2. This quote recently caught my eye:

AOTD:
1. My goal for this round is to continue collecting blue dots using the ghgs. Right now I need to continue to limit refined sugar. I also need to concentrate on getting inmore liquids, especially water.
2. Today my mom, dd, and one of my sisters who is visiting from CA are having lunnch with some of mom’s friends. I’m anticipating laughter and making memories.

My goal is to write down every BLT - that usually helps me put things in perspective and it also goads me into staying OP.
Expecting something good to happen - think we are going to the grocery store so expect to find some tasty food for our meals this coming week.

I am expecting to have a good day food wise & other wise. Looking forward to going to Wal-mart in a neighboring town, Also, looking forward to firing up the grill & cooking some chicken.
I am tracking, too. If only I could stop my night-time eating.

I'm going in to town today and I will get a good variety of vegetables to eat this week. I've been stir frying a lot of my veggies, also roasting some. I have been tracking what I eat too.

I'm pleased by the experience I've had with taking time to write and reflect. I'm not just focusing on food, but on wellness and just life. It can be easy to slip into seeing the negative. I'm not ignoring the challenges or some of the frankly negative things, but I do see that most days, there is still so much that is going right, going well.
So, that quote ties right in with what I'm trying to do and see each day and become aware of in my writing - I'm not sure I have been expecting good, but I do see that "good" does show up at some point in most every day.

I stopped last evening on my way home from work and stocked up on veggies and fruit. So I am ready for some healthy eating this week. After a whole morning of rain, the sun has come out. I was happy to see the rain (which luckily held off while we were walking this morning) as it hasn't rained here for 3 weeks and the ground really needed a soaking. I am happy to let God do the watering of my garden.
