No spoilers: I thought the writing and acting was really good to end the series

I watched for a few years then stopped getting the copies a few years ago. I did check in with a friend who has been following it, checked online for the reviews (with spoilers) so know how it ended. I remember trying to read t he books and getting bogged down...wonder if they would make more sense NOW after seeing the series for awhile.
Anyway...big production over eight years providing jobs for many and fodder for talk to so many...whether they did or did not like the program from week to week.

And, I think the ending set things up for spin-offs and prequels and sequels. You know, just like Star Wars!

It was a huge money maker! I'm not sure if I'm interested in the prequel about how the family lines started and the Night King (that's the speculation for the new series). I'd be more interested in the further adventures of arya stark lol.

I'd be more interested in the further adventures of arya stark lol. Personally, I can't stand prequels. It's like starting at the beginning of a book after you read the last few chapters. I simply don't care. YES to Arya!! And the Wildlings, Tyrion, and Samwell, and Brienne (let's see a fling with Tormund!!). Not all that interested in Sansa or Bran. And I wish Jamie would have survived. And The Hound. They were getting really interesting as characters. Wait---we didn't actually SEE The Hound's dead body. He could have landed safely in the water? One can hope. I put this in a spoiler just in case....
