⭐ No Excuses ⭐
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. * Ifyou give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN

First, want to thank jasimons, for the quote...she posted it in the 7 in 7 thread this morning.
Second, she asked if there was any part of the weight loss/maintenance journey that we were passionate about and I responded that I should be more passionate about the journal and making it beautiful. It is not beautiful at the moment and not accurate and not OP so...something to strive for.
In addition this made me think about "passion" and what I have been passionate about in the past...some things I was interested in or had a passing fancy for but when I think about it there has been no one "grand passion" that has driven me throughout my life AND in some ways I am thankful for that. I have a feeling that having interests that are wide and varied and then pursued at various times in one's life is much easier than one overwhelming passion that consumes one entirely...something about bonfires comes to mind...perhaps the coals are more sustaining than the tinder or the huge bonfire...though one does need the tinder, too. (and the tender)

If I have to chase that bus to make it, I be walking!
Loved your thoughts about the passion and interests over the years. I think you will enjoy making your journal more beautiful and as a result spend more time with it. It is nice to find new things that get us excited though.

Cute. One of my problems is that I have a lot of passions. I don't exactly have just a single passion either. I do love biking and do it daily. I also like looking for dinosaurs but those trips are quite spaced out. I do worry sometimes about folks who only have one passion like Rebecca Twigg. Rebecca Twigg is an American former racing cyclist, who won six world track cycling championships in the individual pursuit. She also won 16 US championships and two Olympic medals, the silver medal in the 1984 road race in Los Angeles, and a bronze medal in the pursuit in Barcelona in 1992. It is amazing she won the bronze after only 9 months of training following a severe injury.
She recently allowed folks to hear her story of how she loved biking since her first bike at age 7 and racing big time at age 14 etc. Sadly she couldn't fit into the IT world at a job after her racing days were over and has been homeless in Seattle for several years.
