a friend just got an email from WW saying there will no longer be a magazine. A refund will be given to those with subscriptions, though printed and digital resources will be available to help members reach their goals.
Very sad!

I no longer have a WW magazine subscription but that is very sad.Makes me wonder what Mindy will get rid of next.

chook, There was a thread about the magazine a while back on one of the complaints here (USA) was nobody was offered refunds, and I don't think anyone got a notification.

What! I was wondering why I have not received any magazines lately. I did a Google search I can't find anything.
At first I thought maybe my husband did not renew my subscription I guess I need to apologize LOL

Sorry, musta missed that thread.... but interesting theyāre actually giving notice here.
The June edition isnāt out yet, but is advertised in the May edition, as are 3, 6, 12 and 24 month subscriptions š³

The chat agent more or less indicated ādonāt count it out yet,ā but then what else would you expect them to be coached to say. I was shocked recently to find that Cooking Light ceased publication altogether at the end of last year. They still have a web site, and I see on their web site that they now have a diet offering with meal plans, tracking, support articles, etc. |

Cooking Light actually merged with Eating Well. If you liked Cooking Light, you should check that one out.

I had a subscription to Weight Watchers Magazine. I did read the original thread on here. I, of course, have not received any emails stating the magazine was discontinued nor anything about getting a refund. Maybe I will get a surprise in the mail one day (refund). Not holding my breath, though.

If it is no more, I would be very sad. I've been a long time subscriber. Just renewed a few months agk. Wonder why they would accept (or send out renewals) if they were going to discontinue publication? The bigger issue for me would be transferring my subscription to a magazine that I'm not interested in, I have had that happened several times.

dar1965, when I chatted with CS I got the impression that ceasing publication was an abrupt decision; I believe the magazine is a subsidiary (separate business), and wonder if they hit a point where they were not going to be able to make the payroll. The conversion ended on a note similar to āfinal decisions havenāt been made; stay tuned.ā That probably explains why nobody is hearing anything from WW.

Under the heading of "you have GOT to be kidding me" I was in Walmart sporting goods section and there was a copy of ""WW Magazine" no date on it just "display until July something or other"

Hmmmm very very strange. Deb, was it actually an issue of WW magazine or was it one of those magazine cookbooks? I believe it was Oxmoore House that periodically published the magazine cookbooks which always had a ādisplay untilā month on them. |

zazzles, it didn't look like the cookbook type one it looked like the old magazine did, that was why I actually looked at it trying to find the date. I should have just bought the dang thing but I got sidetracked. OR they could just be messing with people and trying to make them think it is the magazine so they buy it when it is actually the recipe one. And sporting goods was where they used to keep the old magazines.
