I have no idea why I was so tired the day before yesterday...even took a 45 minute nap in the afternoon and went to bed early that night. Yesterday was back to normal again. Today is Wednesday and there will be food. The plan is to avoid the chips and nuts and eat veggies if there are any then limit portions at lunch. It will be a good day.
PAM: What do you take to occupy your time when you have to wait for someone in an appointment? OR...you just find yourself waiting? I usually have a book in my purse but now the the nook died I don't carry it with me and the laptop is too big to take everywhere. Might need to get a sketchpad or something instead.
CHERRY: I know you will miss your son at Easter but how fun to be with your daughters for the holiday!
BEVERLY: You gave me my first smile of the day with your comment about the "drug problem" and the lines at the pharmacy. I am hoping your weigh-in went well and look forward to what you have to share about your first week back OP. And, what you think of the new program.
LYNN: I hope the doctor gets your medications sorted out soon so you can be fit as a fiddle and ready to play again soon

Good morning friends,
Shaping up to be a nice day here. Sun is shinning!!
Well, after a week of doing pretty well food wise, tracking everything I ate, trying to get in at least a tad of exercise every day, I weighed in & was only down .6. I won't let it discourage me. I am the slowest loser in the world. I have to stick with this, I just don't want to go back to 4 blood pressure meds per day & not being able to walk without pain in my knees. The plan is ok. I try not to eat many of the zero pt foods (just mostly fruits & veggies), I realize that everything has calories. My main source of protein is chicken. I am not much of a fish eater. I do like tuna salad, but that's about it.
Not much planned for today, we are going over to SIL's for a late lunch, I am going to take my own chicken & salad (I have it left over from last night). I don't think she will be offended, she knows how I struggle. Tonight is my women's club meeting. I am looking forward to it. We are stuffing Easter eggs tonight for the children's Easter egg hunt. It is always a lot of fun.

Good morning. Today it is supposed to be sunny with a high of 48. Tonight and tomorrow morning there is a chance of snow/rain but later the high is supposed to be 61. The downside is wind, both today and tomorrow.
I have been managing to get in some exercise most days. Yesterday was hand weights, pushups, mini squats and stretches. Today will be aerobic dancing. I've done pretty well, and I intend to keep it up. It is necessary. Hopefully I'll be able to do a little more walking when the weather gets nicer. I have done some walking on the treadmill, but I'd rather be able to walk outside.
Not much else going on today, just the usual household stuff. Now it's time for meds and breakfast. Have a nice day, beaches.

Hi all...just got back from a meeting, got the car washed and stopped at the store for a few groceries. It is beautiful out today...65 degrees.
Feeling better today, will do some laundry and making a pot of soup.

Hi beaches. Home from workout and shopping. Tonight we have tickets to the Spurs / Nuggets basketball game. We always enjoy seeing the San Antonio Spurs. My sister in law works for the Nuggets and is able to get us tickets. We are thankful.
Cathy: I often catch up on line with my phone when I have appt. I can also read books on my phone with my kindle app.
