Good Afternoon Chicks and thanks for the start Chele.
Chele - Adorable avatar!! That's quite an herb garden you were posting about! No herbs for us; Gary used to be the green thumb of the family but doesn't take the time or have the inclination anymore. He does do a nice job with the bushes and flower beds in front of the house. I have a number of solar garden stakes that he does a great job of placing. We were just about 40 this morning going up to 50 barely here in the city. Yesterday was raw and chilly but today at least there has been sun.
Kathy - the tugs and the processes seem to be doing better this week. They have modified the model so that it's more manageable and although they are still asking for management volunteers; it appears to be quieter. How is the weather there today? Are you still very warm and stormy?
Becky - you've certainly been seeing up and down temperatures as well as Linda. Glad you've been able to do some walking with it not being ridiculously hot. I suppose we should all be glad we're not in Iowa or NE with the multiple feet of snow and crazy winds! What are the chances of 2 bomb cyclones in one season???
Linda - how are the allergies today? Has the new antibiotic kicked in for the UTI? It took me 2 doctor visits and a visit to a urologist to finally get mine gone and done! How is DH doing today? Micki sounds like he's suffering like my Zoe. She will get her allergy shot on Sat. but we've been giving her Benedryl as she's miserable with all the pollen. We're running 10.5 on the pollen scale for the past 3 days.
Karen - how is the tick bite? I received an email back from the physiatrist and I must have missed it; but one test did come back positive. That being said he still stated there's no real reason to suspect RA. I need to get up to Rehab and schedule my PT appts. Today was not a good day for my joints in general. A great deal of pain from the time I woke up. Sounds like the "feets" are making pretty good progress. You were a busy gal yesterday and I hope all went well with Osteo today. How are Dale and Arya doing? Wally had an accident on the carpet last night that we're still trying to figure out when it might have happened. Zoe is fairly miserable with her allergies and her tail. I guess now SM is happy since one of her DS's is coming home for Easter.
I hope you all have a great and safe afternoon. I am off to fight the forces of evil once again. Ciao for now~

Good luck at the Dark Tower,Liz.
Cute picture, Chele
Allegies...augh. 11.2/12. My perennial headache. Bob , I think, really has a cold on top of it...coughing upstuff and voice going. He had a bad night and went back to bed. I was up every 45 min until after 2....don't you love deciding where to go depending in bathroom availability! I think the new antibiotic is starting to work.
I need to go to the store for sick people food.

Chele, thanks for the start. That picture is so cute!
Karen, way to go! Nice picture and you look great.
We started out really foggy this morning and then it looked like it was going to storm this afternoon. The clouds cleared up and I got a clear view of the SpaceX launch from my front porch! We got a pretty good rumble from it after the launch, but didn't hear sonic booms from the landings.
Liz, one more day this week to fight those forces of evil. Hope it's a calm one.
Linda, hope everything clears up and you're feeling better soon.
Becky, hope you had a nice walk.

Kathy, nice shot of the launch. I bet you didn’t miss those sonic booms. Have you seen the picture of the black hole 55 million light years away?
Liz, good to hear from you. I am glad they got the tugs working out better. I hope you are not volunteering. No need to be Frodo. The herb garden sounds like a lot but it’s not. The tomatoes are a lot more work. I skipped planting a couple of years so I know how Gary could lose interest. I hope you get your PT scheduled soon. You need all the help offered for your poor joints. Poor Zoe! We were windy and partly cloudy but warm today at a high of 79°.
Linda, I am glad to hear this round of antibiotics seem to be working better. Geez, the whole family is suffering from allergies. I hope you all feel better soon. We brought the rosemary pot inside for the winter this year and it still died off. It got lots of sun too.
Becky, I hope you found everything you were looking for at the store. How was the walk? How did the knees do? Give Scooter, Marcie and KK a pat for me.
Karen, hey, you’re a poster woman for Osteo! You look fab! Did you go anywhere afterwards?
Our 1.5 yr old water heater started leaking yesterday so the company put in a new one today. The heater was under warranty but we had to pay labor costs. Good thing we hadn’t spent our tax return. I got in about 20 flights of stairs today going up and down the basement stairs and to the second floor. My legs are killing me. The guy was here from 9 am to 1:30 pm. I really needed to go to the grocery so as soon as he was done I went to Kroger. I picked up a bag of blood oranges, Cara Cara oranges and some Opal apples. I tasted a blood orange and it is so sweet. It tastes like a cross between an orange and a raspberry. I usually don’t go in the afternoon and it was filled with octogenarians and first shift workers. I only saw one Clicklist cart, though, and everything was well stocked.
Have a good evening, all.

Thanks for the start, Chele. As I remember, that is not Teddy because he wouldn't dress up for you totake a photo. This one is adorable, however. Has Iggy had a lot of evening obligations this week? What was on your agenda for today?
Becky, like your house, every day is national pet day here, even with just Arya. I hit the motherlode on berries today. I had to buy strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries for me and also got extras plus a pineapple and red grapes for the Monday evening fruit salad. Did you get enough grocery shopping done that you won't have to go back on the weekend? How were your mid 80s? We got there as well. Felt good. I know you enjoyed your walk.
WOW, Liz! You've checked in with us twice this week. I'm glad your tugs are behaving better this week. As I have often said, technology is great when it works. Are the docs thinking OA and not RA? Did the doc say if there might be some anomaly leading to the positive result on the one test? Definitely get that PT scheduled, given how cranky your knees have been. Poor Zoe with the tail plus allergies. I hope Wally's accident was just one of those things and won't be repeated. He seemed to be doing so well. Does Gary miss not having time for gardening? I guess SM doesn't care if she sees you with her sister coming for Easter. That's really sad and I'm sorry for you. The tick bite isn't as swollen as it was and no other symptoms to indicate I got infected. I did get a homeopathic remedy today called Ledum Palustre that is supposed to help just in case and I will take it until statistics say I'm out of the woods. Feets still improving. I told Dale my goal for the coming week is to try to wear shoes other than my big Crocs or sandals. I think the big Crocs are a bit too big since the swelling is down. I like to stay busy. I really hated all those weeks that I had to stay off my feet. Dale and Arya had their usual daddy/daughter time today and things went OK at Osteo, but my numbers weren't as high as last week for some reason. I expected my number to go up compared to last week but it just wasn't to be.
Linda, I hate that your pollen is still so high. Glad to hear the new antibiotic seems to be working for you. Sorry Bob is also under the weather. What constitutes "sick people food"? How is Micki doing on the diet change?
Thanks for the kudos, Kathy. The photo was supposed to be posted last week but it didn't happen for some reason. It's rather unusual for you to have fog, isn't it? Nice picture from your front porch. That is so cool that you can see it. Nice that it wasn't a middle of the night launch so you didn't have to get out of bed to see it or be awakened by rumbles. How's the decluttering going? Was your weather comfortable enough that you got to walk today?
I had very light traffic on my way to Knoxville this morning but it was the exact opposite coming home. I did the NuStep then had time to go to Earth Fare for some of the fruit I bought (had a BOGO on most of it) and got some lavender conditioner (ticks hate lavender, tea tree, and rosemary, so I may add the latter two essential oils) and replenished some of my essential oils because they were on sale plus I had a coupon. I enjoyed my FREE Hydro Massage and I don't think I'm as sore as I was last week, at least not yet. Hit Publix on the way home to pick up the rest of what I needed. Staying home with Arya tomorrow so Dale can go to an estate sale and a gun show in Knoxville. I plan to change the bed and put on thinner sheets and the summer weight quilt because we have all been roasting the last couple of nights, even with the ceiling fan on. I also have some cooking to do.

Chele, we cross posted. You only got a year and a half out of your water heater??? That's awful! At least it was under warranty and I hope labor wasn't too costly. I don't think I saw any blood oranges around here this year. I used to get those at the other house and they are probably my favorite orange. I don't know about you, but having to deal with OPs and first shift wouldn't be my idea of fun and you know how I hate grocery shopping. Not too bad only having to navigate around one Clicklist cart and nice that they weren't out of everything. Guess they are getting ready for the weekend.

Liz I'm glad the tugs are working better this week.Today felt good compared to yesterday. It only got up to 81 today compared to 91 yesterday. It's supposed to be a little cooler tonight but back up in the 80's tomorrow.Although I don't like it when it gets over 100 I would prefer that to snow.Poor Scooter has never even seen snow and she will be 6 yo May 1.I'm sorry you have been in so much pain with your joints.
Linda I hope you and Bob feel better soon.
Kathy Nice picture.Yes I did get my walk in.
Chele I did find everything I needed this morning. We are going to Walmart tomorrow.I do need drinks and they are cheaper there and Kenneth needs bananas. They are always too green at HEB.I will look at other stuff while we are there.I did get a good 2 mile walk in.We had a slight breeze and more clouds than sun so it wasn't bad.My knees seem to do a little better when I walk but I have been having trouble with them on the recumbent bike. That water heater didn't last long.I haven't seen any blood oranges here but I think I would like that cross taste since I like raspberries.
Karen We usually go to HEB Mon,Wed and Friday and I'm able to buy enough fruit for the weekend. We were off on our days this week and have gone Tuesday and Thursday and I didn't feel comfortable buying enough for the weekend on a Thursday. So we will go back on Saturday. It's supposed to rain Saturday but just off and on Sat morning. It actually only got up to 80 and since it was breezy and more clouds than sun it felt good. You look good in the picture.

Karen, that is a great picture.
Sick people food at our house is fruit, apricot juice, ice cream for sick throat, chicken soup...mashed potatoes...
so...lot of errands, not much sleep.decided I had to buy new laptop because the 10 year okd one is dying....small Mac Air. went nuts trying to ,make one email work and there are not places to plug in stuff just two tiny holes where the power cord fits. data transfer will be a problem. interesting output or input both.
bought an apple adapter on amazon for thunderbolt 3 (usb 3) which is that tiny hole to connect old usb like our dvd/cd drive or flash drives. transferred some files by email. want to move some photos. logged into a bunch of stuff i store passwords for on the computer and saved them, and logged out...that stuff not linked to credit or such that is a pain to keep typing in...like these boards. maybe I will type on the laptop for these instead of one fingeron iPad which likes to guess words and change what I type!
all the ones from my phone and ipad loaded on from cloud.
