This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

GM Cats. How are you all this am? I had Canadian Bacon this am--the first time in my life, I think. It wasn't bad. Low in points, although I had it on a light english muffin--which ended up being a higher point breakfast then I normally eat. I have to state a NSV from yesterday. I had 3 extra kids over for playdate. I ordered pizza for the 6 kids that were there. I had 2 slices of pizza, (15 points) in which I was comfortable with. Talk about mind changing, eating guilt free! I finished the day out well due to some good choices for the rest of the day.
Shari: 1. Can you explain why light multigrain english muffins are 3SP and the regular light english muffins are 2SP? and 2. Is there a way to see at a glance how many SP you consumed in a day. Sort of like that month calendar with the blue dots, but it would tell you how many SP you ate? I suppose I'll have to track that myself. Speaking of blue dots, do they ever explain that in meetings, or do you discover it on your own when using the app?
Today is a somewhat lazy day. Birthday party, a Michaels run to get ingredients to make fluffy slime, and a grocery shop, oh and a work out in. Which I think I'll sign off and go do now.

Good morning! It is a beautiful day, and I should be out in it. But I'm in my pajamas. I left my better walking shoes at work and have to decide which exercise I'm going to do in the old, beaten up ones. Gym for Netflix distractions? Or walk with headphones for podcasts in bad shoes? Decisions.
Melinda, I found your advise and experience for Frieda powerful and empowering. What an awful year for you, and look at all the good that followed! You really did learn to stand up for yourself.
In the meantime, I am charging my Valentine's robotic vacuum. I haven't named it yet. I am excited to see what it can accomplish in my perpetually gritty house. The instructions are about 20 pages long. Big print, admittedly.
Shari, you made me laugh about the "taking your puppy" effect of your news. How far will DSis's new home be from your expected locale?
Oh, MCat, that's funny/sad about DW, with your own plans pending. But the cool thing is that it's huge, and in a way, ExH will do the dirty work of helping DS figure out just what he wants to do/not bother doing again/is left undone. The best moments I had with my kids were so spontaneous, there's no one right way to experience it.
No big plans for this weekend, except I'd like to see the Lego Batman.
Good luck for a swift sale, Susan; enjoy your weekend.
Spring break is closer than I realized. I just found out DGF and her family will be here while we are gone. I am sad to miss them but happy to offer them Mr. And Mrs. T's Air BNB. They are always such gracious hosts when we are in their area.
Golly, Linda, I could no more navigate a crowded zoo with a double stroller + 3 than I could fly without the Peter Pan ride beneath me. You are brave and strong, Grandma Lioness Linda.
Off we go!

Frieda, Applegate Farms has a nitrate free Canadian bacon that is very good.

Hi All. Just a pop-in to address Frieda's questions. Another day of Humphrey w sore throat (mainly) and associated symptoms. Trying to pack and sort. F, I don't have a fancy answer about the E Muffins, other than SPs answer to calories, sat fat, sugar, and protein. It could all be just a smidge higher in whole grain ones, pushing it to 2.5 and it would read 3 SP since we don't deal in 1/2 points. I don't think you can get an automatic scan of points per day, other than tracking on your phone showing how many SPs you have left. That shows usage as you track. I have heard people who came in knowing all about the blue dots from their phones through the app, or talk on Connect. We have also had it brought up in meetings to explain and converse about. Hope this addresses your questions Back another day, Kits.
