diva49, **whispering** I hope no one finds you to change your plans. Good luck! We're enjoying lovely spring weather in Houston. Lows in the 60s, highs in the low 80s with clear skies. I hope it lasts. Taking DH to a dental appointment and then will be doing laundry. No other plans yet. I'm IN!

Good morning!
No plans for today beyond the usual. Waiting for fencing bids to finish coming in and then we will decide. Whatever we choose it will be at least five weeks before they can start.
Cooler today but sunny. Tonight the plants come in as there is a chance of freezing temps.
Have a great day, everyone!

So far, feeling better this morning than I have for a couple weeks. Die Sonne scheint und der Himmel ist blau. [One of the few sentences in German I can still remember since studying it in college for a semester. Don't know why that popped in my head.]
Yesterday I received my first meal kit shipment from Sun Basket, the third meal kit service I've trialed. I was really wowed! Especially after Hello Fresh. Most ingredients are organic and they are higher end ingredients than Hello Fresh or even Blue Apron. Hello Fresh vegetables were usually just regular carrots to be roasted, grape tomatoes, or similar, and a fairly simply prepared meat and too many potatoes! Two regular carrots cost them very little. Sun Basket, on the other hand, included a salad with a Thai style salmon (large jalapeno pepper, whole lime, fresh mint, fish sauce) that had organic cucumber, watercress, a yellow carrot and a purple carrot with vinaigrette. Big difference. Sun Basket is a bit more expensive, but honestly, given the difference in ingredients, it's a better deal.

Good Morning I feel like I should salute MJ when I see her posts Actually my neighbor's son-in-laws are both Marines. Another one's son graduated from UCLA with a full ROTC scholarship and plans to be a Marine fighter pilot flying F35s. Even DH was attached to a Marine unit his last year in the Navy as a gunfire spotter. So I salute you MJ as the best grandmother ever. It was a very windy night and I need to clean leaves out of the pool before I go to my manicure and pedicure this morning. I will also walk the dog. I volunteer in the kindergarten classroom 12:30-2 p.m. working with math groups. They are such adorable kids. Most are extremely poor as it is downtown near the regional hospital but it is a science magnet for gifted students so half the kids like my grandson are there voluntarily. I was so proud of the lowest performing group yesterday because with my guidance they nailed the assignment. "I put 7 empty jugs in the recycle bin. To fill it up I need 10. How many more do I need?" They had to draw and color the jugs, right the math equation and then the sentence, "I need three more." I showed them how to find the right words from their prompt and they were so proud and happy when I said they would get As. Dinner tonight is Skinnytaste turkey meatloaf with roasted Brussels sprouts and carrots. It is going to be at least 10 degrees cooler than it was yesterday.

Good morning. Iβm in.
The weather took an unexpected turn for the better and we have blue sky and sunshine. Yay.
Today I will do freezer cleaning so I have room to freeze meals to carry me through construction.
Thatβs the morning report.

I'm in. Installers are here changing 2 doors in the basement. We changed one to a fire-rated door & another one that needed better insulation. Heading to the dr later to check my ear. It's clogged & hearing is limited. Ugh! On the plus side, the weather is beautiful. I opened all my windows to let in some fresh air. Hope everyone has a nice day.
