Karen, thanks for the start. Did you get any more energy this morning? I have been dragging my tail the past few days as well. Did you get to nap yesterday?
Kathy, I bet your DS and DM appreciate the weeknight festivities as well. I caught some of your clearing out vibes. Every time I go into the home office I open up a file cabinet and clear out another binder from my training days. One day when Iggy gets the clearing out bug we might be able to see the top of the file cabinets.
Linda, I feel the brain fog as well. Too bad you didn’t get enough rain to clear out the pollen. Is Bob back to normal?
Becky, I bet your legs were tired after all that walking. Too bad you couldn’t find sandals. I have been looking for walking sandals bit I can’t find any in a wide width that give my feet enough support.
Liz, half way through!
Not much on the agenda today. I did my workout and cleared some stuff out of a filing cabinet. I am waiting for UPS to deliver a pair of pants and a shirt for summer. A lot of my favorites are fraying and I am trying to just replace old clothes and not go overboard like I used to.

Chele, the allergies do cause fatigue.
We are heading back to heat in a couple days. Usually heat has killed off a lot of pollen by now...not this year. Waiting for the Claritan to kick in so the drip down my throat will slow and I can stop coughing which is adding wheezing when i lie down. I do not want to seem like tphoid Mary today.
I am hostess for Questers meeting this month which I fortunately set up at the museum for a “behind the scenes tour “ by my boss. So nobody at my home. Bought stuff at Sprouts for refreshments but need to make a fruit salad for it and us as one friend is duabetic, She had lower leg removed last summer.
Dh is a lot better but still coughing ...his allergies are bothering him. i

Linda, that was a great plan to have Questers at the museum. Not only does it keep you from having to host at your house, but gives them something new and exciting with the "behind the scenes" tour. And, I'll bet your boss loves to do that kind of thing. Sorry about your friend's leg. Fruit is a great idea as long as she will eat it. The other night at the master gardener potluck, my diabetic friend didn't touch my fresh fruit bowl but did have muffins, brownies, etc. Her philosophy is "I'll just up my insulin". So far she has kept all her body parts but I'm afraid it may only be a matter of time. I hope your and Bob's allergies will get a break from the pollen. I dusted the entire house today and the Swiffer started out white but was yellow by the time I finished. And it seems to be reforming despite not having windows open. I think it's on the ceiling fan that is about 14 feet higher than I can reach. I hope the Claritin helped get your symptoms to a manageable level so you didn't get called Typhoid Mary.
Energy level is about the same, Chele, and it hasn't helped that we have been oing to bed a bit later. The Giants are playing on the East Coast, so it's easier for us to see games real time. We decided to tape tonight's game starting at 8:45 (first pitch is 7:05) so we can get to bed on time. Between later nights and pollen, this week is kicking my butt. I got busy yesterday and didn't get the nap I wanted. I don't think I ever get the cleaning bug. How are the new duds? Where did you order from? I downsized my wardrobe when I retired and most of my stuff now is fairly casual. The dress clothes I kept I have only worn a handful of times. Have you looked at Chaco sandals? I think they have some wider sizes and I find them very comfortable to walk in.
Liz, what's your Easter weekend weather supposed to be like? I hope you'll have an event-free drive on Saturday and enjoyable weather on Sunday. Since it's a religious holiday, will you get Friday or Monday off? How are the knees and the pups?
According to the firefighter the other night at our meeting, Kathy, what makes FL so prone to urban wildfires is the vegetation that quickly catches fire and spreads, especially the palmettos. When the vegetation catches fire, it can spread at 45 mph. That's difficult to get under control, regardless of how many firefighters you have. What are your plans for Easter?
Becky, are you looking for any particular brand or style of sandal? Did you go to HEB or WM today? Every Wednesday I wonder if you are going to your favorite buffet in Taylor. Are you getting more rain?
We had some nearby excitement after I posted yesterday. A 21 year old local nut job with a criminal record walked up to 2 total strangers at a local outlet mall and shot both of them. A 24 year old woman from PA died and a 75 year old man from MA was injured. The shooter then killed himself. Kathy, it was in front of the Coach store at Tanger Outlets, which you have probably been to when you visited here. That's where the Corning store and Vera Bradley are, so it's a place I tend to frequent. Scary! I placed a CSA order this week because Dale wanted broccoli and also potatoes for me to make garlic fries. They a had chard and green onions so I got those for me. I will steam the chard with garlic and used about half of the onions in a pasta salad I made this afternoon to eat tomorrow. I also made a batch of cranberry (aka Roman) beans because I will be out of black beans after today. I also did a load of workout clothes that were mounting up, but also because I bought a set of short "magic jammies" and thought I would wear them after tomorrow's Osteo appointment. The shorts are long enough that they come down almost to my knees, so I hope that will help soothe leg/back muscles. It's going to be in the 80s tomorrow, so the long magic jammies might have been too warm.

Chele, your home office must look about like mine. It's going to be a long term project to get rid of stuff I no longer need. The paper stuff is the worst since some of it has to be shredded and I've been accumulating it for way too long. How are the new clothes? Linda, great idea not to have the meeting at your home and the behind the scenes event sounds interesting. I can't wait until our Sprouts opens in June. I hope the pollen lets up soon. We should enter our rainy season next month, which will help things here. Karen, they do controlled burns around here to try and get rid of the vegetation. I think they've paid a lot more attention to it since 1998 when we had a terrible year with wildfires. I hate the smoke from the burns, but it's a lot better than a wildfire. Wow on the shooting! That is very scary and very sad. I've never actually been to the Tanger Outlets, since our trips are usually much too short. We like to do one shopping day when we visit, but usually go to the Glades and the Villages in Gatlinburg. We try and save the shopping for a rainy day and spend the better weather days in the park. Publix was really crowded today, but it seems a little early for the Easter rush. There were a lot of students in there, including my nephew! DM is having Easter dinner or a late lunch at her house, so I will be having my yearly serving of ham. We're just having simple sides of sweet potatoes and other veggies, so it won't be a huge meal. Liz, do you get any time off for Easter? I've only worked for one company that gave Good Friday off. Hope the week hasn't been too bad.

Karen Thanks for the start.
Chele My whole body was tired yesterday after the walks.I wear a wide width too and it's hard to find any kind of shoe around here.I was looking for sandals I could start wearing to church. It's getting a little warm for my dress boots and since I am wearing a skirt and blouse for Easter Sunday I was hoping to find sandals but I may have an old pair back there somewhere.I like days where there isn't much on the agenda.
Linda I'm sorry about your diabetic friend and having her leg removed last year.
Karen I hope you get your energy back soon.I was looking for dress sandals. We went to HEB this morning. It has been months since we have gone to the buffet in Taylor. It's certainly not a weekly affair. On my morning walk it was just a drizzle but on the afternoon walk it was more like a shower after I got started.I just barely got damp. Our storms are scheduled after midnight and the eastern counties like we are in may not get it until 3-6 in the morning and then it's supposed to be over by 7:00 or so.It will be a little cooler in the 70's tomorrow afternoon thank goodness. That is scary.Be glad you don't live in Austin anymore because someone gets stabbed or shot just about every night. It's gone crazy.
Waves to Kathy and Liz.

She ate nothing! I made it through my. Questers meeting at the museum with refreshments. The tour was a success. Most people have no idea what a huge variety of stuff is not on exhibit. I tend to take it for granted since I have worked back there almost 14 years. Most people do not realize that museums have put it online these days.
Managed not to cough until almost the end of chat and eat time..talking sets it off.
My brother called and asked us over for Easter! He is nurse at a VA clinic and says there are three things like nasty colds or mild flu are going around...five day incubation...so now we are both sick and I said probably we should not come over Easter and give it to the entire family! oh well. cough cough.
