Hi June and AWF. Computer seems to be okay. I just have no patience when it acts up.
I liked this new nail salon and will definitely go back.
Very tired so will chat in the am. I did read all posts just too beat. It will be an early to bed night.
Sweet dreams.

It is soooooooooooo good to be home. LOL
Scale was not nice to me, but I can change that quickly.
Tomorrow I will look for the AWARE glasses and the willing to be WILLING shoes. May take a day or two to acclimate.
Hope AWF have a great day!

Today I can:
* Hydrate * Have veg at every meal
* Get the GHGs in * Follow Core/SFT
JUNE and LADONNNA and SUSIQ and others who commented on the meal Wednesday: The hostess said she felt she had not provided a meal she was proud of and felt horrible doing what the one person had requested. The consensus of the group was that we will prepare what we want to and not continue the "salad only" idea that the tired woman said she wanted us all to adopt. The woman who said, "No chips, no nuts, salad and bread only." arrived with chips saying..."thought I might have overdone it and wasn't sure I could go cold turkey." Argh! The salad with everything in it was much more work than having a side salad, an easy main dish and whatever else.

Thanks for starting us June Ann - Sleep well. I just want to go back to sleep. Bee - At least you are home and can do what you need to do You too Becky can do what you need to do. Compromise Cathy. More that just salad and bread but not a full blown indulgence. Have a great day. Off to the gym but I would rather sleep. Tomorrow I will sleep in. Breakfast and lunch are planned. Need to work on dinner.

DivaTaxi's off-duty; Son#1 texted that he will take the whole day off (much better, IMO, than going in and coming home mid-day). It is the last day of MHMR on its early schedule and Toots is coming along to do some yard work before we pick up MousekeTWO at 11:45 and then the Mouseketeer at 3:30. I've got LA-F at 9:35 AM. And - IF I remember all the bits, LOL - I need to take a couple of things back to Dress Barn. Toots picked the one he liked best (see pic; I already had the sweater).
It's 58* and heading for the mid-70*s, partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of T-storms right around evening rush hour. I'll keep looking for a sunbeam...
I will take the Kressling to soccer practice for 6 PM and then we're keeping him overnight since YM drill is on Saturday. Dinner's based on the rest of the chicken I slow-cooked on Wednesday.
I did make a "we're retired" move yesterday - I changed Toots' dentist appointment from next Monday at 6:45 PM (right in the middle of whatever kidStuff usually goes on) to Thursday 6/13 at noon. They were delighted to have the evening appt open up, and it eases up our schedule too.
Coffee... βββ... need coffee...
πΏπΉπΏπΉπΏπΉπΏπΉπΏ Have a healthy-eating day, all. πΏπΉπΏπΉπΏπΉπΏπΉπΏ

Ann Hope that you awoke well rested. Great that you could find a local, small business to support.
Bee j Happy to think of you in your home and that much further along the recovery road. Bet that you can not wait to get into the kitchen and feet back on your own "feed."
Cathy Sigh. . . Old habits die hard especially w/ women who "love" others w/ food. At least the group seems to accept that any hostess can choose to scale back. That's a step in a positive direction. I somestimes need to remind that if I do not provide this or that food, it is OK. Stores sell chips, others can cook, and so on. No one is really deprived. Great goals for the day!
Susi You will thank yourself afterward for pushing yourself out of the bed and into the gym. Glad that you have a weekend visit w/ your DGF to enjoy.
Mj Beautiful picture of you! Love that Toots chose it! That is so sweet. Hip hip hooray-- to having earlier appts. for you and Toots you are retired. Having a leftover protein as a starting point for dinner does help.

Good morning all. I slept in which felt GREAT! Overcast right now. Supposed to clear but I won't hole 'em to it I do have a few errands to run so will get steps that way. Bee it is so great to have you home. Yes you do know what to do once you find the aware glasses and I know you'll be willing to put them on Becky yes the salon was great. What's even better is it's RIGHT HERE in town Gotta love that! I'm just tired of traipsing all around as it takes up an entire day. I shall also hydrate right along with you. Hope your knees/legs and Scooter are all doin' fine. Cathy as usual, great goals for today. Sometimes 'just a salad' can be time consuming. Susi I hope you get a nap in today. Enjoy the gym and awesome that you are almost all planned and tracked. Yeah MJ on the appointment change. Small steps add up June yeah to your nursing duties coming to an end. Amazing that R has recovered so quickly. He surely DID have a good nurse at his side My breakfast and lunch are basically the same...just need to jot it down and we are having pot roast and veggies for supper. Easy peasy..... Waving and wishing all a a wonderful Friday!

Thanks Susi. I really want to keep things more 'local' Just tired of all the traipsing around. Been out of the city for 12 years now...about time I started looking closer Sorry about your no nap. Our rain has stopped but it's pretty dank out there. When we do go for a walk, I'll more than likely need a light jacket. Pffftttt Will try to CBL.
