Thanks for the start, Karen. I hope you found the source of the rash. Is it any better today? Too many like me and not enough like you for your committee. I hope someone says “yes” soon. What are in the Capri vegetables?
Liz, is it any warmer in the building today? Did you bring your wrap back to work with you? The allergies were irritating yesterday but seem to be okay today. How did the auditors go? Iggy has not said much about work but he is not complaining.
Kathy, I am glad you didn’t run into Trashy or his cousins in your walk. We have a nice sunny day again and might even get into the low fifties later. I am sure the NOLA gang is having a good time.
Linda, I am glad you found a ride to the airport. What a pain! Micki looks so cute in his cape and mask. I hope you are having a good time.
Becky, I hope you get your shots soon. For you the 60s are a cool down and for us it is a warm up. We are expecting 60s for the next few days.
Iggy requested some date nut bread, so I made that this morning and did prep for a dinner of salmon patties and cucumber onion salad. I need to get some more steps so off I go.

Becky, I saw something on FB about TX having it's largest bluebonnet bloom in the last 10 years. Do you have a lot of them around you? Will you have to have an ortho appointment before the first shot or can they just do the shots based on your history?
Capri vegetable blend is a frozen organic mix from Publix, Chele. It includes green beans, carrots, zucchini, and yellow squash. It comes in a steamer bag so it's really quick and easy to prepare. And half a bag is only 33 calories. The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that my rash is a reaction to the heating pad. DM was gifted with a set of flowered ones that she never used, so she gave them to me. That was probably about 5 years ago and I just ran across them a couple of weeks ago and pulled them out to use. I took Benadryl before bed last night and am still zonked, so I won't be able to take any tonight with Osteo, etc. being tomorrow. Dale says the redness is fading, so I hope that means it's going away. I can't see it because of it being on the back of my neck. I always loved date nut bread with a big ole dollop of cream cheese on it. Haven't had that in years. Enjoy!
Kathy, I finally got to watch The Husbands of River Song this morning. Capaldi was almost likeable. Did you get the cold front and rain that was predicted?
I know you're having a great time, Linda. Did you get a good night's sleep?
Liz, how's the office temp today? I hope the internal auditors ran out of questions before you ran out of answers.
Due to the after effects of the Benadryl, I haven't done much today. I didn't trust myself to venture into any yoga poses, so I just used the rowing machine and the Vibe, which I found myself hanging onto the balance bar more than usual. I did bake Arya a butternut squash and water sauted my weekly dose of shiitake mushrooms. We have a sunny day with temps going up to about 60. Dale took Arya for a walk about an hour ago, so she's down for a nap. I think I'll read.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Chele One of my Facebook friends from MI said weather is relative. She said highs in the 40's was spring for them and 70's are summer.LOL.We had a low of 44 and now it's 78.It's a beautiful day but I didn't feel like walking since I had already walked and shopped in HEB and WM so I have done 30 minutes on the recumbent bike so far.Maybe after dinner I will do an exercise DVD or another round on the bike.Kenneth loves cucumber and onion salads.I like cucumber and cherry tomatoes if I just want a small salad.
Karen We have wildflowers on our property but no bluebonnets. They showed a pink bluebonnet on KXAN news last night. They said they are very rare and I had never seen one before. If Central TX would have gotten some rain this month they would be more than ever.I have my first appointment a week from tomorrow where they will just do an eval and x-rays.Then once Medicare approves them they will have to order them first since the doctor only comes once a week.I don't like the side effects of Benadryl either.I hope your rash goes away soon.
Liz I hope your office is warmer today.
Scooter has been so funny lately. She has wanted to sleep outside in her recliner in the yard the last 4 nights and then in the daytime when the sun comes out and gets too warm for her black fur she wants to sleep inside.

Blessed with unusually good weather for Vancouver. I may have overdone it today, but who wants to spend a nice afternoon in a hotel room? We went to the Bloedel consevatory again...tropical geodesic dome with gorgeous plants and parrots, and got one to chat with us!
That is in Elizabeh park which has fantastic views of the city and the mountains beyond where they had the Olympics.
We got back , rested a bit and went walking down to the seawall on coal Harbor two blocks away and went along that to the convention center where the cruise shops leave. Fly Over Canada multimedia is there...you sit and the seats lift up to a huge screen with drone photography, mist in your face and wind and such. It has a lot of stairs inside up and down getting in and out .Walked back. Lying down for a couple hours til supper and glad that will be a cab tonight! It is a great restaurant that does German and modern food.
