We are 7 hrs ahead of East Coast time. We walked to St Peter Basilica and are on a bus tour of the city ending at the Central Market. We are on our own in the afternoon.
We are on the Pest side of the Danube looking at the Buds side. The city is beautiful. I have been drinking water and moving but I am not as strict about eating. Good habits is I donโt snack between meals or binge. I have a hard time turning down a good dessert so limit to one a day. Choices๐ Bee and Ann, hope you are doing well and Scooter too. George our cat gets sick on grass and we canโt stop him

DivaTaxi's on duty. MHMR is on its early schedule, plus MissMouse's housecleaners are coming between 8-8:30 so I will need to lock up after them. The heat just came up in the house (it's 44* and forecast to get to upper 60s) but still cloudy <sigh>. Toots has a gig tonight; the Kressling & K'ling2 have soccer practice (soggy fields permitting).
The Comcast guy got to the MousekeHouse at 11:30 yesterday and was there until after 2 PM. There were a couple of "maintenance dept" things - not the house, but the area wiring - and he installed a new modem that MissMouse had purchased (she did not NEED it, but at this point it's time to take ANY question about "it might be your modem" out of the equation). The last fix lasted 5 days...
The Mouseketeer and his (male) classmates had a rough day at school yesterday - too many days with no outside recess. Let's hope today is better. 'Nuff said.
Last night was the Kressling's final middle school band concert. <sigh>. It was good to be there for this milestone. They've had a substitute band director since the Winter Concert; Mrs. Boulton's been on maternity leave. But she came to the concert, and we got a pic of the Kressling with her, and also one with Mr. Bergman who faced a pretty thankless task and did well (MrsB's a tough act to understudy).
I'm sipping coffee... โโโ... tastes good...

Mj What a memorable occasion for Kressling His patents, and you & Toots. Fingers crossed that ComCast can resolve the tech issues at the MouseHouse. Hope that coffee has an extra jolt to it-- just in case--you need it today.

Good morning all. Audrey thanks for getting us started. So happy that you are enjoying the sights sounds and tastes of you vacation MJ enjoy that java. Mine is perking away as I type June hope R is continuing to be well. So far today it's not raining. Not sure how long the 'dry weather' will last. This has not been a good May at all between the rain and the cold. My guess is that we'll jump right into 90 weather!!!! Waving to all and will CBL. I plan on KOKO today!

Loving the pics on FB and IG - Audrey. I'm all for enjoying a taste of everything. Love the pic MJ. We're all suffering from lack of sunshine and outdoor time I think. Hope all is well with the internet. June - How did R do back at work? Hope the weather holds for you Ann We are enjoying beautiful sunshine and quickly rising temps from a very chilly 42 this morning. However, they keep leaving in the possibility of showers tonight and tomorrow a.m. I'm hoping they are wrong about the rain on Friday because my handyman rescheduled from last night to Friday because of the rain. It will get done eventually. WI was good but meeting tonight looks to be boring as they have pretty much recycled this one to death and I have the handouts to prove it.

Will be leaving shortly.
Take care.

Hair appt afterwork today and then errands to run while I'm in town. May not get a walk in other than walking around stores...KOKO. Audrey , enjoy your trip - you can get back to the basics once home. MJ, no outside recess is so difficult...kids really need that. Love a good band concert Ann, our weather has cooled off some but to the perfect temp! 40/50 at night and 70's during the day...it won't last long I am sure. We've already had quite a few 90 degree days. KOKO for me, too! Susi, meeting does sound blah but congrats on the WI. Hope the handyman can come on Friday. June, hope you and R are well Becky, how is Scooter today? Bee, hope you are continuing to heal and feel great Cathy, good job sticking to plan! Pam. hope you were able to get caught up on your rest and are feeling better today.

A sales lady told us weather in Budapest is how it should be in February, rain and more rain. Itโs not horribly but not conducive for an afternoon walking tour . In the morning we went to St Stephen Basilica and it was dry. Then we were in the bus to see the city ended at the market hall. We used umbrellas going to lunch and to see the nearby beautiful Herend china then back to the hotel for hot tea.

Ann Have a great outing. Do what you do-- KOKO! Dry weather... I am ordering for everyone that I know! I work on the higher the, peratures, too.
Audrey A nice cup of tea is perfect after a day of damp, rainy weather. Hope that the basilica was inspiring even if the weather was not.
Susi Fingers crossed that your handyman can get the work done on Friday. But yiu are right, it will eventually get accomplished. Congrats on your WI! That's true-- the repetition, while needed for new new members, needs to be handled better. A new twist? A new mini series?
LaDonna Enjoy being pampered at the salon. You really can rack up quite a few steps when shopping
Waving "hi" to Bee j, Pam, Becky, and Cathy!

Wednesday's goals
Give thanks for R's recuperation. Dr. Removed the stitches. Incision site looked really good-- minimal bruising & even less swelling. No infection. After today, R can wash his hands w/ soap & water and drive. He is very excited about driving. He can resume normal activities-- within reason. Can lift anything under 5lbs. No mowing for another week. Has decided that he will not attempt anything strenuous at week until after his next check up, JUne 5th.
Take a breathe and try to decide what I should tackle next since I can shift my focus. House needs cleaned and so on. One thing at a time.
We have a glorious, sunny May Day and I intend to go for a nice walk.

Audrey glad that you had the umbrella to use. I bet that cup of hot tea tasted good LaDonna I too love 70 degree weather. Not a fan of hot or humid and my guess is that our weather is going to go from this to HOT. Oh well.....TG for AC is what I say June that is awesome that R is doing so well. He had a good nurse looking after him Smart move on not pushing himself. I bet he can't wait to get behind the wheel of his vehicle. My partial was worked on once again. My mouth is still sore on one side, but that 'could be' due to all the in and out and grinding being done. I'm doing 'as they say' and rinsing with warm water salt and I keep them in until they hurt then take them back out again. Both the dentist and hygienist told me that it takes time before they 'get it right'....and not to worry...should I have any problems after a few days to call and come back in. So there you have it. Right now I'm getting ready to sit and read with a cup of coffee at my side Should I not make it back online...wishing all I didn't chat with a wonderful rest of your day.

Feeling much better today. Thanks for all the positive vibes. Busy morning as I went to my studio and WI. The scale was down a lb destroying some of last weekโs gain. I treated myself to a pineapple corer. I know weโll eat more fresh pineapple. Sprouts had pineapples on sale as well as fresh cherries. Dh was happy to see nectarines as well. Weโre smiling this afternoon. I also got a workout in and plus ran a few errands. Iโm home now and relaxing. Iโm willing to continue to make healthy choices and track every bite. Iโm continuing to get in my liquids and steps as I aim for blue.

Audrey All your pictures look so pretty.I'm glad you are having a fun time.I wouldn't skip dessert on a wonderful trip like that either.
MJ I don't think you will ever realize you are really retired.LOL.I am so glad you were able to be there for the Kressling's big milestone.Great picture.
Ann I'm glad it's not raining in your area today. We have a slight chance of a popup shower(heat shower)but we get another 2 beautiful days and then some rain Saturday afternoon and evening.Hopefully just rain and no storms.I will join you on KOKO.
Susi I hope your handyman can come Friday evening.I'm glad WI was good but you would think WW could come up with new topics once in awhile anyway.
LaDonna Enjoy your hair appointment after work.Scooter seems better so far.She hasn't been shaking her ears.DH said she did eat grass the last time he took her out but he did mow the yard so that will cut down on some of that. She hasn't been sick so far so I hope that continues.
