s good morning, Cat thank you for a wonderful March thread. loved the questions and pictures of kitties and butterflies.
molly we were at the museum on our last bus trip. so was not looking for kids stuff. there were lots kids there. lots of old farm stuff, so the girls could see stuff from our era, cars, trains, oscar meyer weiner mobile, eating places gift shops.a really big old real stream engine.we only had a couple of hours. a family could spend alot of time in there.
sandy I suggest you and dh take your swimsuits with. here is the reason.
my leggs swelled on the trip. so at night it was the exercise room, and hot tub and pool .then I put a pillow under them when sleeping.in the am the swelling would be down. I was worried about fluid around the heart.
at my physcial I asked my doctor about it .he said it has to do with gravity. that is the first time it happened on a bus trip. so please be prepared just in case.watching for robbins phyl

Cat, it has been a fun month and you always do a great job. Are you still going to do the Question of the Day for us. Up to you of course. Jenny, I can post at night but with the time difference, you all might have to look for it further down the page. If I post at midnight it is 9 and 10pm for most of you.
Kathie, I am sure you get frustrated with Jim not wanting to get a bath. I guess it feels like a big chore for him. Butterflies and hummingbirds are a favorite of mine so always happy to post pictures of either one. My computer has been giving me fits. Have done all the "cleaning" and rebooted this morning which took forever but hoping this helps.
It is sprinkling again and I am a bit light headed so not driving anywhere. Will take awhile to get the head cleared out, Don't want to mess up and not be able to get to my hair appointment on Monday. My bangs are in my eyes!! that cut is necessary, like them long but not like this.!! I like the widows peak covered up. Going to have to look that phrase up and see where it came from.
I have no plans for any trips but enjoy hearing about everyone else's. Phyl, good suggestions from you about legs swelling, we are all more prone to them now and my friend and I always took advantage of the swimming pool etc. and still would. Elevating legs is a good idea even while riding in the car, if you are not the driver. If you are-- make some extra stops as get in a short walk even to the restroom at the welcome centers. etc. My Dr stressed getting up and walking on the plane, even if just back and forth to rest room even if you didn't have to "go" . My friend came home with blood clot in her lung from a long 4 hour plane trip and she didn't have any health issues before that. Thought she had pneumonia. Was a lucky lady her Dr caught it after asking a few questions on her Dr visit for her cough. Our tour buses make rest stops every 2-3 hours, and we always get off the bus to walk. Most of us are Sr citizens.

SNOW!!! Huge wet heavy flakes! Merry Christmas!
Ha! I posted that while we were at lunch at Bob Evan's. We had been to Lowe's to look at flooring and cabinets for the farmhouse. When we came out, there was that beautiful wet snowfall! The pond down the road is sort of steaming -- like one's breath in cold air. I think this "front" is supposed to move out by 4 p.m. Sure hope the weatherman is right!
We had to go into and across town to get Matzo bread for tomorrow's communion. Only one grocery store carries it. I've used pie crust from time to time, but DH wanted the "real thing" now that he knows it's available. If I could find a cookie cutter that cut out small squares, I'd make it myself. Somehow, I don't think duckies or apples would be appropriate.
I think I'm inside for the remainder of the day. I started a new book, Alone by Lisa Gardner. So I definitely have something to keep me entertained. ~~Molly

Home again and cold. About to turn on the electric heater and aim it toward me. I guess this is our Easter gale. Easter is late. I hope no more cold this spring.
Ate too much at Senior luncheon. Too much dessert. Well, I had to sample as many as possible. I don't keep sweets at home.

Been busy cleaning & did the some grocery shopping today. I'm tired now. Doesn't take much to wear me out.
Lucy, I agree it is cold! We have overcast skies, 30 something degrees & a very brisk wind. At least no snow - so far. How can I think camping in weather like this? When are you going camping? We talked about moving some stuff next weekend but not if the weather is like this.
Cat, this is my first month here but I appreciate all that you have done. Every morning I look forward to your bright & cheerful start & then at night you tuck us in. Good job! Now I look forward to what Connie has for us in April.

I know it is March 31 tomorrow, but I’m in a leaving mood. I will start the Thread tonight.
It is Aunt Helen’s Birthday. She was in NM with me for a few years. Not a friendly person. A strange lady. Enough of that news!

Cat, so sorry you are "burned out"! Have we been that difficult? I don't think so . . . you've done a great job. Just get a good night's rest, and come back when you can. Let us know if you discover you are actually ill. We'll miss you!

A quiet day today since Bobbie is in Las Vegas but I did give Jim his bath today since Bobbie won't be here until Monday and he didn't feel like taking it yesterday. So, he is clean and shiny and has a shirt on with neon colors that he loves and Bobbie doesn't like it so he doesn't get to wear it when she is here...LOL. I'll bring a neon one for him to wear Monday morning just to annoy Bobbie...LOL.
Oh, the oriole's are back sucking on the hummingbirds food....They love the feeders that have a place to sit which is what we use in the window for Jim to see.
Thank you Cat for a wonderful month and please don't stay away too long because we will miss you!
Tucking you all in now in LIGHT GREEN BLANKETS WITH A RAINBOW IN THE MIDDLE OVER A PILE OF GOLD SHAMROCKS!
Spring in my Step - Kathie
