There is a fire on the foothills of the mountains facing our house across the valley. Houses are made of concrete so most do okay and usually it is trees that someone wants destroyed to allow building. No idea what it is about today.
Today I can:
* Think before I eat * Track what I eat * move more than yesterday * hydrate * buy some produce

Cathy - Are you able to do any prepping and pretracking? I find that helps me a lot. Finalizing my plan for the day and will track when I get home from the gym.

Good morning all. Slept well and woke up to sunshine and a nice blue sky. Not sure where today will take me. After posting and doing my online stuff I'll sit and track and plan my day. Becky and June (from yesterday) the veggies that I snack on are raw petite baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, pickling cukes, baby peppers in various colors, cauliflower and broccoli....sometimes I'll add celery to the mix. That keeps my hands and mouth VERY busy LOL....I will use hummus as a dip or sometimes just have them raw. Cathy great goals and stay safe with the fire. Thank you for getting us started Susi enjoy your gym time and planning. Waving to AWF and will pop in later.

I'm IN.
MousekeTWO was sick last night and we are full-charge today since GrammyWags has 1-year-old Brayden who is just getting over strep. Today M2 is at 99.8 and droopy, but we expect that we will take him to our house in a bit so we can get some things done.
Toots has rehearsal tonight and will have his L/O veal parm for dinner. After I pick up the Mouseketeer at 3:30 I will be at the MousekeHouse until a parent gets home. M'teer has baseball so that won't be too late. There may be Boyz at my house (bigger ones) if Son#1 has soccer practice down the block.
So all in all a scrambly day with elements of turbulence. <meh>.

Good morning all - I was bone tired when I finally laid down last night. Walked with my friend and then helped DS with some housework. He's a bachelor and does well keeping things tidy but does not do any deep cleaning. Today will be a regular work day and KOKO for me. Cathy, hope the fires won't last long. How do they affect your air quality? I am super sensitive to smoke. Susi, great planning as usual. Ann, blue skies and sunshine sound great! Bee, sounds like a great combo...enjoy MJ, sounds like a busy day. Becky, thanks for the prayers for my church..its a small Methodist church and I think a lot of these churches are hurting for various reasons. Ours has an aging congregation or Middle aged. Most of us grew up in the church and its rare that we get new people in. So now that all of our children are grown and moved away or "churching" else where it is just a struggle. I'm glad Scooter is better

Bee Thx you for sharing that glorious sunrise. There is such beauty in ''tis world, and giving gratitude for it-- in all the ways it is exoorssed in our lives-- never fells to uplift me. Doing the "willing boogie" w/ you. Got on my "dancin'" shoes to keep moving on by the less healthy foods.
Cathy Thx for getting us started! Love that about this thread that others will host when I do not. To me, it reflects are circle of friendship. Hope that the fire does not skip towards your property and does not impact the air quality. Sounds like you have a lot of starategies in place to make this an OP day.
Mj Sending prayers for M2 & the baby. Poor lil types. Pardon me if I am confused, but wasn't M2 sick two or three weeks ago? Does he have seasonal allergies that set up ear/nose/throat ailments? Sending you a wave of extra energy and peace as you scramble through a busy day of being a number one caretaker and family "fixer." You are the best.
LaDonna I feel sad that your childhood church is languishing. Sigh... Whew! You really got quite the workout w/ a walk and a session of deep cleaning. KOKO is a good thing!
Ann Love all those crunchy vegetables except for peppers. I wish I liked peppers,b/c the badge of small, multi colored ones always look good to me. Ha ha ha. . . I do not hear you saying that you want to add raw green beans to your list.

So..... big news yesterday evening-- the arrival of a baby girl, Piper, for my nephew & his wife. Nephew is not very talkative, but he did text me & his sister. Safe delivery of a 8 lb 11 oz baby! Have not heard her height. Am excited, happy, and alternately sad that my twin will never hold her grandchildren. But that is how it. . . So I need to refocus on the celebration.
Tuesday's goals Remind myself of what my mom always said about weight loss: If it is to be, then it is up to me. OP this morning and will continue to work towards a blue dot.
Sitting here in the cellar trying to decide if my 2-yr old Speed Queen washer needs serviced. May be that there was some small piece of debris causing a squeaking sound -- according the the Internet! THis is could resolve itself. So I am sitting here listening to cycles and trying to decide if I still hear a slight squeak or not.
GAme of Thrones reference... " and now my Watch begins."
