I'm IN.
WW "Family" Breakfast has been postponed so I'm able to attend KressSibs Monthly Breakfast instead.
After yesterday's Five Boyz - and PT, and torrents and T-storms and no water at the MousekeHouse and replacing our picture window here and various other bits of the day (and did I mention... FIVE BOYZ?!?!), I am seeking a quiet day.
Oh, wait. I have an eyeDoc appt at 12:30.
Coffee's a good start... ☕☕☕...
✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨ Have a healthy-eating day, all. ✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨

Hoping you find some peace today, diva49! Good morning all. Bought all the supplies for enclosing the bottom of the deck with lattice and we'll start cutting lumber today. The new fencing for the dogs will extend out from the deck but we don't want the dogs hanging out under the deck so it needs to be made off limits with lattice. We have plenty of time---fence installation is scheduled for the third week of May. I think this is the last project with the house...I think. Wishing all a good day!

You need a down day MJ. What happened to the window and water? Have fun with the lattice Fullmahina I'm in. Charlie and I fed the ferals and got a longer walk than usual I hitch Charlie to a tree just outside where we feed them. Most of the neighbors know this but one of the neighbors didn't realize I was in the woods and stopped to check on Charlie, which was sweet. Going to pick up some yard stuff at Lowes and get started when it gets a little dryer after last night's boomers.

Good morning all! We have gorgeous weather here this morning and I'll be taking a walk through the neighborhood later this morning. The freeway closest to us was closed for 8 hours yesterday because of a large wreck with 2 semis. The traffic taken off the freeway came close enough to my home that we were locked in. That same freeway will be closed all weekend while they demolish a bridge so I'm planning projects at home since the traffic will be intense all weekend. Sigh, such is progress!
I'm grilling tonight and will be enjoying this gorgeous weather. I love April weather!

Good morning all! Sunny but, cooler here. Gusty high winds have us putting off some outdoor chores and we'll instead head to Lowe's and the carpet store. If the wind dies down later, we'll cook some burgers and veggies on the grill. linda72, that traffic sounds like a pain. They hold a lot of bike and foot races here that shuts down traffic and invariably on the weekends. If we don't need to get out, it can be fun to have front row seats but, otherwise... *sighs with Linda* diva49, hope you get a chance to relax. Have a good day everyone - enjoy your projects!

We're in the market for new carpet for our bedroom. Let me know if you find something special. I finally decided I would not change to tile or wood floor there because of issues with noise, coldness and slipping on the rugs I would add to the floors.

Good morning. I’m in.
I woke up at 4 but then went back asleep and didn’t wake up again until 7:30. Missy was not pleased; but she’s had her “sink drink” now and some “good kind food” and has settled back into bed for nap #1.
Once I get going I will accomplish some construction prep tasks. We are supposed to have coolish Spring temps today and that will be welcome.
That’s it. Everyone enjoy their day and KOKO.

I couldn't stand not having carpet in the bedroom for those same reasons. We're looking to replace carpet in one of the bedrooms and in the living areas where the foot traffic is heaviest. We do have a hardwood floor in the office which is nice but, it's definitely chillier. I'll keep you posted

What happened to the window and water? Re: window - the seal failed and there was a discoloration at the bottom of the outer glass (UV film). It was fully-covered by warranty and was a pop-it-out-pop-it-in procedure; it was ordered/scheduled 6 weeks ago. Re: water - they were digging on the next street over, so water was shut off in the whole neighborhood. Since we had the storms pass through, I opted not to haul all of the boys over there, when I didn't know if they'd be finished on their original 11-3 timeline. Because I happened to drive back there (part of the kerfuffle about morning drop-offs/pick-ups), I saw the hang tag on the door and was able to stock MissMouse up - tea kettle, coffee pot, big pitcher in the fridge, Brita. They're on a 24-hour boil water advisory.

We have tile that looks like wood throughout the house accommodating the accidents of the dog and cats. We don't need a lot of rugs and if it is cold I wear socks to bed.
I was on a master gardeners tour this morning and we are going to a progressive dinner at 5 p.m. No time for personals but have a great weekend.
