bbbearsmom, this is very interesting. I'm enjoying looking at the different diets and I can see that many people don't find anything wrong with the ultra-processed meals. In fact, I recognize some of these foods as ones I USED to eat before WW. Just looking at the pictures, it seems that the unprocessed meals had a lot more to eat. I'll be interested to see what the research shows as they study the results. One question I had was about Greek yogurt. I noticed one of the ultra-processed meals had non-fat greek yogurt but I couldn't tell about the unprocessed meals (it said plain greek yogurt on day 6.) I've switched from non-fat to 2% Fage greek yogurt because I read that some fat is needed to absorb vitamins and minerals. It's worth the point hit that WW gives the 2% if it's better for me. Thanks for sharing, Judy. It does give me ideas for snacks and meals that are unprocessed.

Good article I think studies like this really sparked the paleo movement years ago -it's nice to see more of them

Great article Judy thank you for posting it.
"The unprocessed diet used in the study, for example, cost 40 percent more than the ultra-processed diet." < Crazy.
