Hi June, Sunday we have nothing 'written in stone'. I did pick up a pot roast, so I'm thinking that I'll get that in the crock pot before bed, pop it in the fridge and tomorrow when we get up I'll put it on low and let it cook all day. Other than that, I do plan on walking. Just not as much as I did today LOL. Wishing all a good and restful sleep! Sweet dreams

LOL June. It's only late afternoon here in Las Vegas and I still have an overnight flight ahead of me. I posted my Tourist Day pictures on Instagram and Facebook if anybody wants to take a look. Sunday will depend on what time I get home, how tired I am and what needs to be done before I go back to work on Monday. But I do know this - veggies, veggies, veggies

Hi Everyone Susie, I am on West Coast time all the time Had a great Saturday and got so much done including my board report from September through April 1st. Then I will add April and May before I turn it in. The next months are busy with travel, more birthdays and social occasions so I did not want the whole year hanging over my head. I ate well Saturday too. Today there is more to do at home and in the yard. I will sketch out packing plans for our trip. Hope to get some pool time in San Diego. It is supposed to rain yesterday but hopefully the storms will be from the north and not go south. Dinner tonight is grilled mahi mahi with grilled pineapple slices, Asian stir fry , a Trader Joe mix, and a salad. Hoping for another good day. Have a restful Sunday.

So far the only thing we have planned is church.
We have a brand new calf born tonight.Ah the simple joys of country living.LOL.
Sunday goals:Stay within points, drink lots of water and since it will probably be too cool and windy to walk I guess I will do the recumbent bike again.I really need a new one but I can't find one in my price range with good reviews.
Have a great day all.

Good morning!
Goodness this was a busy thread last night.
I wondered if we ever explained to Becky and Cathy why our thread operates as it does. Since Audrey lives in California, we jumpstart our thread at night. Doing so makes it easier. While I usually host, anyone of us can start the thread. Hopefully, everyone of us consider this "our" thread, not "my" thread. I try to start the thread between 8-9. Am glad to know if I do not, then someone will that night or the next morning.
I can honestly say that we are happy for anyone to post however little or lot that they do.

Ann Great minds think alike. Ha ha ha... I had debated whether or not to make a pot roast, too. We still have two pieces of vegetable lasagna left. It has to make an appearance today, be frozen, or shared w/ R's friend. I think of relaxing days like yours as one's of quiet contentment. Or a great day to stick my nose into a book.
Susi Thx for sharing your vacation pictures! I actually caught quite a few. For the last 6 weeks, I have been occasionally checking FB. Knowing that you are in Vegas, I tried to be more vigilant. Have been rewarded w/ lots of images of you having a great time. It's nice that you will have a little more time before heading home. Bet that those vegetables will taste even better than usual!
Audrey San Diego is a nice area. Will you be staying for a long weekend? Understood. I usually would rather be prepared well in advance rather than rush around. Wish that we had either Trader Joe's or Whole Food nearby. Sounds like you have a solid plan for a good pre-vacation plan.

Becky Ha ha ha. ..farm animals do everything on their own schedule. But you & your DH know that! Hope that everyone got enough rest through the night.
Enjoy your church service and whatever else occupies your time this Sunday.
Do you have any of those used sporting goods stores in your area? Sometimes they have good equipment for sale. My bike was a floor model from Sear's.
Cathy You have a good vision for putting together a healthy day!

Sunday's goals
Hit the grocery stores for basics. See if DH will finish pulling off the pork from the bone and then freeze it into smaller packets. While his pork is delicious, my stomach can not tolerate the greasiness.

Good morning all. I just put the crock pot on so we'll eat around 5:00 is. I assembled it last night so all I had to do this a.m. was add the meat and plug it in These days, I'm all about quick and easy. Susi I just messaged you my email address. I hope it went through. Sometimes I have trouble getting it to work for some reason. Nothing to do with the 'site' but everything to do with the 'operator' Audrey you have another very productive day planned. Enjoy your supper. June I haven't had veggie lasagna in awhile. Now that you've been talking about it, I must make it. Funny thing is that, like my soup, it comes out differently each and every time No real recipe...I just add as I go along! Cathy I LOVE the 'think before eating' Lots of times I'll see something that Carl left on the counter and grab it! Not good! Becky good luck fining a new recumbent bike. I envy you....with the new calf I've never seen anything being born! Waving to Pam LaDonna MJ and anyone else I may have missed. Need to do the rest of my online stuff before coffee!

My goodness! Very busy times ahead Audrey. But I know you are superorganized and will get it all done. Ann - You've got mail Becky - Hope the weather holds out for a walk. I think a new calf is exciting! Good plan Cathy! June - You have no idea how much I want veggies!!! Hope you get to relax today! Can you convince R to trim it before smoking it? I do that with all cuts of meat before I cook it. Flight was early, shuttle right on time and no traffic on the way home. Carol had left earlier to take care of the ferals so Charlie and I met up with her and Frankie. Yes, Charlie missed me. :-) I upgraded my flight so I was able to doze instead of being jammed upright but I am wiped. Made a BLT w/cheese (yeah the lettuce lasted long enough!). That will hold me until after a nap and food shopping, along with laundry.
