Good morning. The sun is shining & all is well.
Reading & relaxing is on tap for me today. Hopefully some snow will melt, my driveway is impossible.
Right now I'm just concentrating on my cup of Joe.

Sulli, are we the early birds? My DH had to leave for Tallahassee, so he was up and I heard him. Cloudy with a change of rain. Not much on my agenda, going to grandsons basketball game and think I'm going to a zumbathon. On my own for dinner Yay it's Saturday!

Slept so well last night. Yay! I am a bed tosser and my bed looked so neat this morning. Something to be said for sleeping soundly. So rare. I did not get up once!
I still don't have details on my friend but it seems that the issue is unrelated to the things I have experienced. Good thing because I wouldn't want to think that others will be dealing with this too.
Been playing with my spiralizer. Had zuch noodles for dinner and tried doing some butternut squash today. The squash was hard and odd shaped so I wasn't getting the same results. Will take practice or some things will just be easier. I like having a new option.
Off to shower and then get a walk in this morning. Beautiful day again today.

Good morning everyone.
DebDoesWW - I saw the havoc wreaked by the storm in southern California on the news this morning. Frightening for them. Similar to our Santa Cruz mountains, severe wild fires have denuded several mountainous areas in SoCal which puts them at high risk of serious mud slides.
Highway 17 through the mountains to Santa Cruz has been closed for periods of 12 to 24 hours two or three times recently due to big mud slides. That can make the commute to/from Silicon Valley impossible or increaseit to a round trip of 150 miles or more.
It is NOT raining here right now—and my fireplace is DRY this morning. Yay.
Today is our library’s monthly book sale, so I’ll be spending the day working there.
I had to try out the new cooktop last night by making some spaghetti. The highest-power element brought the pasta pot to a boil in 7-1/2 minutes. Yes! That so beats the 30-45 minutes the older cooktop required, and I don’t think water ever got to a “rolling” boil on the old cooktop.
I wish everyone a great day and weekend.

Morning, All! Busy here trying to get life taken care of before we leave in the AM. I am not a fan of hot weather, but it will be lovely to not be lugging a heavy coat, etc. However, I'm going to look like a winter crow, no way am I digging for spring clothes! I finished the tax files last night, yay, indeed, so hopefully we can finish things up as soon as we get back. Have a good one! thyme2 I am so dependent on good sleep....hurrah for you!

ksbruns good morning Kathy, I hope your flight is an uneventful one and that you have a wonderful trip. We are showing thunderstorms here on Monday, I know you are going to be northwest of me but make sure you grab some kind of rain gear, I'm sure you remember the gully-washers we get. ⛈💧💦☔️

Checking back in. It is 5:30 and 70 degrees and the sun is down...YUH!
ksbruns have a safe trip.
zazzles your weather has been crazy. It is weird how the over water level can change so fast. Good cooking with your new stuff.
borntexan good job moving with all of your knee issues.
I was planning to cook a pork tenderloin tonight but got off track and don't feel like eating much later so I will roast it tomorrow. Will pull some turkey meatballs out of the freezer with my veggies.
Think I will see what I have cued up on the DVR and settle in with dinner. Good Saturday evening to all!
