Ten years ago I was living in a big home that we had totally remodeled. It was 2009. I lost my son the year before. .. I had knee replacement that year.. And my daughter whom I lost this February came to stay with us for 8 months … That was the last time I saw her. She lived in Florida. We had been going down there each year up until then.. My health took a downward spiral and I had four major operations in two years. I never could bounce back from all that and never traveled again. Sad.. but we can't see into the future. We did keep in touch though through emails, phone calls and facebook.
I'm breaking down and buying a new printer tomorrow.. tonight I've spent three hours trying to design the brochure for the celebration of life... still only have it about 1/4 done.. cant do anymore tonight. It's now one a.m. and I need to lay down.
Hope every one has a restful night.
Jenny

Good morning! I didn't expect to be one of the first to arrive this morning, but this will get us back to the top!
Jenny, I have an HP 8715 printer, and I love it. The ink is expensive, but it is for every printer. It has a fax, a document feeder, and can print front to back.
Kathie, what brand/style of refrigerator did you buy? DH thinks we should get a new one. Ours is at least 25 years old.
I have two of my three DGDs here; they are on spring break this week. They are playing World of Cubes on their tablets, and I am on my laptop. Hmm. Need to decide what to have for lunch.
Yesterday the man who clears the drives at the mobile community and The Parents' House texted me that he had forgotten to send me a bill for some of the times he had worked. I knew I owed him for one additional time, but had paid him for the first time. He couldn't remember being paid, so I had to go online, find the copy of the check, and send it to him. I do still owe him for one clearing and the special work he did for the lady who was about to have her baby. We had a laugh about how he and I are such crack bookkeepers. He owns a junkyard and is, by far, a millionaire. Just a good old country boy!
Speaking of $, I see that someone in Wisconsin won the PowerBall last night! What a shock that family has; they will have to change their whole lifestyle. I would worry about my kids and grandkids if something like that happened to me -- of course, no danger of that happening, I'd need to buy at least one ticket! LOL!
We drove out to the farm on our way home yesterday. The young man I told you about has already made some headway clearing away the junk that was left by the previous renter. Many blessings upon him!!!
There is an auction up north today that has a nice little pull-type Jayco camper in it. We looked at it yesterday. It's about 18' long and sleeps five or six. The fridge has a separate freezer compartment, and there is even a small tub in the bathroom. The girls thought we should get it, but DH hasn't indicated that he will bid on it.
BBL to see what's happening in your world! ~~Mollyann

Good Morning Cat and Looking for Springs,
This morning it was 51* and going up to 74* with a mix of clouds and sun becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon winds S 20-30 mph.
All three girls will be in their schools as usual today.
I don't think there are any special plans today. We are all trying to relax after MJ's day in court yesterday and the divorce being done.
Aunty Acid Thurs Mar 28: I can't afford a vacation, so I'm just going to drink until I don't know where I am.

10 years ago I was living where I am now doing about the same except one DF was still driving and we were doing things together. I was probably camping as we usually camped the end of the month or the 3rd week. I had never had a UTI so never had cipro which gave me colitis.
Jenny, I remember your struggles.
Kathie, I know you hope this fridge won't go out on you. Getting new appliances is no fun anymore.
57 to 73 partly cloudy. South wind.
Plans today are to do some things concerning the camper. Gotta get my weed eater charging. Chance of rain tonight. Here we go again.
One more cuppa then I gotta get with it. Have a great Thursday all. SUNSHINE LUCY

Hi!
Our high temp today is to be in the 70s! Imagine that! Ten years ago, I was still mobile and could drive. I cared for two DGKs, who were 3 and 4 at that time. I also worked at the church one day a week with a friend, and we got the bulletin printed for Sunday service. We were also there to answer the phone. DH (who was pastor) was not in the office that day, so he took care of our little DGS. His pre-school was only two days a week. Today we plan to just relax, since tomorrow we will be driving to OU to support our DGS (13) in the Geographic Bee. That will be an all-day event, so I won't be posting tomorrow. I am proud of him for being brave enough to compete. One requirement is that he will have to be totally still during the competition. That is his greatest struggle. But he did it last year, when none of us thought he could, so... Today, I plan to take the time to do my walk. I didn't try to do that yesterday, since there was a long walk at the oncologist. No clue what I'll fix for dinner tonight. I think DH wants those pork chops I promised on Monday and then didn't deliver.
Have a happy day! Diane

Oops! I forgot the QOTD.
Ten years ago . . . that was 2009 . . . I was still working full time. The twins were just six months old, so I was helping with them as much as I could. My parents and DMIL were still doing pretty good, even driving I think. Even my granny was still alive. Little did I know that within 5 years, my entire world would shift. ~~Mollyann

Ten years ago I was in the desert. It really is different living. I was missing green a lot! But I also learned about cactus and other plants.

Woke up this morning and felt more like myself than I have all month. I didn't feel like turning around and hitting the couch. got dressed and put load of clothes in washer and even have the dumpster ready to take to the end of the driveway later today. I am not going to over do but sure feels good to feel better.
QOTD
2009 Had broken up with a guy I had been dating for awhile. Had Gall bladder surgery, was doing a lot of day trips with my Friend, casino's, Amish county, etc etc. ( she died this year and I miss her every day-- the guy? NOPE) My oldest DGD turned 21 and my youngest DGS got his permit to drive. Oh boy I remember those driving episodes a lot. He had a lead foot, and still does. DGS#2 graduated high school and was off to college. Was making 2 trips to Florida each year to hang out with my MOM>
Jenny I also remember that year for you. We were on the old WW board and it was so hard to know what to say. isn't that the way always. Still don't know what to say.
Molly the guy who plows snow for me, mows and also picks up all the leaves has still not told me how much I owe him for 2 loads of fill dirt he brought me nor pulling out the old bush for me. I have decided to just send him some money from from my tax refund and if it is not enough maybe he will tell me if it is too much he will not take anything for the mowing, That seems to be his way of bookkeeping. I haven't a clue what the dirt cost and he kept telling me he wasn't done yet. Wanted to do a top soil when he can get nice dirt. But I hate this hanging so made up my mind today that is what I am going to do. He never raises any of his prices and have to tip him if I want to give him more. Yep he is a Good old Boy as well. He drives truck to OHIO and back for his regular job. Very dependable!! Just no billing!!!
