I did finish the brochure (still can't remember what its called) and I did a good job.. Tomorrow I will print them and the pictures I've chosen to display.. Calling for rain on the sixth.. hope not..

Raining this morning so have decided since the topic at WW is having an activity buddy I'll opt out as I have no buddies at all so not a topic I'm interested in.
I got so angry during the night as at 12:30 this morning the phone rang and since we know phone calls at that time are never good news I jumped out of bed to answer it and it was a robo political call asking us to vote just for this one candidate for City Council as if we did it would give him five votes! It was the candidate Fred had planned on voting for but after that call I think he's going to change his mind. I never got back in a sound sleep so decided at 4:30 to just get up.
Have nine meals to plan before we leave on our trip! That definitely hits home as to how close it is! Was looking at the weather and might have to pack some capris as it might be too warm for the jeans I was planning on wearing!

Cat, you have done a great job with March, Thanks. You have one more day. Tomorrow would have been my DS birthday. She was the one who passed while I was in the hospital in 2015.
Congratulations Kathie, on your loss. I like quiet also. I seldom have music on. I have to be in the mood to pay attention to it, not like most of my friends that have TV on for background noise. I take after my mom. I want quiet. My Rumicub DF keeps her house quiet now that her DH is gone.
50 to 52 cloudy. 34 tonight. Yep winter is back. Rain shower around 5 this morning.
Senior luncheon at church. The meal is furnished and we bring desserts. I made a jello cool whip dessert yesterday.
Coffee, coffee. I need more coffee. Have a great Saturday everyone. SUNSHINE LUCY Mama used to sing 'You are my Sunshine, my only Sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray.'

Good Morning Cat and Looking for Springs,
First of all Cat, thanks for the great job you have done getting us started and just one more day to go. I've enjoyed all your posts and questions.
Today it is cloudy and 40* going up to 41* with rain today. Winds will be NNE 10-20 mph.
Hannah has to work at the concession stand for the soccer game today and we're wondering if it will be canceled if we get the rain.
As far as I know there are no other special plans for today so we'll just wait and see what comes up.
I finished the book I've been reading titled Booty Bones by Sarah Booth Delaney. This was another one with lots of twists and turns. Now I'll have to decide what to read next when MJ gets back from the library today.
Aunty Acid: Sat-Sun Mar 30-31: Smart cars, smart phones, smart TV's ... .When will they start making smart people?

Good morning!
Our temperatures are in the 40s today and tomorrow (we may see a little snow), then we'll be back in the 60s. It's rainy and windy.
Jenny, what brand/type of printer did you get? Sandy, I've forgotten . . . where are you going on your trip? Cat, you have done a great job keeping us going! Hope you will do one more day!
DH wants to look at flooring for the farmhouse; that's about the only plans we have for the day.
Be back later to check in!
~~Mollyann

Love that song, Lucy!

Cat, I am occasionally called Sunshine.
Well, I am back down to March 1st weight. So I am happy to show no gain after gaining on the spring break snacks left at my house from the 2 spring break weeks. I could not let them go to waste.
Last cuppa then I will dress.
My, the wind is high. Temp dropping. I am going to have to rethink what I wear to the luncheon.

DMIL sang You Are My Sunshine to each one of the grand babies. So sweet.
Has anyone taken grandkids to the Henry Ford Museum? Is it just walking through, or do they have things for the kids to do all along the way?

Molly we're going to Oklahoma to Will Rogers ranch and museum, Dee Drummond's ranch and mercantile (she has the pioneer woman's show on food network), a museum dedicated to actual pioneer women, a vineyard, a church noted for it's 21 stained glass windows and an Indian casino and then on the way home the St. Louis arch and a sightseeing cruise. Plus an Indian woman will take us around to show us places Indians lived and share their stories. Will be a full six days and if it's fun we might do something like that again, if we can afford it! What will be a big cost is our vet has increased boarding fees and it's costing $60 a night instead of $40 for Bridgette and Bailey and we have to have them there for two additional nights as we leave early on the Monday and they close at noon Saturday and are closed on Sunday unless you are picking up. Too bad they don't let you drop off then as well!

Hi Cat and Ladies Looking for Spring,
It rained and snowed over night and we have about 2" of snow on the lawn, none on the sidewalks or roads (ground was too warm yesterday). Currently it's 31 and cloudy, feels like 26, with wind from the west at 4 mph, the high is predicted to be 40 - we'll see.
Doris, you're Auntie Acid reminds me of the majority of the people who come in to renew or apply for a CHP (cancelled handgun permit). We are now mailing out the permits/licenses and ask that the applicant prepare a self addressed envelop for us. We also have a sample of an envelop, but do you think they can do that when with an example? NOOOOOO. Some put the information where the machine will stamp the postage, some write it so big it looks like a kindergartner or first grader prepared the envelope, and some write it so small that you can hardly read it let alone see it. Oh, and these are not all young adults many that I've seen are older people, like those in their 40's. 50's, 60's, etc. And we are giving them a handgun permit? Pitiful very pitiful. One of these days I'm going to ask Reese if he knows how to address an envelop.
Yesterday did read a little in my National Geographic, cut out the Easter treat boxes, so I need to stamp and assemble them, and made a grocery run (Sprouts and King Soopers). Clean fresh sheets are on the bed, camis are drying and the dark/colored clothes are in the wash, just one more load and that chore is finished. Not sure what else will get accomplished today, hopefully the boxes will be ready to be filled next month. Costco called and my glasses are ready for pick up, probably do that on Monday.
Have a wonderful day and keep smiling, it's fun to make others wonder.
Linda

Hi! Spring is surely here, with its weather changes! Thank you, Cat, for the start each day. Today is cold and windy, so we'll probably be in for the day. We're both tired after our trip to Norman and back yesterday. We did go out to breakfast this morning. We wanted to make a normal start to our Saturday. DDIL should be bringing DGD3 by to get her gi before taking her to karate this morning, but we'll see if that happens. Testing is next week, so... Just something else we cannot control.
I put in a grocery order this morning, and we'll pick it up Monday. Monday, we'll also have the electrician here to do some work for us. So that could be a busy day, since DH has an early doctor appointment also. have a lovely day! Diane
