Back again. We took a hood walk. It's beautiful out there...good walking weather for sure. Not hot or humid plenty of sunshine and NO RAIN with a nice breeze. Who could ask for more? ? June the only green beans I enjoy are either in the green bean casserole or french style. Whenever we are gifted with fresh green beans I pass them along to one of our neighbors LOL...I know, I'm 'off' that way Carl is not fond of raw peppers..he likes them stuffed or cooked. LaDonna how nice of you to help DS with the deep cleaning. I'm sure he appreciates that. HOpe you aren't too tired today. I know that bone tired feeling well..... (((June))) I am also saddened that your twin won't hold her grandchild. I know she will hold it spiritually through you. congratulations on the birth I hope your washer issues resolve quickly without the service call. Bee beautiful sunrise. Thanks for sharing. Carl is out mowing our lawn. They are supposed to come and sweet the streets in our community tomorrow, but I won't hold my breath. The gal that 'runs' the office leaves MUCH to be desired!!!! Going to sit in the screen room while I can. Should the breeze pick up I'll have to come inside as the pollen is horrible right now! Will CBL

June, congrats on the birth of the baby! It is sad that your twin won't hold them and that they won't know their grandmother -while we are here on earth anyway -but very special that part of her lives on in them. They are lucky to have you Hope the issue with the washer works out without you having to service. Glad your weather is so nice Ann - Ours if getting hotter by the minute..100's expected in the next few day ...

Cathy I hope the fire keeps away from you.
Ann I'm glad you slept well. Thanks for the tips on veggies to snack on.I already use grape tomatoes and cukes in my salads.I did buy some petite carrots today because I also like them.
Bee I hope you enjoyed Bible study. Thanks for sharing the beautiful sunrise.
MJ Sorry about the sick kids. You do great at adjusting your schedule and are a great grandmother.
LaDonna You are a good mom helping your DS clean house. My oldest DB and DSIL go to a small Methodist church in our hometown and I think it is pretty much the same there.
June LOL on your raw green beans.I rarely eat them cooked so I don't think I would like them raw either.Whatever works for each of us is what is good.Congrats on the new baby.I can understand the sadness about your twin.I hope your washer doesn't need serviced.

Ann I'm glad you got in your hood walk and that it's sunny. It's sunny and warm here now but it was cloudy this morning and it was warm when we were leaving to go to town.I was wearing shorts and a short sleeve top then suddenly the wind came up and suddenly it was 67 degrees.Surprise.We got a very small shower then it was out of here.
LaDonna What state do you live in where it's already expected to be in the 100's in a few days?Even here in TX our high has been 91 so far.
Ann If you find some place that stays in the 70's year around let me know.I would want to move in a heartbeat.Kenneth wouldn't move so I guess I'll stay here.LOL.
(((Pam)))Feel better soon.

June, congratulations and blessings to the family as you celebrate Piper's birth! She will know and love her grandma through you... Susi, how was the work day? Must've been chilly on the boardwalk. Cathy, did you ever find out about the fire? Ann, glad that you got a walk in today. Looks like we may be graced with a few days of Spring after all. Bee, prayers continue for your continued healing. When is your next re-check? Do you have any bandages or covers on the eye? LaDonna, prayers are also going up for your church! I have seen so much change in the Catholic communities (part of my teaching experience) - it's so hard to watch some congregations dwindle and the pain of closures/mergers. Pam, I hope you feel better soon! MousekeTWO had a quiet day with us - lounging on our loveseat watching Paw Patrol and nibbling on dry cereal - but his temp went back up mid-afternoon. He'll have another "relaxing day" tomorrow, with GrammyWags, and I will be completely off-duty. Toots is out at rehearsal and Son#1 cancelled soccer practice. The township has not mowed the field and the grass is up to the knees of the group that he'd work with tonight. They don't have games this weekend so they can miss the practice. This means that I am <gasp!> HOME ALONE. I need to forage for dinner. I have NO idea what I will put together.

I just got back home from a fried seafood buffet. My mom and brother invited us to meet them for dinner. I did pretty good. Instead of eating the buffet I asked for a flounder sandwich. I asked for nothing on it but pickles and i had a side of...you'll never believe...green beans! They were cooked - probably in fatback grease LOL. It was good though and I didn't feel stuffed when we left. Becky, I live in South Carolina in a little small town near Columbia. Our weather can be all over the place but summers are usually scorchers. MJ, thank you! enjoy your evening to yourself Pam, hope you feel better!
