My garbage is by the garage door. One of my neighbors takes it to the curb for me. I do have good neighbors. QOTD Ten years ago I was working full time as a teachers aide in third grade and also as the librarian. In July of 2009 my daughter had her first kidney transplant at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. I also had a pit bull/corgi mix named Bonnie. She was an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull) which is known as the nanny dog. She "took care of Jessica" a lot.

Yes, Connie, I see now it was Lucy who was taking a friend for knee injections. Apologies to both of you!
We took the girls to visit Mom today, and they talked for a whole hour. All about their school, and the hail on the weather channel (Mom keeps the weather channel on all the time.) We thought we would roast hot dogs when we got home, but we had quite a rainstorm -- lightening, thunder, the works -- No roasting outside this evening.
I need to make some All Bran muffins this evening, and I have a large stack of paperwork that I must get sorted and filed. I've kept up with paying the bills, but that's about it. When I cleaned off the dining table for lunch today, I was astounded at how much I had procrastinated.
Hope each of you has a nice evening. See you tomorrow! ~~Mollyann

It's been a long day as we went to visit my sister. We left at 8:00 this morning & got home at 5:30. That kind of day is more tiring to me then working.
QOTD March 2009 we were in TX getting ready to head north & then on to our summer volunteer job in Steamboat Springs CO. We never made it there after we had a major blowout in Lincoln Nebraska. We got it fixed adequately to travel back home & eventually found a place in IN that would work on it. No one would tie up their work bays as that was a busy time getting campers ready for the camping season. It turned out we never got the RV back till October. In July A-fib put DH in the hospital. While there his blood work was suspicious & eventually was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney failure. In August our 20 year old AK GS died unexpectedly. It was a year we will never forget but were so thankful we weren't in CO when DH was hospitalized & GS died.

Thank you all for answering QOTD. It is interesting to read how we have lived our lives. Mollyann, I can find many questions, but I like to trailor it to our age group. I want good questions not junk. Now you know.
The day was long!

QOTD: I was right here on the ranch and married to Jim. Not sure what year he lost his first leg but it has been quite a while now...but, I don't think 10 yrs...--- probably more like 6-8.
The refrigerator I got is a side by side GE. It is very similar to the old one which was still working well after 20 yrs. I had intended to put it in my tenant's house but she wants a small one so she will get it herself and I had the delivery guys take my old one since we didn't have a place for it to be stored. I think I liked the white better than the stainless steel but I'll get used to it I guess. It IS more modern but I am not...lol. The stove I ordered will be shipped on April 15th so I'll still be able to put the stove in my tenant's house before May 1st when she moves in.
Tucking you all in now in LIGHT GREEN BLANKETS WITH A RAINBOW IN THE MIDDLE OVER A PILE OF GOLD SHAMROCKS!....sweet dreams!
Spring in my Step - Kathie
