Quiet day yesterday. Hubby wants to invite a visiting from the USA cousin for lunch and that means coming up with a menu and also cleaning the kitchen...it was stacked with dishees, pots and pans on his last visit and would rather NOT have it the same when he comes the second time, too.
The friend who did lunch on Wednesday called to say she was exhausted after the Wednesday get together. She wants no more lunches or something to make it easier. I mentioned salad only in summer with bread and cheese or fruit or whatever. OR potluck. We will discuss it on Wednesday.
BEVERLY: Every time I hear "Flea Market" it makes me smile. Here they are called Souk El Barghout (barghout being flea) and I imagine fleas hopping around everywhere. Hope you had a fun day shopping!
CHERRY: Your meeting at the church sounds interesting. I am sure you will do fine with eating less meat. I am off beef pretty much totally and rarely eat chicken. I don't really eat fish either...never have loved it so I do eat cheese and some dairy and eggs so am more of a lacto-ovo vegetarian than a vegan though I might end up vegan eventually.
LYNN: It will be cool on the cruise! I can see that layering is a good idea. I have read that one can use a raincoat as a robe but on a cruise with your husband doubt you will need a robe I always plan to have everything mix and match when traveling. Every top has to go with more than one bottom and vice versa. It frees up a lot of luggage space that way. I read thongs and thought...aha...then just saw your last post...thongs (before becoming underpants) meant flip-flop sandals to me
PAM: I envy you the time with your mother! Enjoy every moment you can!

Good morning. It is a nice morning, sunny and calm. Right now the temp is only 33 but it is supposed to get up to about 61 for the high. However the wind will pick up this afternoon. Maybe I can get a few things done outside today.
Other than that there is nothing much on my schedule for today, other than some things around the house. My days sound pretty boring, but I'm pretty much a homebody and I enjoy just being around home.
Have a nice day, beaches.

Good morning friends,
Pretty nice weather here in central FL. Tad of rain off & on yesterday, I think it's supposed to be the same today.
So far, we haven't decided what we are going to do today, maybe just go to the mall. We toured 2 flea markets yesterday, really didn't buy anything, just looked around. One of the mkts was a real dump, the other one was nicer & even air conditioned. We ate lunch at a Chinese buffet.
Hope everyone is having a great week & looking forward to a great weekend.

Just got back from the beauty parlor. I tired this one for the first time and I liked it. They were very friendly and made me feel at home. She layered my hair so it looks like I have more...haha...She put a ton of hair spray on it....I can't wait to wash it.
I will putter around today. I have been slowly getting everything together for our trip. I'm so glad I am home so I can do it at a leisurely pace.
Have a great day all!
