I get an e-mail each morning at work with a motivational quote. Here's one from a few days ago. "Chase down your passion like it's the last bus of the night."
~ Terri GuillemetsIt made me smile, simply because of the mental image it inspired (but also did make me think of things that are important to me in different aspects of life). Is there one main aspect (passion) about healthful living that you can identify? Do you chase it down like the last bus of the night?

I need to do this one! I think that the one thing I need to chase is the journal. It is out and open but what goes in it should make for beautiful reading and right now it is incomplete, not pretty and could use some work with weighing, measuring and even embellishing. Hmm...

I need to chase "continuing to improve". As I type that, I realize I don't mean or want to sound like looking too much for perfection, but that I don't want to rest on my laurels. Maybe it doesn't even have to mean "improve" as much as making sure I'm doing what's right at this point in my life (lots of deep thoughts going on in my mind lately as I'm thinking what will be different when I retire).

I like to use the healthy unprocessed foods in different kinds of recipes. I enjoy trying different things in different ways.

I am always looking for ways to cut out the processed foods and get back to using "real" foods. But, right now, I am on the bus BEFORE the last one of the night, sometimes taking the easy way out instead of cooking from scratch.
Judy, Is retirement looming in your near future ? I would love to retire, but probably have 5-6 more years before I can.

I love eating fresh veggies, can't wait for our little garden to start to produce. Soon vegetable stands will be popping up all over. I have recently realized that I love steamed vegetables.
I like the visual of catching the last bus of the night!
I just love retirement.

"Chase down your passion like it's the last bus of the night."
~ Terri Guillemets
Love this Judy. Just what I needed to read tonight. I got up and went to my salon this morning and pushed the reset button after Easter and my birthday. I am chasing down my passion to move forward by cutting out refined sugar. I can and will do this. I’m moving forward, smiling, and aiming for blue. I want to get back to the lower decade once again. I guess that’s my passion. I’m now casing after it.
