There was way too much food and wine yesterday! Ah well...today is another day. We did have fun, together!
CHERRY: Keep us posted on the lower meat intake and how you are feeling. Hope you had fun at the Aid get together.
BEVERLY: I hope you wear sunscreen or cover up while out by the pool! I burn quickly so don'g spend much time outside in the sun.
LYNN: What kind of clothes will you need for the cruise? Will the weather be nice or hot/cold? I BET you are getting excited!

Good morning friends,
I am the only one up here this early, I just woke up & couldn't go back to sleep. Just sitting here & getting caught up on e-mails, I have the coffee brewing & will soon pour a cup. I think we are going to spend part of the day today going to a few flea markets. The weather forecast is for rain today, so maybe we will hit the inside markets. Yesterday, we played bingo by the pool, it was nice.
Lynn, I am so anxious to hear every detail of your trip!!
Waving to all! Have a great Thursday.

Good morning. It was a good meeting last evening. The church will be celebrating its 130th anniversary in August and we talked about some of the plans for the celebration. When we had our meetings in the afternoon, we would have a substantial meal afterward. Now that it is in the evening after supper we just have a light lunch. Last night we had crackers, cheese, and lunch meats and a dessert, a strawberry, jello, cream cheese, pretzel bottom crust dessert. It was good, and one I haven't had for a long time. I had one piece and about 5 Ritz crackers with cheese.
I think my mostly plant based diet will go just fine. I really haven't missed having meat most every day. I still will have some cheese, at least in veggie casseroles and on pasta, and I think I'll use some Greek yogurt occasionally and maybe an egg now and then. So it is not totally vegetarian/vegan but probably more Mediterranean with chicken or fish/seafood a couple times a week. Cruciferous vegetables are encouraged, which includes cabbage, dark leafy greens, broccoli and cauliflower. I'm not all that crazy about cauliflower, but it is good roasted with other vegetables and in salads. I'm at least going to give it a good try.
Have a good day, beaches.

Hi all!
I had a dr appointment this morning and just got back. I stopped at DH's office for a bit too.
The weather in Europe will be 50's to 60's in the day and 40's at night. I think we will bring clothes to layer up and not heavy coats...so bulky to pack. We also have to take raincoats as I see a lot of showers in the places we are visiting. Getting excited but a lot to do before we go.
I will go down my list of thongs to do and get some things done today.
Enjoy the day!!! Have fun at the flea markets and gardening and reading and smiling!!
