Linda, I hope Micki is doing okay today. Teddy used to throw up occasionally from his allergies. Hope you made it to Costco.
Becky, did you get a walk today? Did the temp make it to 88° It is only 55° and cloudy today. I got some steps in at Kroger.
Kathy, 90° already? Winter went fast. Have you started any home projects yet?
Liz, how are you holding up?
Karen, how did Osteo and hydromassage go today? How did Arya do while you were gone and Dale was in the office? I used to give webinars from my home office and some times Teddy would start barking like mad at the closed door.
I went hunting for cheaper car and home insurance with reputable companies and they are all about the same. One rep told me that since we have been with the one company so long we would be better off sticking with them because they would give us more leeway if we had a run of claims. Then I went to Kroger to top up on veggies and OJ.

Chele, we have two different insurance companies which want us to bundle, but it bever is better so I leave it alone! You should get a discount for years with them. I went to higher deductable on house since you only use it for disasters or they raise it or cancel it! Have you checked for age ,garage, or fewer miles driven discounts?
Micki was fine two days then threw up a little sometime mid Wed..peppy, no intestinal issues,hungry....wonder if a lot of barking with allergies got him coughing and did it. Been ok since.
Bird of paradise grows in ground here with enough water and pm shade.
Off to grocery store for couple things before coupons expire and bank to pay credit card bill.
Door refinisher coming pm to do maintence coat on the double wooden doors that get winter sun and summer blistering heat.

Thanks for the start, Chele. I got my Vitamin C this morning and my Vitamin D on the trip home this afternoon. Probably good advice from the insurance rep. We have been with State Farm forever and have always had good service, which is sometimes worth paying a bit more for. But I don't think they are more expensive for the coverage we have. We have all our insurance with them except for the special policy on the '49 Cadillac. Dale is talking about cutting back to part time this summer, so I am also looking for ways to save a little money. Our best bet would be to go back to basic landline service and cut all the extra stuff that we really aren't using. That could save us $50 a month. When I'm away, Dale works on the dining room table and takes conference calls in the bedroom on the corded phone. Arya hangs out with him or sleeps on the couch. If he has to go down to the office to do a webinar, she is ok with it as long as he isn't gone for long. What kind of veggies did you get at Kroger? Did they stop taking Visa? I heard they were going to because the fees went up. I've been going to Publix, so I haven't been to Kroger in a while.
Linda, why do you suppose the laptop suddenly started working? Glad you got your photos downloaded. The neighborhood thieves must have had a big uhaul and a lot of help. It's a 2-story cabin and I'm guessing at least 4 bedrooms. We can't see their house from our property, so we wouldn't have known anything was going on. That's one of the downsides to having large wooded lots. Good time to get your door finished. I hope it went well.
I knew I recognized Clara from somewhere, Kathy. I've seen the ads for the PBS series but haven't seen the show. Am I right that she lived in both the 19th and 21st centuries? Will that be explained at some point? Was today grocery day with DM? I got a BOGO on Dr. Praeger's burgers so I'll have one for dinner tonight. Our high for the day will be low 70s. Wish we could split the difference to give you some cooler temps.
Becky, have your temps warmed a bit from yesterday? I know how chilly wind can be. I hope you didn't get close to 90 like predicted. What was on your agenda today?
One more day, Liz. Do you have your rheumatology appointment made yet? How's Zoe's tail?
I made the 25% Club at OsteoStrong today. That means I am 25% stronger than when I started. And, I get a free Hydro Massage next week because the receptionist gave me a coupon today, so it's been a big day. Despite the massage, I think I'm going to be a bit sore because I really pushed it on the Osteo machines. I made a quick stop at Earth Fare for purple sweet potatoes and did the rest of the grocery shopping at Publix. I treated myself with a car wash on the way home. My car was nasty from driving in all the rain we've had over the past 6 weeks. It's nice and shiny now. It's warm enough to have dinner on the screened porch and we can listen to the Giants game from last night while we eat. I got some Carolina slaw at Earth Fare, which will go great with my Praeger burger and roasted potatoes. Kind of like a picnic.

Chele, thanks for the early start. Winter, what winter? We didn't even get a freeze this year. Along with the heat, thunderstorms are in the forecast. I hope we get at least one more cool down before the long, hot summer gets here. My first home project is cleaning out and decluttering and that will take some time. I wanted to bundle my car and home insurance when I bought my house, but my car insurer wasn't selling home owner's insurance in FL. I've been with both companies a long time now and I agree, it's probably better to stay put. I've had to make claims with both of them and they were good about handling them. Linda, I got my car insurance adjusted for lower miles and that did save a bit. Hope Micki is doing better. Karen, yes, Clara appears in different time periods and it is explained at some point. She continues on with Capaldi and I liked her much better than the last companion he had. Congrats on making the 25% Club and the free Hydro Massage! DM and I braved the store today and it was a zoo for some reason. I never can predict it there. I have 2 new boxes of Dr. Praeger's in my freezer too. One of them was a pollock burger which I think is something new from them, so I'm curious to see how those are. I probably won't have one until next week though since I need to use up some other stuff. I also got another bag of those Capri veggies while they were on sale. We've decided to switch our shopping day since this is the first day of the new sales flyer and it seems like they don't have all the new prices out and the old prices down. I had two things that didn't ring up with the right price and it turned out they still had tags out from last week. They gave me the price that was out there, so I'm glad I caught them while she was still ringing things up. It happened last week too, so I'm seeing a trend here. The picnic dinner sounds great. Enjoy!
Waving to Liz and Becky.

Linda, we already bundle and we have the low mileage discount for both cars, safe driver discount, age, garage, everything we can think of. Iggy agreed to leave it alone. That is a gorgeous bird of oaradise in hour avatar.
Karen, congrats on the strength improvement and the upcoming free massage. I hope you aren’t too sore tomorrow. Part time for just for the summer or going forward? Either way, good for him. I got some zucchini, asparagus and red pepper along with some Italian parsley and green onions. I am going to sauté some veggies tomorrow and make some pasta.
Kathy, no freeze? I am sure that the fruit and veggie growers were happy about that. We like a good hard freeze around here to keep the bug population down in the spring and summer. I would imagine home owner’s insurance premiums are quite hefty in FL due to all the hurricanes you have had in recent years. Decluttering is an ongoing project here. I get stuff cleaned out and Iggy finds more from somewhere. Good luck.

Chele, I'm not sure how the homeowner's insurance compares between states. I know it's much more expensive if you're actually on the coast vs. inland where I am. One thing the companies did after the year we had 4 hurricanes was to put a big fat hurricane deductible on the policies. Mine is 2% of the home's value. They also stopped covering exterior things like porches, pool enclosures, and fences. So, you pay more and get less coverage. What a deal!
It was good for the farmers to not get a freeze. I hate to think about the bug population though. I also think the warmer than normal winters can affect our water temps which leads to better conditions for hurricanes forming. I have only myself to blame on the clutter. I used to clear out pretty good every time I moved, but I've been in this house longer than anywhere else.

Thanks for the start Chele. It got up to 90 today and I did get a walk in after we finally made it back home from my knee dr appointment.
Karen I had State Farm for auto insurance for years but they finally got too expensive for what we were insured for.My dad put me on his State Farm and I never cancelled until 2 yrs ago.My dad left them before he died.We went to Bastrop for my ortho surgeon appointment.I got one cortisone shot in each knee to tide me over until I can get the gel shots. He wants me to get new x-rays but we spent so much time there today waiting for the dr(People were there who had to wait longer than me)and Kenneth was starving so I told him we would go to the facility he wants me to go to first of next week. They don't have any x-ray machines where he works.I have to wait for the Medicare approval anyway.I think the shots help a little and I went on a walk and while they didn't hurt as much as normal my body is just tired so I'm through for the day.Good for you being in the 25% club.
Kathy We had a low of 31 either Mon or Tue and today it hit 90 here and 91 in Austin.

Becky, glad the shots help. They don't work for everyone.
about when the door guy was to come , they called and asked when I wanted to do it! They had computer and phone issues and were horrified that I was expecting them and they had lost it. So it will be May 7. I was glad as I have not been well.
Watching Mrs Wilson from PBS. riveting.
Got the photos finally straightened out, uploaded and they are printing at Costco. House got cleaned and dh picked up Italian for supper. Good thing as I am not uo for it.

Linda The odd thing is when I first went to this doctor 3 or 4 yrs ago the cortisone didn't help at all.I can't say this will help over the long haul but it's just in the meantime until I can get Medicare approval and he can order the injections. So hopefully the cortisone will help until I can get those.
I have to laugh everytime you say you are watching Mrs Wilson because that is my married name.
