TOOT, TOOOOT! CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Here comes the Train to Thinsville down the track and into your station, so hop on board and enjoy the ride.
Today it is cloudy and 40* going up to 41* with rain today. Winds will be NNE 10-20 mph.
The girls will be in school today. Sarah is excited because this is their first day learning coding and her partner is a boy in her class.
As far as I know there are no special plans for today so we'll just wait and see what comes up.
I'm almost finished with the book I've been reading titled Booty Bones by Sarah Booth Delaney. This is another one with lots of twists and turns and I'll be interested to see how it comes out. Then I'll have to decide what to read next.

Good morning Doris & ATF,
Cloudy day and currently 50; the high will be 63.
Today is a half day for DD and the boys. I'm going to be watching the boys tonight as DD and hubby are going into PA for the Kiss concert. He bought the tickets as a Christmas gift thinking DD would like to remember her youth when she saw them as a kid in MSG. Tomorrow is opening day for soccer for the boys so I will be sleeping over to attend the game.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Emily,
It sounds like you have a couple of busy days with the boys and I know you will enjoy being with them.
Its nice that DD and DSIL can go to the concert with you staying with the boys. It will be fun to see them play their first soccer game of the season tomorrow.

Dave had an eye appointment this morning and since he had his eyes dilated I went along and drove home. His eyes are healthy. On the way home we stopped at the Y and then at a grocery store to pick up a salad for the funeral tomorrow. We decided to go to the funeral since this mentally challenged man is Dave's 1st cousin twice remmoved. Not sure how to figure that but if we had grandchildren he'd be their third cousin. Dave was born quite a few years after his siblings and his dad also was born a lot later than his siblings and this man was the great grandsom of Dave's aunt who was the oldest of Dave's dad's family. Now that is a puzzle and don't ask him how he's related to any of his family. But our side of the family always figures that out, just something we always did. Doris did you see the snow this afternoon? Brr

Helen,
That is quite a family history you had to go through. I won't even try to figure out the family relationships.
We didn't have snow here but we did have hail or sleet when I put the dogs out mid-morning. It didn't last long, but both dogs came in with their backs covered with tiny ice pellets.

We are supposed to get some of that snow Sunday. Darn!!
it is raining today, kind of a light sprinkle. did delivery the SCHWAN order to my neighbor just a bit ago. First I have been out today. Felt kind of good. 51 ° here. They are trying Schwan out and if they decide they like it will do their own ordering but for now I am ordering for them. Lot easier if you order ahead of time, I do it online and then know exactly when he is coming. They also let me know about any changes if there are any.
I am a candle person and so happy to see my pack of samples of votive candles came today. They are scents like nectarine, and peach. Have the peach one in the jar centerpiece I have on the table. It smells so good not even lighting it. Pretty color for the Easter things I have out. hope I feel good enough to bring the rest of the stuff up from basement. I do feel lot better. Thinking grocery run tomorrow.

Hi!
We got up early and drove to OKC to be there for DGS's geography Bee. While he participated, DH and I visited with DSisIL. Then we all went out to lunch. When DH and I got home (about 3:30) we sat down to nap. We woke up an hour later. I'll be here tomorrow when I may have sense! Diane

Connie,
I hope the snow will stay away. I know it is still possible for a while but I'm ready for spring and flowers.
It should be nice to have candles with a scent. Hannah and Rachael like those kinds of candles too and we have some of them and they do make the house smell good.

Diane,
It sounds like you had a long and busy day traveling to OKC for you DGS's spelling bee. It was nice that you could visit with DSisIL while he was at the spelling bee and went out to lunch too.
We'll see you tomorrow.
