Good Morning Marm and LTMs,
Today it is cloudy and 40* going up to 41* with rain today. Winds will be NNE 10-20 mph.
The girls will be in school today. Sarah is excited because this is their first day learning coding and her partner is a boy in her class.
As far as I know there are no special plans for today so we'll just wait and see what comes up.
I'm almost finished with the book I've been reading titled Booty Bones by Sarah Booth Delaney. This is another one with lots of twists and turns and I'll be interested to see how it comes out. Then I'll have to decide what to read next.

Good Morning,
I'll jump in here first thing cause once I get moving I may not be back later. Of course I'll need to take some breaks. I have lots more in my heard to do then I'll be able to get done today.
Yesterday was good & fun. DB had planned to go with us but when we stopped to pick him up he wasn't feeling very good. SIL & I sort of talked him out of going this time. I assured him we would ask him when we go to next time. I think some of his problem may have been simply the change in his normal routine. He had to get up earlier to eat breakfast & do his treatment. I think he was just wore out. Now with DST maybe next time we will go later in the day & still get home before dark. I might like that better too.
My sister was having a very good day. It was so nice to see that. Thanks for asking Marm. I had taken the family pictures that SIL gave me last week, along. She remembered many of them but still enjoyed looking at them & reminiscing. We had lunch with her at the home. Not quite as good as the first time but still good to share a meal with her. I took her a bag of jelly beans & she opened them right away & was snacking on them after lunch again. Her DD appreciates our visits & the things we bring sis. In talking with DN I found out she is similar to Marm. She has done remodeling - installed a sink & did the plumbing too. Also does electrical work. Just finished stripping wallpaper & painting for a friend. She is busy all the time & will be 70 in June. Can't believe I have nieces & nephews that old. The oldest one is 74. That's what I its like being the youngest in the family.
Think I'll try to wash DS's BR windows today. The BR windows are older then the rest & I think I can pull them out. If not maybe DH can. I'll have to make a trip to the grocery store too & I need to vacuum again. Next week I plan to mop & "wax" the kitchen floor. I like to do that just before we leave & get all the hints from my sloppy cooking removed.
Beautiful day! The camping itch is really prevalent these days. DH is ready to go too. We're thinking maybe the week of the & 7th, so not long now & lots of work to be done before we can stay there. We have talked of taking more days for the actual moving this time but I'm not sure that is possible. Only our clothes can go if there's no heat & we don't turn the furnace on if we are gone over night. I'm hoping two trips is all it will take.
Time to get the ball rolling. Have a good day....

Marm, how's DH today? Still feeling better I hope.
Laundry is done. I've done some walking but will do more when DH gets home from work and we walk outdoors. It won't be as warm as yesterday when we walked but less windy. Yesterday was in the 50's. Doesn't sound like outdoor walking tomorrow with it being the coldest day of the week and really windy again too.
Ruth, did you get all the predicted snow? Like Mary I hope you don't share with us!

Good morning all. Marm, how is your hubby?
Gareth, no snow yet but it's looking more by the minute that it's going to start. It is still 39 degrees though and here....well actually probably anywhere, you just don't really know what the weather is going to do but forecast is still for 5-9 inches.I thought they meant late yesterday or during the night last night.
Marlene, it;s great that you were able to go to visit your sister. Your neice does indeed sound like Marm. A couple years ago I was going to strip off wallpaper and smooth out the walls and paint but I realized what a big job that was going to be because whoever wallpapered put it on without sanding and the walls under it look very lumpy if you look close enough and I didn't get to it yet and that was just in a small bathroom and still seemed like too big of a job. Maybe this summer. I always wished I had paid more attention when my father who was an electrician did work around the house. We always had to help him but I didn't learn much.Nowdays I could look up a youtube video and learn from it.

Hello all LTMs,
I've had a weird 24 hours. I was fine yesterday morning, went to WW, then to Sam's. Went out to lunch w/ my neighborhood group. Nice restaurant, one I like, and had a good time. I had a "Salad Trio', a scoop each of chicken salad, lobster, & shrimp salads. I really enjoyed it, but about 3 hours later, I started feeling very strange, a bit light headed & woozy. Within an hour, I was in full blown vertigo w/ the room spinning. It would lessen, then start again. Went on most of the night. I did get up & go to the Y, talked to a friend there & found his wife had had lobster from a local fish store the night before & gotten very sick. So, what happened? Food poisoning? No GI symptoms. Allergic reaction? Never had any allergy to shell fish before, and I had no itching, difficulty breathing or such. I took a Benadryl about 4 this morning, felt better gradually, but still have some light headedness. I just don't know what it was (is), but it has been very weird. I cannot deal w/ this right now. I AM going on this trip, and I AM packing, today & tomorrow.
Marm, hope Herb feels OK today.
Have a great evening, everyone!
Rose Marie

Oh, Rose Marie, I do hope you feel normal again soon! To come on like it did sounds like food poisoning, or something related to what you ate. Did anyone else in your group eat the same thing? When do you leave for your trip? Keep packing. You will probably be good to go! Enjoy!
Marlene. your visit with your DS was a nice thing, for all of you. Too bad your DB wasn’t feeling well enough. At our age one never knows which visit will be the last, at least here on earth. I only have one brother and I wish we could be together more. Once or maybe twice a year is all we do, and it’s usually me stopping in to see them while passing through on a way to somewhere else, like last fall when I took my DD’s and DGD for a “girls” weekend trip. When they come to this area it’s for a visit with one of their kids living here and they don’t have time to stop to see me. I understand and don’t complain (except here it seems). They’re about 150 miles from here.
Ruth, I hope that snow never materialized for you, nor for coming this way. It was only in the 40’s today, but with the sun out, it felt very pleasant. I even needed to put the AC on in my car for a while when we left our knitting place.
BBL to see how Herb and Marm are doing. Great I hope.

Doris, Now that's good to hear. Maybe a reminder to S about the excitement of coding and boy, that's things can be good going to school. I envy you able to read.sounds great .I just sat few mins. just before got on here. And fell asleep.
Marlene, what fun you had yesterday. And I bet your sister always enjoys you coming. Laughing, Because this morning, I was putting together a drawer frame "n" all that got wet, the Wood box (large trunk) sits on top of it. I had to glue and nail/screw it together. all the time thinking back when I tried something. A knife was a screwdriver, the end a hammer,or anything heavy? Had even a rock at times. Was so happy once I had Pliers, Was good for also like a wrench to. To saw limbs off Oak trees, Was hand saw. Pruning would have been nice. Took years before got anything good to use. To cute how much your sister enjoyed those Jelly Beans. Good luck on washing those windows.
Gareth*, Good to hear "u" walked outside. Yeah think tomorrow will be a different question. I washed DH 2 jacket's this morning.
Ruth, Doing that wallpaper, if you can rent a steamer. I couldn't, I Used hot water, Was messy, Of course it all is. No matter how you do it.
Rose Marie*, Boy that is strange. Allergy's can happen any time. Maybe should call and talk to the nurse. I just hope this never happens to you again.
Well DH didn't feel the greatest this morning after up for awhile went back to bed till about 10 .Stayed up and as the day went one felt better. He went outside and piddled around some. Can't tell him he shouldn't. I tried. He didn't go to work though. But I did get all that fabric ironed and measured and all. For the playhouse. Also put together that drawer and frame. have if glued/nailed/screwed. Let it dry till morning then put everything in place. I did wash 2 loads, but that was DH's 2 jackets. To heavy to wash in one load. Went to the neumph/Kidney Dr. All is good. Think she's real happy w/me. also guess what the nurse gave to me? Now this was over a yr. ago. when I was there. she had this T shirt on. I loved it. It was from the hospital. I said I wanted one. she checked there was none. Told to her I wanted her's. but I mentioned about her girls and mine. she had stretched out. she never forgot that. she did get a T-shirt, and in her drawer All this time waiting for me. I love it. DH went w/me, so after I said I wanted to stop @ Kohls, Get underpants. Well didn't get any, tomorrow I want to check at Target. If nothing there I already did at WM. I will go back to K,and get at least 1 pr. I have 30%, Just not sure on sz/ If in right department. Oh I did get another hair cut yesterday. think I like it much better. Had to start over again as the cut I had been getting just wasn't working like it should.

Marm I did try pulling off the wallpaper a couple years ago and it came right off. I had to put it back in place since I decided I wasn't going to do the whole job then.
Yes the snow started right after I was here earlier. I had hardly got away from my laptop and looked out and it was snowing...been snowing all day and still is.
Rose Marie, that sounds very frightening with all that vertigo. I hope it's gone now.
