Happy National Walking Day. I hope everyone had an opportunity to get outside and take a stroll.
Kathy, I finally saw the episode where the Doctor and Clara first met, The Snowmen. Was it a Christmas special or a regular episode? I like her but she's no Rose Tyler.
Is your weather more springlike today, Chele? Do you plan to plant any veggies a little later in the spring? How was Iggy's evening out with clients and did you enjoy your flounder and Italian bread? Dale ended up not taking the trees down, so that wasn't a bad thing.
Becky, I guess after you paid off your bills, the credit card companies think you have all kinds of extra money. Don't you wish? I hope your weather was warmer for your morning low today I'm ready for spring! We are at 59, so not bad. Did you do any errands today?
Did you take a week off from the museum, Linda? Are things back to normal in your household now? How is Micki's tummy? How's healthy eating going so far this week?
Liz, are things the usual zoo at St. Crazy? Are you about 6 weeks out from vacay?
Dale ran into one of our neighbors from our cove yesterday (they live on a different road). We only see each other on the water and didn't even know their names. Anyway, they are from Port St. Lucie, FL, and have a 2nd home here. She was cruising the neighborhood hoping to talk to neighbors because they got broken into some time in the last couple of weeks and the thieves cleaned them out, clear down to the mattresses and toiletries. The crooks had to bypass their security gate but the house doesn't have an alarm and maybe they knew that. I feel really bad for them. Some of the lazy people around here think that anyone who can afford a 2nd home deserves to be ripped off. I hope they get caught but I doubt it will happen. It showed us that we need to be extra vigilant, even though it's rare that our house is totally empty. I think I have my to-do list for the day checked off, including dusting and vacuuming. I made an IP of savory oats and when that was done, I cooked a batch of cranberry beans for dinner. The double soak really reduces the digestive issues. I have gotten away from Fuhrman a bit, so not having nuts every day and am eating more carbs. I hope that is what is working with the weight losses for the past couple of weeks. My little girl has been unusually clingy today. Infact, she tried to get petted about 4am and has been plastered to me just about the entire day. Not sure why. She finally fell asleep, so I'm able to type right now without a dog draped across my laptop.

Kare, thanks for the start. We all have moments of anxiety and I guess Arya was having one of hers today. That is too bad about your neighbors being robbed. I would worry about that if I were away from home for too long. I never thought about double soaking the beans. That is a good idea. I haven’t been eating a lot of nuts because they seem to cause me some digestive issues. Seeds I can handle better.
I had a haircut this afternoon and it feels good to get some shape back to the hair. It has been a nice day so I went for a walk outside. I am glad I brought my scarf because it still felt a little chilly for my neck and ears at 60°. The sun in the car felt really good.
Waving to the rest of the gang.

Thanks for the start Karen.I did take a walk this afternoon. It was 71,cloudy and breezy and I figured the capri's and short sleeves would be fine. The winds were gusting out of the SSE and it was cooler than the temp sounded but I'm glad I got it done. Our low was much warmer at 50 degrees. We went to the bank,HEB and Walmart this morning and had to get gas since my knee appointment is tomorrow in Bastrop.OMG on your neighbors getting robbed.I usually have a cat or two across me when I'm trying to type but they must both be sleeping. We keep a big insulated water bucket in front of our storm door when we have the door locked so the cats can't get out.We are having periodic trouble with our deadbolt and the regular lock on the door doesn't lock anymore.I always nudge the bucket out of the way so I can unlock the door.Scooter was in a hurry to get inside so she nudged it with her nose and it fell on its side out of the way of the door.It was so funny because she had never done that before.
Chele I'm glad you enjoyed your haircut. They just showed on our early evening weather forecast it's supposed to get up to 88 tomorrow.I wouldn't mind that for one day anyway.
Waving to Kathy and Linda.
Liz I know you are probably having a normal week for St Crazy.I hope you can relax some tonight.

Karen, I'm pretty sure the Snowmen was a Christmas episode. I liked Clara too, but I think she was a little bland after Rose and Amy & Rory. She's playing Victoria now in the series on PBS and seems pretty good in it from what I've seen. That's really awful about the neighbor's house. I love nuts, but it's hard to eat just a few and the calories add up. Hope Arya sleeps better tonight. Chele, can I have some of that weather in the 60s? They're saying we're supposed to get up to 90 on Saturday. Ugh! I'm not ready for that. Glad you like your haircut. Becky, glad you were able to get out for a walk. It was just a little bit warmer here, but still very nice. Scooter was just trying to help you out! Liz, hope you're home and relaxing by now.

Glad you are having better weather.
Scary to have that kind of robbery nearby...what gall! They must have had a uhaul!
I spent the afternoon transferring pix to laptop which suddenly worked. Usually the Apple system refuses after the updates couple years ago.So I got All the ones on the ipad...1000....3 times! Deleted the extras and the ones that already were on the laptop. So tomorrow I can unload the trio to Costco for prints.
I also finished putting the ipad albums onto a thumb drive that has a little ipad end and a USB end. Next time i will just choose some to put there and then put it on laptop from that.
Micki has been fine since Saturday night, but threw up a little sometime late morning...found it later. He was hungry, peppy, no intestinal issues. I wonder if with allergies he coughs or barking causes this. Liver enzymes elevated, but no other symptoms.
