have HD channels at no extra cost. If I had known that I would have called sooner. I skipped yoga so we could go to Anna's volleyball game, only to find out the game was pushed back and I probably could have gone to class and still made it in time for the game. Oh well! They only won 1 of the 3 games, but it is exciting to see how much their skills have grown this year. Friday after adoration, we packed up and headed to the camp. We were happy to find the neighbor mowed our lawn. He came over to tell us he has been practicing with his new zero-turn mower. We thanked him profusely and told him of our push mower problems--the one at the camp died, so we decided to bring the one from home, since we now have a lawn service. Unfortunately, after a year of sitting without use, it wouldn't start, so DH took it to the repair place where it sits until they call us. We did some shopping and then headed to the casino for the seafood buffet. We went extra early, since it is Lent and the line gets long. We didn't have to wait at all and enjoyed our Dungeness crab very much. Saturday DH dropped me off for a pedicure and did some shopping and picked up shrimp. We peeled and headed the shrimp which will be grilled for an appetizer next weekend. DD2 is bringing out of state guests to stay overnight Sunday and DH is boiling crawfish for them. We thought the shrimp appetizer would go well with that. After a nice long afternoon of reading and napping, we went back to town and had draft beer at our favorite little hole-in-the-wall, the Ugly Pirate. When we returned home, DH grilled sausages for poboys while I made Hot Crash Potatoes and a salad and green beans. I finished my book before bedtime. This morning we had leftover sausage in scrambled eggs with toast and grits for breakfast and then packed up. Madison called to face-time on our way home, so we heard all about the snow in MI. Madison says it's time for the snow to go away so the flowers can "wake up and grow". Now we are home and unpacked, with hamburgers planned for dinner. I decided to go to 5:30 PM Mass here instead of going to early Mass on the coast. I much prefer my pastor's homilies to the Indian priest's at the church near the camp, who is very hard to understand, especially if he has recently visited India. I will go to bible study at 4:00 and just stay for Mass afterwards. Ann - I'm glad to hear Carl worked some magic on your computer! 18,000 steps is awesome!!! Sue - How nice of you and DH to take another couple under your wings! I am sure you are a blessing to them. We watched the MSU basketball game Friday, but didn't enjoy it much, as LSU got beat. Well, now I can pull for MSU, also DSIL's favorite team. Judy - If you're peeking in, hope you're having a blast!

Ann ~ I know all too well the frustration of discovering my shopping list has been left at home. I now keep my lists in my phone, so it is always with me; especially since they closed our close Sam's Club and the other one is 15-20 minutes away. When I find myself in that neighborhood, it is handy to be able to look at what I need from there. Hope you got your walk in. Your crock pot supper sounds good. We have an abundance of frozen chicken breasts and tenders, so need some new recipes for crock pot chicken.
Pam ~ Good to hear from you. YES, we had snow! and it has continued to snow off and on all day. It really IS time for it to be done now!! You have also been busy. We are getting ready to watch the MSU game tonight. We just finished watching the Auburn game and I am getting really close to being tired of basketball!! Good news that Callie is feeling better!
We had a great time at lunch. The young couple recently attended a Formation Weekend for our Retrouvaille community and brought us a copy of their couple's introduction that they wrote while there. They are going to be a very welcome addition to our community! We also enjoy them very much on a personal level, and it seems to be mutual. We met them when they attended a Post Session we presented on Conflict Management, when they were still struggling, and they quickly bonded to us. They already reminded us about scheduling our next get-together. We all enjoy going out to eat and midday on weekends works for us because the hubby works nights. The restaurant was called "Anna's House" and had a very different menu including a lot of vegan and GF entrees - breakfasts and lunches, etc. We all had something different and enjoyed it very much.
We are planning to have turkey burgers (from the freezer) tonight with chicken noodle soup. I am thawing out the remainder of the Chicken Parm we were gifted with to have tomorrow night. I am working 8-4 so don't expect I will want to cook when I get home. That can just be set into the oven and warmed up.
I finished my second book this afternoon - and had to download a new one from Amazon plus I found one in my library that I haven't read yet.
Make a great evening!!

Pam so good to see you. As always you are a busy lady Glad you got a mani/pedi in. I love that pampering Sue I'm reading book 2 in a James Patterson series. This one is called Fifty Fifty. I never did get out to walk outdoors as it was misting all day. Now it's stopped but I'm already jammified. I house walked instead and exceeded by garmin goal, so I'm happy with that. No more 18,000 step days...that really took its toll! Time to sit and read a bit. Sweet dreams!

Hi all we arrived home at about midnight last night from our wild and fun week in Disney World! We had a fabulous time with the kids and seeing their faces light up with all the character dinners, princesses and of course Dumbo- our DGDs true love- was worth every minute! We packed in all the parks and many special dinners and breakfasts. We even found time to enjoy the wonderful pool at our Animal Kingdom resort and DH and I spent most of the day yesterday lounging by the pool after the CA crew flew home. The resort was lovely and having all the animals right out the window was great. Like being on our own safari. We are both exhausted today and caught up with a few bills, groceries (I used instacart for delivery since I was wiped out), unpacking and laundry. Our little pooches came home all spiffed up and groomed. They are happy to be home! I think they are as tired as we are. We both had to say that we’ve never seen Disney so crowded but it’s been 20 years since we went. Lines were long but DSIL planned so well with many fast passes to avoid lines on more popular attractions. We never could have done it without him! Our DGD had a fantastic 🎂 birthday and the Disney crew treated her like a real princess. For the most part everyone in the Park was polite and kind so that helps a ton. We all especially loved our last day in EPCOT with a delicious dinner in Norway. We found all our meals to be really delicious. We had meal plans and reservations at great places.
now it’s back to work- ugh! I did not have time to read personals yet but will tomorrow. Off to eat stuffed peppers from the new WW cookbook. We did walk at least 10 miles each day! Good thing!

Hi girls. This waiting around to go to the dentist is the pits. Appointment isn't till 2 p.m. I'll be happy to be back home again LOL I opened up a credit card online for dental purposes only, and the 'deal' is that if you pay the balance in 6 months, you don't pay interest. I finagled our budget to work this in and hopefully it will all go smoothly. Took a hood walk but it was cut short as it was quite windy out there. When I get home, I'll try it again. Judy I loved those pictures you sent. You have a beautiful family
