June enjoy your class. You surely do make history fun.
Beautiful out and took a nice walk. So relaxing. Took us longer as we visited with people walking along the way.
Still trying to decide on supper. Perhaps takeout.

Ann, how nice that you are enjoying some walks also! This time change and warmer weather sure has been the ticket Becky, don't blame you for not wanting to double track...single tracking is time consuming enough. We all have to do what works best for us for sure. Hope you and the DH found something fun to do this afternoon. June, the lesson sounds good...I know I've said it before but I love history, geography, too! work has been busy but mostly just a steady stream of to-do's...no drama today thank goodness. Will be heading home at 4. Looking forward to my afternoon walk.

Hi ladies. It has been beautiful here in Las Vegas and I'm getting a ton of walking in. I'm being watchful but I am going to enjoy this vacation. My biggest issue is the sodium. I'm reading but don't have the means to really comment so I will talk to you all when I get back

Willing to be willing. Iām home from a workout and picked up needed healthy choices. I even found cotton candy grapes. Tracking has been completed for breakfast and lunch. Dinner has been planned. Have a great day everyone.

Susi, I agree..enjoy your vacation! You work so hard to maintain your weight - You'll have plenty of time to be OP when you get back home and hopefully the sodium that happens in Vegas will stay in Vegas Pam, grapes sound good...I've not been able to find many good grapes lately. looking forward to the summer fruit season.

I kept my phone on and at 10 a.m. my friend called crying in pain to say she could not go to lunch. I told her to take Ibuprofen, put on makeup and clothes and I would pick her up at 11:30. Her husband was there and I talked to him. It is the excuse she used last Friday and what she used yesterday to avoid a birthday luncheon with a close friend and one other girlfriend. Tough Love! We ate at Heirloom and both had delicious chicken posole soup with green chard taquitos. The manager reserved a comfortable booth for her while I ordered at the counter. I gave her my massage therapist's card. Other friend's had suggested she go to a chiropractor. Since she is under the care of a surgeon who performed back surgery two years ago, Victor will be more gentle. Then we drove around my neighborhood and I pointed out the remodeled houses of people she knew. She saw three friends at the restaurant and I asked how she felt. She thought they were all wondering about her. I pointed out that one was a recent widow and happy to just be out. We talked about excuses and how she needs to focus on what makes her happy not on what she thinks makes others happy. I feel like Lucy Van Pelt the Peanuts psychologist.
Gorgeous spring day! Lily Belle and I walked this morning and after I change I am going to sit with her on the patio and read.

Audrey It is just so sad about your friend.Does she still hurt from her surgery 2 years ago or do you think it's physical abuse?I am so glad you talked her into going out with you for lunch. She sounds like she needs a circle of friends and supporters. You are such a good friend.
I have been OP today and got in a long walk this afternoon. It was warmer and windy but a beautiful day.

Audrey lol to peanuts psychologist. Glad your friend joined you and you got a walk in.
Pam enjoy those grapes. Like LaDonna I'm also looking forwars to warm weather and fresh fruits of summer.
Susi enjoy. Once back home you'll deal with it.
The wind picked up. I'm jammified and going to relax before eating.
Sweet dreams all.

My friend called at 10 to cancel and I told her to take pain killers, put on makeup and get dressed because we were going to lunch at 11:30. She was ready and we had a great lunch at Heirloom where we both had posole soup, Swiss chard taquitos and green ice tea. The manager found her a booth for her to sit in while I ordered at the counter. She was wearing a back brace. We talked about her cancellations and excuses being more from anxiety than true pain and she admitted it could be psychosomatic. After lunch I drove her around my neighborhood where homes are being remodeled. I brought her home at 2 p.m. We talked about her friends including the husband's girlfriend who insists she has no interest in men. No comment. We talked about resigning from clubs and unnecessary commitments. I spoke with him a little while ago. He thinks she is getting dementia and said she has bought a lot of new clothes she doesn't wear. I do not believe that. I remember when my mother's friend was institutionalized and we visited her. She didn't seem unusual to me and I was a young girl. 68 degrees Lily Belle and i were outside where I listened to my Deepak meditation. Namaste
