Message lost!!! cathygeha lasagna freezes well in Zip loc bags or containers. geminigrl only 6 women in the village are hostesses for tours and others are jealous because it is good supplemental income. HRH Crown Prince Alexander of Serbia and his wife Princess Margaret chose our tour group to dine at the castle because they are fundraising for medical care for Serbia. One of our group is a semiretired oncologist from Williamsburg who specializes in breast cancer and Serbian women have one of the highest rates in the world. He is considering how he can help them. They also need incubators. It was quite an honor to hear them.

This trios so good because it is truly off the beaten path yet I have Hungarian and Romanian heritage which makes it so interesting.

Good morning Ladies, This afternoon I plan to take another walk with the friend I walked with a couple of weeks back - she wore me out last time LOL. Today will be OP. Work not too bad. June, would you believe no kids showed up? we have so few children that's why we don't have a regular SS for them. Its sad. Our church has dwindled down to almost none...I don't think the doors will be open much longer. I also neglected some of my chores...will try and get caught up a little each evening. Ann, sorry your rest was interrupted but nice that you were able to get some prayer time in great job on the veg prepping! Susi, I meant to mention my coworker's dau and her boyfriend took a trip to Jersey last week and mentioned they were coming to Jenkinson's. I've not heard how their trip went but I am anxious to hear how she liked it! Audrey, you take the best trips! enjoy! Bee, great to hear you are progressing..even if slowly..HUGS Becky, great goals. Is Scooter better? Cathy, I've not made a homemade lasagna in such a long time. I had the best recipe. I need to see if I can find it. MJ, is that your yard? its so pretty!

I would love feedback LaDonna. One thing my church does have is a large children's program. Sorry no kids showed up. My friend is too stubborn to use a scooter. She only reluctantly just started using a cane.

That's the perennial bed in the front of the house. We're adding more butterfly-friendly plants there - we have another bed in the backyard that has butterfly bushes, echinacea, and rudbeckia so plenty of "volunteers" for transplanting.

MJ beautiful bed. Hope you get some good volunteers for transplanting Susi that would make things easier if your friend used a scooter. At least she will do the cane. LaDonna so sorry to hear that your church attendance is dwindling. Audrey you do take wonderful trips. Well, we had a downpour earlier...now the sun is back out where it SHOULD be and hopefully it will remain out. Last night we were able to eat in the screen room which was wonderful. Hopefully we'll be able to repeat the process today. Time to get a move on. Will try to CBL...if not wishing AWF a wonderful day!

Audrey What an amazing honor for your group! Praying that the outreach charity helps Serbian women. After I thought about it, I suspected that there was likely a small cadre of sanctioned "hostess." My fri nd's group received the recipe for for the Apple cake and were told of TH efamily's battle to regain their home after the communist rule ended.
Ann Hope that the weather allows you lots of time in your screened room. Ahh... I can just picture you sippingyour coffee there. One of life's little pleasures.
LaDonna It can be so hard for small churches to stay alive, A local Methodist church has an aging congregation and mounting utility bills. I always try to find something to buy attheir rummage sales as a way to help. Have also seen the steady closure of area Catholic. In contrast,my neice's church has a growing youth and children's memebership and ministry. They host events like a large Easter egg hunt in the mall. i believe the church hasrebranded itself from The Movement to Rust City Ministry. But do not quote me on that. Glad that your walking buddy is available. It's nice to have company!
Susi Would be a hardthing to imagine how to respond to such an illness like your girlfriend's. A colleague also suffers for that ailment along/ a whole host of others. It canbe a very tough go for her at times. Sad.
Mj Please come and be the plant person at my home. I am trying to talk myself into some flowers in containers. I will ifR agrees to care for them..

Okey dokey Spent the morning in my study. Was able to repurpose, donate, recycle, and burn some items. Took some items to my work office, just b/c I was determined to "get stuff out of my study!" A former student, now friend, specializes in the 1960s, esp. the Kent State shorting & civil rights. I decided to give him a Life magazines about the KSU shooting & RFK? He is also getting materials on Nixon's impeachment. I have not decided whether I am giving the Life magazine onthe moon landing. Any way, those items are ina drawer at the office. Other 1970s magazine I left in the office w/ a "free" sign. Someotherhistory nerd might enjoy them!
Will keep digging at the "stuff" in y study. It's time.

Cathy Great goals as usual.I love the think before you eat.
Audrey You will remember this trip for a long time I'm sure.So many interesting and great places to visit.
Ann What kind of veggies were you nibbling on?I would like to get some raw ones to snack on sometimes.
June Yep I thought someone would have caught that before delivery. They even mentioned looking in all the places in the box.Like I hadn't already done that twice.I did get an email today saying they were sending it out via USPS.Central TX is where I have always lived and today was hot, humid and really windy.
Susi I'm sorry your DGF has such limited mobility.Sending prayers they can make her more comfortable.
Audrey You will get it done after you get home.

LaDonna I hope your walk went better after work today.I am sorry no kids showed up for SS.It is always bad when a church congregation dwindles down. That has happened to a church where a friend of ours attends. We probably have around 100 people every Sunday and they have a great youth department. They do end their Wed night meetings for the year this Wednesday.I will be praying for your church.Scooter is better.I don't know if she is 100% yet but if she is throwing up it is outside.I am still pouring the probiotic powder on her food and then add a tiny bit of water and it makes like a little gravy and she loves it.
June You have been a busy bee today.
Pam Good goals as usual.
I went for a walk at 8:00 this morning and it was already 78 and humid. Then we bought groceries and went to Walmart. This afternoon the high was 89,humid and wind gusts up to 30 MPH.I don't know what possessed me to walk in that but I did.I'm done for the day.DH wanted the phone number of my ortho surgeon to talk to the office manager since my injections still aren't in.He had been wanting to call and I didn't want to but today I have just felt so frustrated I gave him the number. She was in a meeting so he had to leave a message. He told me she hasn't called back.I told him she probably wouldn't either. The only time I get to talk to her is if she is in her office at the time.I'm hoping I won't have to go to him after this is all over.
