I'm IN.
And looking out over Lake Teedyuskung, and at the cloud layers overhead.
Rain or shine, it's going to be a great day with Toots.
And he's making coffee now... ☕☕☕
🌿🌷🌿🌷🌿🌷🌿🌷🌿 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌿🌷🌿🌷🌿🌷🌿🌷🌿

It's a perfect spring day here at the Jersey shore. I'm on the deck with a cup of coffee watching the grass grow. Jack has been roof climbing, scaring the daylights out of me. No agenda today

Good morning. Going out to lunch with DD later as we decided that we should not have to cook or clean on Mother's Day and don't want to fight the crowds tomorrow. Casual lunch, no corsages. Lunch will be early and will not involve the counting of points or calories. The rest of the day is whatever it is. Supposed to be mostly sunny but then rain so who knows. Have a good day, everyone!

Happy Saturday and no rain yet! We're drying out here but there is a chance for rain this afternoon. I'm taking DD shopping this morning for her birthday gift at her favorite jewelry store ( Kendra Scott) and we may get each other Mother's Day gifts there. DSIL and grandkids are making dinner for us tonight: Seafood Salsa (a homemade salsa filled with fresh shrimp, crab and crawfish), stuffed seafood mushrooms and caprese salad. Needless to say, it will be yummy! Hope everyone enjoys their day!

Good morning. I’m in. Slept in this morning. Ready for more coffee and breakfast. I will be working a book sale later this morning at our recently renovated branch library. The coordinator said: “Bring a snack.” Since we will sell through the lunch hour, I guess I’ll stop somewhere to pick up a sandwich. Currently I am not equipped to prepare take-out food! I hope everyone has a great weekend. KOKO

DotRen that was crazy when it was raining in the stadium with the roof closed! linda72 the river is at 103.2', action stage is 114' so we are looking good as long as the upcoming rains are just minor. *Crossing everything*

zazzles your library reminds me of a town square where everyone meets to hang out. I just love the design. Yes it does. That little park and library is in the original old part of town in what was once the downtown business district. In the 60s some slick developer convinced the city to tear down two blocks of established businesses and put up what is known as Franklin Square—which I guess it was modern in its time. When that was done, downtown lost its definition and became a thing of history…”there is no there there” anymore. The branch library was actually the city’s 2nd main library; the very first was above a storefront on a street a couple of blocks away. This branch served as the main library for decades until a new main library was built in the Central Park complex. And the Central Park main, a cinderblock affair, was razed and rebuilt as a lovely, warm and inviting two-story affair about 15 years ago. The branch I’m going to today was remodeled extensively a couple of years ago and is much equipped to meet the needs of the community today. It is just lovely. And we’re lucky to be selling books outside on the patio today because the weather is mild and “springy."

Checking in this beautiful sunny morning. My brother in law’s mother has been very ill and she passed late Friday night. Since today’s activities were a celebration of his birthday, that has now been postponed. I think there will be a small gathering tomorrow to celebrate mom and all our mothers. Playing it by ear at this point. Carrying on smiling and loving the blue sky.

The Dallas thunderstorms delayed us an hour. At first they thought it would be three. We board for London in 45 minutes and then on to Budapest. So many missed flights here with long lines at customer service.
