What are you willing to do to lose or maintain your weight?

I am willing to track, move, drink water and stay within my calorie limit. It will be a challenge today because it is Grandparents' Day at Mary's and Charlotte's school. DD is bringing lunch, probably a pasta salad the girls will eat. I have a nearby dermatologist appointment at 1 p.m. so I have planned to eat a sliced apple in the car. At least it is not the dentist where I need clean teeth. Dinner is Indian food mostly vegetarian with tika chicken cooked in a clay pot. It is skinless so better than other choices but still a carby meal. Breakfast will be two eggs scrambled with celery and cherry tomatoes, my go to, when I don't have yogurt. Will also have coffee, fresh fruit and lemon ginger tea. Best part of an Indian dinner is DH drinks a beer and i drink water. Must say no when they offer a free glass of wine. You can see I am thinking as I type. Have a wonderful day. I'll stop hijacking the thread soon but this way I can rest at night. Too busy in the morning to read everything and respond.

THx for starting our thread, Audrey!
Audrey Sounds like you have thought through each stage of your day and have a viable plan in place. Nah... helping is not hijacking.

Friday's goals
Think through the food options for a combineded 91 st birthday party for my parents. I will mostly choose healthy options. There will be homemade chocolate cake, which I will enjoy w/o any angst or guilt. Am thinking that I will plan around the cake, b/c it is a special occasion & that's what I want most.π

I am here at the MousekeHouse a half-hour earlier than usual; SonIL has a 2nd interview for a job that is closer to home (high-level accounting management). Since he took the day off from his current position, I will do MHMR and pick up MousekeTWO at 11:45 - and then SonIL will take over so we are off from picking up the Mouseketeer. This will be useful since the Kressling has soccer practice at 6 pm at a different location than the other two sessions this week.
I will head for La Fitness to meet - a half-hour later than scheduled - with a substitute for the new-to-me trainer (#3) to whom I have not yet been introduced. "His car broke down." And the Training Director says he also decided to transfer to <wait for it> a location closer to his home. <meh>. I am not amused.
I am drinking coffee βββ and contemplating life on this gray NJ morning...
πΏπ·πΏπ·πΏπ·πΏπ·πΏ Have a healthy-eating day, all. πΏπ·πΏπ·πΏπ·πΏπ·πΏ

I just passed up breakfast casseroles, bacon and buttered down grits in the staff lounge and had my Toasted cheese sandwich on my Ezekiel bread with a little evoo drizzled on...total 6 SPs. Lunch out today with boss...will have a salad most likely. Dinner plans up in the air as usual. Hair appt after work just for a light trim. If DH wants to ride along we will stop somewhere and eat out. If not, I'll bring something home. Whatever the decision I will be OP...been stringing too many good days together to mess up now Audrey, way to go thinking ... your day sounds much like mine..obstacles but we are thinking ahead and that is what is important. We can do this! June, I know you will enjoy that homemade cake and plan accordingly. Certainly worth the splurge and happy birthday to your precious parents! Ann, hope Lula's appt goes well Cathy, Great plan!' MJ, hope the sub works out. literally Bee, great WI!

Cathy great plan. MJ hope the 'trainer' works out for you. I wouldn't be impressed either. Bee super weight loss. I also lost this a.m. Down .9 and I'll take it. LaDonna great job eating your own breakfast...which sounded delish to me. June hope your DP's are doing well. I am all planned and tracked for today. Now to simply stick with it...which is sometimes easier said than done Wishing AWF a splendid day and if the 'computer gods' are on my side, I'll be back!
