TOOT, TOOOOT! CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Here comes the Train to Thinsville down the track and into your station, so hop on board and enjoy the ride.
It's sunny and 51* this morning and going up to 82* with abundant sunshine and winds SSW 10-20 mph today.
I'm happy to have my computer back and be able to post again. Phyl, special thanks to you for keeping the Train thread going while my computer was in the shop. I think it will take a while for me to get back into the swing of things again.
I haven't had a chance to go back and read the threads I missed and I'm sure that will take a while, but it feels good to be able to post again.

Good morning! Welcome back, Doris! You were much missed, though Phyl did her usual great job of filling in. Today, DH and I still have our colds, so we'll stay in the house. We're still not sure about tomorrow. I hope we'll be able to go to church and feel okay for the family dinner to follow. I will make the potato salad today and get it in the fridge. This evening, I'll put the roast in the crock pot and it will be ready in time for dinner tomorrow. The rest of the family will bring everything else. I'm still thinking about whether to fix some green beans for the younger kids. Our 15 year old has asked to make the baked beans, and we told him that was great. The 17 year old usually makes deviled eggs. Our weather is cool today, but is expected to be warmer tomorrow.
Be happy! Diane

Good morning Doris & ATF,
Special thanks to Phyl for keeping the train going!
Rained all night and will continue today. Currently it's 61; the high for today will be 65.
Have been doing some cleaning so that my house looks good for Easter. Dyed a dozen eggs last night so that my boys will see colorful Easter things around my house.
So glad you are back with us Doris.
Have to get busy with the vacuum.
Have a great day!

Phyl,
Thanks again for doing such a great job of keeping the Train running while my computer was down. I have promised myself I won't leave coffee on the table where the computer sits and I just realized I had my morning cup of coffee just now and the empty cup is sitting on the table next to my computer. I may need reminders about that from time to time.

Diane,
Thanks for the welcome back -- its nice to be here again. I've missed everyone. My new computer keyboard did a lot of traveling around in the process of finally getting put into my computer. Who would have thought a few drops of coffee could make such a big problem.
I hope you and DH will both be feeling good enough to go to church tomorrow. Enjoy the family dinner tomorrow too. Its nice that your DGSs like to make part of the dinner and the whole family contributes to the meal.

Emily,
It sounds like you are about ready for your Easter dinner with the family and I hope you enjoy the day.
Our girls will be busy coloring Easter eggs this afternoon I think. MJ is cooking them right now.

I don't think either of my DDs color eggs anymore. and they really didnt like them when they were kids. My DD#2 with all the allergies is pretty sensitive to them and they give her a tummy ache for a couple days so try not to even put them in things like potato salad for her house. Now that the DGKids are all grown up and starting their own families not sure even they do them.
I thought I might color a couple but then thought I was not interested either. Love deviled eggs and pickled eggs but to much work for one person and too many eggs to eat for one person.
Going to DGSs house for a couple hours tomorrow before we head out to the buffet for dinner. Our reservation is for 3pm. My DSIL is going to be starving by then. He has a set schedule for food!! I am glad we are going to get to spend some time with them before we meet the rest of the group. His girl friends parents. This was their idea. We figured if we want to see my DGS we will go along with the plans. I am kind of wondering if there is an announcement coming from them. I could get excited about a wedding in the near future.
Welcome back Doris. Phyl did a great job filling in for you.

Doris the picture of the colored eggs were done with whipped cream or Cool Whip. and some gel egg coloring. Sounded really interesting and the eggs sure are pretty. didn't know if your granddaughters had heard about that or not. When I was looking for pictures I saw the web site for them.
Maybe I will try them for Mothers Day. !!
