QOTD:
Don’t be afraid to start over. This time you’re not starting from scratch, you’re starting from experience.
How do you experience starting over? Does the above statement ring true to you?
AOTD:
I’m not afraid to use the reset button. The only thing I refuse to do is to quit. I know that if I was to quit, I would lose all the progress I’ve made and I’d be further back than when I started. I refuse to go back there.

I definitely have experience with weight loss programs! I don't have all the paperwork for all of the ones I have tried but did dig out the CORE/SFT and Exchange versions recently to try to use to get back on track. Not sure if it is starting over or restarting but...keeping healthy eating in moderation in mind is something I would love to achieve so that it becomes second nature and goal weight is a given 24/7.

I have always been thankful that there is no limit to the amount of times that we can start over. Lately, it seems like I am starting over almost every day, but I refuse to give up. I am still in the game!

That statement does ring true. You don't forget what you've learned about healthy eating, so when you fall down and eat a bunch of stuff that isn't included in healthy eating, you can back to eliminating all that and focusing more on healthy things. Not that you can't eat some of those things occasionally, just not every day.
A couple days ago I had a cookie and a small dish of ice cream. I hadn't had either for a long time, and I probably won't have anything similar again for quite awhile.

I agree with Beverly. It is wonderful that we can start over as many times as needed. I know that I learn something everytime I fail and hopefully don't make the same mistakes too many times before I get it right.

I like the quote! Makes lots of sense in weight loss, healthful living as well as many other life situations.
There are times it is situation of "one step forward, two steps back" where I slip a little and then get back on the same track. In other cases, it's closer to a total re-boot, realizing that whatever I'm doing is not the right strategy at all and taking a different approach or direction.
This also reminded me of a quote attributed to Thomas Edison - "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
