Good Morning Walkers!
No exercise yesterday but did stay in my green zone of pts and JGTB. That's an NSV for me on a WI day - I had some urges to stay up late and eat DHs snack food but I did one of the mindfulness exercises and prayed & the urge did pass.
It's still cold 33F when I got up this am but sunny today. Yay!
NANCY - yes we are "out there" in the forest. Wow 86F! GFY with the 2 Miles. I'm slacking this week and need to get back into it.
RUTH - Enjoy your concert & good weather. I just watched them do the facials after lunch and enjoyed the chatting. Caught up on lots of news!
KELLY - GFY with the OP & 2 miles WATP. I hope the problem is minor. {{hugs}} and prayers. Enjoy your nice weather.
AMY - sorry you've been having sleep problems and problems eating but glad you're feeling better. {{hugs}} and prayers for you as well.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!
Cait

Good evening,
Kelly glad you had a good day yesterday, GFY getting in your WATP.
Amy WTG on your steps.
Cait your view is breathtaking. I live basically in the desert. We have mesquite trees, but they are usually very small.what trees we have we have planted. I live not very far from the Sandhills state park. We have plenty of sand, lol. Our pretty weather didn't last, today the wind blew terrible, sand in the air.
I did walk three miles today.

Good Morning!!
Well, Yesterday was a good day until I got a craving for Chilis. I did only eat half of my meal, but had a margarita and ate too many chips with salsa and queso. I was starving as I forgot my afternoon snack. On a good note a did not have an attack after eating it. I only did 1 mile of exercise yesterday. The temp was 75 and should be about that today too. Strange February weather. I'll take it though.
Uggh, Up extra early today. We have a meeting at 7 am and then another from 8-10am.
Ruth: We must have posted the same time yesterday. Fortunately, I do not get discomfort in my chest. Enjoy your nice weather. We will have to make arrangements to meet some time when you come to PA.
Cait: Beautiful picture. Looks peaceful.
Amy: Good job with your steps. Hope you are feeling better.
Nancy: Good job with all those miles. Hope you did not blow away.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!!

Good Afternoon, Walkers! Yesterday & today we walked 2.1 mi. It's a bit cold but I warm up fast & always end up sweating, no matter how cold it is. DH doesn't warm up as fast. Yesterday I also marched in place 20 mins = 1 mi. Today I'm planning to do the same. Up earlyish today for a work phone appt. I have been letting work slide & need to get back to it. NANCY - the blowing sand would keep me indoors for sure. GFY with the 3 miles. I'm inspired to try to keep pace with you! AMY - I'm so glad your eating plan is giving you that "satisfied" feeling. And glad you've found that counting steps is less pressure on you & is motivating! That GERD is miserable, I'm sure. A friend of mine started eating "whole foods plant-based" and no sugar or carbonated drinks, and has had relief from GERG. I don't know if you eat dairy products, but stopping that for a month might show you if that is contributing to the GERD. Here's a link to a good video about GERD & some studies about food and risk factors: nutritionfacts.org/video/diet-and-gerd-acid-reflux-heartburn/ You can also click on "view transcript" of you prefer to read it. The apples I know you love are helpful to avoid problems. KELLY - Glad you didn't have an attack. The chips for me are like a siren song luring me to crash on the rocks of compulsive eating :/ I don't eat cheese any longer, a trigger food for me, plus it's pro-inflammatory Cait 250/169.2/145 160.7 is my first 10% goal since my high weight 178.6 in July 2016 WW lifetime 11/4/2003 (In range - Lifetime goal 169) Overeaters Anonymous since 3/5/2008 - An urge is not a requirement. Good afternoon,
Amy glad that you got a good nights sleep. Good luck with your weigh in.
Kelly I could make a meal of chips and salsa. If I buy chips, I buy the small package because I know that I will eat them all. And most of those have three servings.and that is usually about twelve points.
Cait GFY on your walking and marching.
I walked four miles yesterday. Was moving all day. I had over 20,000 steps first time ever.I got the FB high tops badge on FB! May never do it again. I walked three miles today. I am determined to get 250 miles. As of today I am at 243. Nancy

Good morning. The concert was really good, our hotel was right across the street from the venue so that made it even better. No driving, parking, crabby DH!!! Friday we went over to E Stroudsburg to my sons and stayed til Sat. It was really nice too. Just adore that baby!!!!
Kelly, I forgot where you live in PA. That would be fun to meet up wouldn't it?? That is really good you did not have an attack after eating poorly. What is ERCP?
Amy, not sleeping is the WORST!!!! Glad you are doing better and WTG with the weight loss.
Cait, wow, that is absolutely beautiful.
Nancy, my mom lived in St George UT for a long time. I love that desert but when the wind blows the sand is awful!!
Did not get many miles in. Thur 3.7. Fri 3.6 and Sat 2.3
225.4/250 miles as of Feb 25
