We are walkers, joggers, bicyclists, and some do other exercise. We set goals and keep track by miles. You can set your goal for any amount, count your miles any way you wish. The goal is consistency with exercise.
We started Jan. 20, 2003 on the WW Challenge Central Board as "250 Miles by June 1" & we've done 35 five-month walking challenges, including the one we finished Oct 1, 2016.
The group challenge is to average about 2 miles a day, 13 miles a week, or 50 miles a month; if you do it, in 5 months you will have walked 250 miles, and if you have stuck with the challenge and a healthy eating program for that 5 months, you will see wonderful changes in your health, fitness, and size!
Some people will finish well before the target date & will go for more or another 250 miles, but others will go at a slower pace, and new members will join along the way, so each member is welcome to set her/his own personal goal and target date. The new group challenge which started Oct 1, 2016, is "250 Miles by March 1, 2017."

Good Morning!!
Sorry to be MIA. I awoke with a migraine on Friday and went to work late, so I did not get online. I was on the run most of the weekend. Eating too much and drinks were not friendly WW wise.
Hoping all is well with everyone. I did not have a chance to read all the posts since Thursday.
Waving to all. Sending skinny vibes. Happy walking!!

Good morning. Some days are just too busy, the only way I can see to make more time is to quit working.... DH isn't really going for that yet tho. There are just too many other things I want to do. I don't think I am going to get to 250 this time. I have to get 50 miles in by the end of the month, unless I walk a lot but I don't see that in my near future.
Kelly, good to see you back WITHOUT a migraine and back on track!!
Amy, that seems like a great idea to me with your treadmill.
Nancy, you are always so good with your walking.
Cait, you were so absolutely right, I NEEDED to do the exercise and I was totally avoiding it. I did have my ED therapist look at the app before I recommended it to other people in my group. She really liked it. So this morning I FORCED myself to do the raisin exercise (yes, I know it was day one) but I did it with a raspberry. I imagined the raisin one a couple of times so I did listen to it but imagining it was pretty vivid but NOT really doing it. I am happy I did it today. Now I can move on. I did the body scan today too.

Good Morning Walkers!
Yesterday I did march in place 1 hr = 3 miles while reading in the afternoon. Green zone of pts Sun & Mon. Sunday night I stayed up late but only ate some unsalted nuts & unsalted popcorn and stopped at 36 pts, before the upper end of my green zone of pts 37. Last night I did JGTB.
I had 14.1 mi last week & have 38.3 for this month, 268.1 for the challenge & 90.4 for the year.
It's been raining pretty steadily here in North State CA. This afternoon I'm going to a get together that my neighbors do each week. I've never been but since my other 2 groups TOPS & Bible study died off I've missed the camaraderie. From what I know They do facials together and bring food and chat. They used to do yoga too but BK longer. I'm not much for facials lol but apparently it's not required. 😀
Tomorrow we're going to town. I'll go to my end of month WW WI and DH does haircut and we'll grocery shop & errands.
Finishing up as best I can

Day 13 of Eat Right Now mindfulness training app. I'm a day behind in the app. Yesterday's lesson was "Noting" at moments through the day which of the senses is predominant - seeing hearing touching smelling tasting and also thinking. And noting as it shifts. No judging and not trying to change. Mind training for getting out of habit loops and into present moment. Today's lesson is "Craving As Fire" - like with the Inner Child Tantrum, not adding fuel to the fire by eating junk food, stress eating or trying to force it out. Putting a line around it and letting it die out.
GF us all aiming to FINISH FEBRUARY FUERTE! That's "strong" in Spanish. I couldn't think of an appropriate "F" English adjective.
RUTH - GFY with the mindful eating exercise! Yes I too resist that and yet need it. You've done great with the Miles!
AMY - GFY with the TM. I know you are most comfortable with simply filling. You could customize your program and do simply filling with X pts per day added for peanut butter.
KELLY - GFY with the OP eating. hope your migraine is gone.
NANCY - GFY with the 3 Miles. Probably you're busy with animals & yard care but still getting in your miles!
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

Good Morning!!
Good day staying OP yesterday. I did a 3 mile WATP last evening. I went to the Dr yesterday after work. I have had issues with reflux and then last Friday I started having pain under my R rib that radiates to my shoulder and back. Pain just like I had before I had my gallbladder removed in December 2010. I have to have blood work and an US done once it is scheduled.
Cait: Great job with your miles. Sounds like some busy days ahead of you. I hope you enjoy your new group.
Amy: Have a great day. You must really like bread.
Brenda: Life is so busy at times. Don't beat yourself up if you do not get to the 250 miles this challenge. You have been doing well
Waving to all. Skinny vibes to all!! Happy Walking!!

Good Morning Walkers!
I'm at my WW monthly LT WI, down .4 lbs. I thought it'd be more but it's almost 2 sticks of butter. It's all good.
No exercise yesterday but I was in green zone of pts. I stayed up a while watching TV, but only ate fruit and did JGTB around 11pm.
We're in town which is an all day event. 1 hour drive each way.
Day 14 of Eat Right Now and feeling good about it. Today's lesson was about how to "Stay On Track." He used another driving analogy - driving from NY to CA but seeing a sign like "this way to Disneyland" and veering off. How to use long term outcome goals (to arrive at my destination) and daily action goals (what to do) to stay on the highway or to get back going in the right direction when we veer off.
KELLY - GFY with the WATP & OP. Hope the reflux improves & tests are helpful.
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

Cait I didn't realize you were so far from town. GFY on the loss.
Amy you are doing great with your steps.
I walked two miles yesterday and two today. I intended to walk one more today, but it was so nice outside that I got busy and didn't walk anymore. It was 86* today. Nancy

Good Morning!!
I had a good OP day yesterday and did a 2 mile WATP. I had my lab work done yesterday and there is some changes in the liver enzymes. Last month when I had a blood work everything was normal. I spoke with 2 of the providers that I work with since they are gastroenterologists and they said with my symptoms it most likely is a bile duct problem and may require an ERCP. I am having an US done next Wednesday. I think my Dr is going to refer me to my office.
Cait: Great job being down at your WI. You are doing great with your plan.
Nancy: Great job getting all those miles in. Beautiful weather. We actually are going to be in the 70s today and tomorrow. Unusual weather for February in PA.
Waving to all. Skinny vibes and happy walking!!
